So the whole game thing hadn't gone as well as she'd hoped, but then again, she'd heard rumors that the self-proclaimed Minipet Master was more or less off his rocker. Hard to expect much from a crazy, expired man with a flair for the dramatic. Besides, it was dumb to be disappointed, the laminated cards the others received curious, but definitely not what had been promised in the original bargain.
Adelle had just opened her bag to look for a textbook when the lights cut out, filling the whole of the interior with darkness. She was on her feet and elbowing fellow students aside before she fully absorbed what had happened, the thumping crashes at the other end commanding her notice. The exploded shards of window snapped underfoot, and then they were rolling sickeningly around, making her grab for the nearest solid object and hang on. Her eyes snapped shut, protective measures and a way to avoid dizziness both, curling in on herself to keep any unmeant blows from landing. By the time it was over, it didn't even matter that she was facing an overdressed ghost, or that what looked like hooves were sprouting from beneath the bed sheet. If it was the same thing from before - which the noises and general turmoil led her to believe it was - then she was going to get one good hit in. The gorgon sibling had been expecting a fray, and a fray she would have. With guidance from the blue light that the thing was exuding, she darted forward on shaking legs, the tattooed boa's warning patterning her movement as she stepped and swung simultaneously, predicting where momentum would carry it. Her guess paid off, and she slammed into it with a crunch, feeling the shock run up her arms even as she rolled to the side to avoid an immediate counterattack. By the time it blew past her, she was already trying to regain her feet, not about to be caught in a compromising position if she could help it. Her bones were still jangling slightly, but at least the blow had been solid and on target.

Sepheran was quite confused, suddenly he was tossed about like luggage, there were loud crashes and from what he could gather from everyone else there was something in the car with them.
Well whatever the thing was it must seem threatening for everyone to be attacking it. Grabbing a nearby suitcase Sepheran asked Liannan to better point him in the direction, listened close to pinpoint the area himself and threw the luggage.
He didn't know who's it was...but it wasn't his so he didn't care all that much.

Oh, no.
Oh no, no, no, no.
All the horrible memories of the Other Bathroom, the Battle of the Bands, every violent encounter G had been forced into came rushing back. The sea beast almost wilted when the lights flickered off, and something smashed through the window. He'd just been observing the Minipet Master's antics with open enthusiasm, valiantly deciding not to participate because he was Student Council and he was supposed to make sure that everyone else was having fun.
They were all suddenly tumbling around like mad, and when G managed to groggily lift his head... well, the eerie, glowing sheet at the end of the train made him shudder all over.
Mr. Ghost was not going to ruin G's happy fun train!
"GO AWAY!" The swamp beast let out an ear-splitting roar, hauling up someone's unfortunate piece of luggage and throwing it as hard as he could at the haunted bed sheet. He didn't want to have to fight, or deal with things that wanted to hit him with guitars, or soap monsters! ;__;

Laiha had been all prepared to wheel on the strange girl and tell her to go screw herself, but something stopped her. What was that noise...?! It sounded like whatever had passed them by before had come around, and it looked... strange. Where had a deer run so suddenly across a sheet in the middle of the train tracks?! She assumed it could fly as well from its wild climbing up the side, but there it was, running down the corridor.
The corridor she was in. Rather than run, Laiha decided to stand her ground against the creature and lunged, teeth bared and ready to take a bite out of it.
She managed to latch on an take a good gnaw before escaping its awkwardly clamoring hooves and diving away, doing 6 damage.
[[ I personally think it might be lost in the sheet and hitting its head on things? Unfortunately Laiha isn't the most humane. xD -- OH GOD 0 HP WHAT HAVE I DONE]]

As astra was trying to get a good look at these security cards, she was suddenly plunged into darkness, and with a sequel of surprise was thrown throughout the cabin. Her eventual landing position was upside down next to one of the seats.
"Oww...that hurt!" she complained, righting herself and looking up to see...a huge...bedsheet...thing.
Well...that was certainty odd... and now everybody else was now attacking the huge bedsheet thing. Astra didn't know why they were attacking it, but she assumed it was the reason she had been thrown throughout the cabin like a voodoo doll, so she was gonna smack it to!
Thankfully her oak staff was close by, so she picked it up and flew towards the creature in order to give it a resounding thwack over the head

THE PRIZE: Apparently, they just didn't make bedsheet hooved creatures the way the used to. With a small hiss and a pop, the thing was gone, leaving only a rather well arranged assortment of bells, skulls, and holly.

There wasn't even an opportunity to land another strike, the creature evaporating like steam, the sheet fluttering back to reveal an... ornament of some kind? Adelle blinked in surprise, noting the little skulls and the jagged-edged leaves. Holly, she thought it was called, with its garnet berries and prickles. From where she stood, the brass of the bells shone eye-like, slit and round. Strange, but she found herself reaching for it anyway, trying to draw one finger under the loop and pluck it up. Unfortunately, she was beaten to the punch, and she fell back without a fight, still trying to shake off the adrenaline rush that lit her nerves.
