Several crashes simply caused Tsubasa to shiver more. However, after the crashes continued, the girl realized that something could be really wrong. Mustering up what little courage she had, Feather timidly opened one eye and then prepared to look down. Thing was, she didn't need to because at eye-level to her, there was a giant skeleton. "Uh... uh...," the girl stuttered as she felt herself suddenly lifted.

At his summoner's stutter, Sora had finally noticed the Hellbone Titan--before, he had been distracted with trying to comfort Feather--and reacted accordingly. Quickly, the guardian acted as wings once more and took Feather up to a higher point, out of reach of the Titan.

Feather freaked out in the air, {Sora….}
The summon sighed, already knowing what the bard wanted, {I'm on it.} Once more, the guardian tried to communicate mentally with the Hellbone Titan, {Hello? Please, if you can understand, could you tell us why you're attacking? Perhaps we can reach an agreement?}.

The message was relayed to Feather so she could hear it as Sora heard it.

{Sora...,} Tsubasa pleaded, not sure of how to get around this demand.
Sora made no movement and instead focused on building a reply that might have a chance, {Please, allow us to stay for just a bit longer. We must reach the top. After that, we will leave immediately. Please.}

(OOC: Yep, that's basically what we're looking for.)

Well, that was that, really.
{Will being friends with it prove that we're not weak?} Feather asked helplessly.
Sora answered seriously, {No, it won't. Only way past as to defeat it.}
Feather hesitated then began to ask, {Can't we-}
{That'll be no better than enslaving it,} Sora cut through, knowing that the girl was about to ask if taming it would solve the problem, {Yes, we would be able to pass, but only because we've brought the titan under our control.}

Feather quietly but quickly backed off, feeling as if she had touched a sore spot in Sora. Actually, she had. Being the girl's guardian, the small summon knew what it felt like to guard something, and consequently, also knew what she would feel if she had been forced to stop guarding what she had always guarded.

There was a pause. Then Sora commented, {Only way around is to fight it.}
There was a sharp intake of breath from Feather.
Sora ignored his summoner's reaction and continued, {I'll put you somewhere safe, out of reach of harm, and then I'll go and help Haruki.}
Tsubasa hesitated. She wanted to help, badly, but at the same time, she didn't want to fight.
{No excuses,} Sora finished as she quickly rose up and deposited Feather in a portion of the mountain out of the Hellbone Titan's reach.

Leaving his summoner behind, the guardian dived down to where Haruki was and landed roughly on his shoulder as if to signal that the two of them would be working together.

((I just remember something..... you guys still have that "mini paralyzing balls" that Pix gave you? Just want to say that would of been useful for any other you may of faced... but I don't think it will work on this giant bone monster.... It got no skin nor lungs. Don't think the paralyze will work on this undead for not having any nerves. sweatdrop ))

With no respond, The giant bone monster went back stomping. it try's to smash and kick some of the builders over to Harkui to get the little guy squished.

Sora thought momentarily to himself, before realizing, Taking matters into his own wings, Sora dug his claws painfully into Haruki's shoulders to punish him for being so stupid, then hopped backwards a bit. One he was directly behind the Kiranu, the dragon-like summon used all four of its legs to painfully grip onto Haruki's shoulders and middle-back. Then, without further ado, Sora spread his wings and lifted Haruki up. To the boy, the movement would feel like he had just sprouted a pair of wings. Now, all Sora could do was hope that Haruki wasn't so much of an idiot that he'd actually try to fight against him.

If Haruki let the summon do what he pleased, he'd find quite the frightful experience waiting for him. Without warning, Sora dived towards the giant bone monster, not planning to hit it, but to simply taunt it. The summon would easily dodge any strikes aimed at it and then right before impact, would curve out of the way in an effort to get the monster to step forwards to reach him, a step that would also have the monster come closer to the edge of the cliff they were currently at.
