The man who went for the knees released his blade, thinking he would need to scramble to his feet to dodge. He quickly oriented himself in the opposite direction, having his right leg crushed instead of his head or neck. As the man slid away from Raven, his friend was having no better luck. The man shifted his body as well since he expected this to happen long before it did...he wasn't fast enough to get away from the streamlined attack however, taking a severe strike to the arm that stopped him from moving it. The man dropped low to the ground and looked to his partner...the both of them nodded, taking an object from their pockets and sparking it. Both charged Raven with their crippled bodies, planning to take him with them. There was little room to dodge, and the explosions would no doubt be enough to kill if they got their hands on him.

Raven watched as they both moved away from him for a moment only to get back their feet. He could almost feel that these bastards were not done yet. Seeing them both charge at him wildly his berserker side him told him to wait for them to get close unleash the hell fury of punches he had instored but Raven could almost feel something was up with the rushing at him. Breathing in through his nose once they start chaging he would sudden blow out his mouth launching him back out the exit away from them both skidding on the back of his feet as he would watch a explosion go off inside. This was stupid of them not think that he did not go over the whole field of battle before engaging them. Raven would exhale faintly as his eyes closed and turned back to their golden tint. That fight was a bit harder than before that was for sure.

And yet? The battle still wasn't over...despite the regular opponents being cleared out, there was still one enemy left for Raven to deal with before he could count the mission as complete. Originally, there'd been a lot of chaotic noise coming from Ignis' direction, but it was quite for the most part, aside from the occasional person that didn't die from being cut apart, broken in two, or burned alive. This foe was smarter than any of his companions....lying in wait for his second prey instead of actively searching for him. Despite the silence, Ignis hadn't returned...the last sound she had made that could be heard from Raven's distance was one of pain instead of triumph. Something wasn't right.

Raven would start to hear the sounds of pain coming from inside the cave. They were not of their enemy but of ignis. His body had snapped back into gear as his gauntlet would open up enough for were they would slowly taking in the matter from the dead bodies inside the cave to come flowing into each one of his hands and finally into him. Raven would clench his gauntlets tightly as he knew this next part was going ot be something he needed to learn that he as going have to truly focus on more than anything. Bonding off his feet he would sprint into the cave once more this time jumping into the air on to his platform. The platform would break from all the havoc it had seen and broke into a small slab for Raven to start riding the lava down to the main chamber. Quickly slidding to a halt on the slab he would extend his gauntlets outward taking in the lava around him as he stepped down from it looking around the area.

Ignis' greatsword had its edge impaled in to the ground while the dragon herself had a molten scorpion-like tail wrapped around her neck. Being who she was, it didn't burn her, but it was like having somebody choking you with hands twice the size of your head...you could only barely breathe. Ignis looked down at Raven from her suspended height, her eyes widening in surprise. "Get...away from here...!" Ignis ordered, knowing this monster was out of Raven's league. "Ahh, I knew a sensed a strong one! You've made a mistake of wandering in to this spider's web, ancient." Phantom's tail tightened around Ignis' neck, causing her to struggle for breath before he loosened his grip. "Two ample meals in one day...truly, the gods are smiling down on me!" Ignis growled, this beast didn't know who she was if he believed she was just going to let herself be eaten. "R-run...the volcano is...erupting soon. I can take this thing..." Phantom laughed jovially, knowing that if Raven tried to run he wasn't going to make it far...the beast was far faster than him.

Raven looked at this beast before him, his emotionless face had started to form a small smile across his face as he would look at the beast with white eyes once more. Ignis was in trouble and this massive thing seemed to be clearly something out of his league but the berserker slowly started moving towards the massive spider. "Phantom... I have heard of you..." he said softly. "My brothers and sisters have told stories of you and how your power was great...Sad though.." he said looking up with his canines shining faintly." I am going to have to kick your a**!" he said with some amusement in his voice. The thing about him talking to the spider was merely to distract it while 7ft long black steel blade would form right above the tail of this beast. The height and sheer weight of the blade would send it flying down at the tail with enough force to give off an A ranked attack most likely cut off the tail in the process freeing ignis. Right before the blade would drop he glance over at Ignis and gave the faint smirk. "It seems saving you is becoming my job Ma'am" after the sentence would be said the balde would only be a mere foot away from the tail.

Phantom was prepared to strike, but it suddenly felt a sharp sting...this being had the audacity to attack? It roared, being forced to drop Ignis. Ignis rubbed her neck, grabbing her sword and dragging it away from Phantom so she could get some distance. "I told you I could've handled it. I'm not some damsel that needs to be rescued every second!" Ignis held her sword at the ready as the beast channeled its energy in to the ground, causing spikes of pure magma to rise from the ground...Ignis knew this move. It wasn't trying to kill them, but it was trying to bracket them to keep them from getting away. "Don't get yourself caught against a wall." Ignis warned, gaining some air with her wings. She wasn't going to let herself lose this fight in front of Raven...even if she had no energy left for a major attack, she still had enough to fight. The demon's gaze switched to Raven as it opened its mouth and used the same attack it had used on Ignis earlier, spitting pure flame. Even if it didn't hit Raven, the splash damage would take care of him.

"The world is always different through another's eyes." Raven had kept the smirk across his face as the beast had roared at him in pain. The six armed reaper had clenched his fists known the fight was going to get ******** serious really quick. Listening to Ignis comment about her not being a damsel all raven could do is give a faint laugh as he spoke up. "Just remember what I said Ignis..." The attack towards Ignis was his trigger as he had sudden burst under his feet as he started to rush towards the being with his arms bent ready to unleash hell on this massive beast. When the attention had turned back to him he readied himself seeing the beast open up his mouth ready to launch some form of attack towards him. Raven barced himself as he sudden was launched into the air by a gust of wind under his feet sending above the blast only feeling the heat below him as he was launched up high enough to see above the beast. The cracks in his arm was the weak points and he was going to handle those. Snapping his fingers Titianum spikes would form near the first crack on his back and quickly dive down towards the opening with out warning.

When Raven had dodged the first attack, Phantom's attention was re-directed at Ignis. It leapt at her, but she had more than enough energy left to flaunt her strength. The demon had great power, but Ignis was far stronger if she was able to get her hands on it. With one hand Ignis lifted Phantom off of the ground and threw him in to the air before chasing after him with her wings spread wide. Ignis slammed her shoulder in to the demon before spinning her blade vertically, sending a wave of energy that knocked the beast in to the ceiling. When it crashed back down, it slowly got back to its feet, but was still ready to move. The rumbling of the volcano was starting to become extremely frequent. "I know exactly what you said, now remember what I said!" Ignis replied, using her wings to stay far above the spikes. "I've been around more more than ten-thousand years...I don't want to look weak. Certainly not in front of you." In succession, Phantom fired that same flame burst at the both of them again. Ignis dodged hers, but being next to a wall, the explosion sent her to the ground where she landed on one knee. "I think you came a bit late...I can't feel the heat from my flames..." Ignis got back up and put her sword at the ready again, re-engaging Phantom in melee combat.

"The world is always different through another's eyes." Raven as Ignis was beating the hell of the thing in the air until finally sending it to the ground. To be honest the man was impressed by the sheer strength of the woman she got close to it. Listening to her words he would quickly charge up his energy in his gauntlets readying to hit the ******** where it hurt. As the beast would launch the attack at him he would get off the air and start falling to ground watch a glispe of ignis getting hurt. Landing on his feet he would kneel for a few moments before hearing ignis said he had came too late. Getting up from the ground he kept his eyes pinned on Phantom. "Shut Up Ignis!" he would say kind of harshly. Raven white eyes glared at the beast. "Steele yourself and throw away your pride..." his voice kind of softened as he started to speak once more. "Have Faith... We are alone weak..." his voice would sudden pick up as he readied himself. "But together were stronger than this ugly ********!" he roared waiting for ignis to take the lead

Ignis couldn't help but laugh. "You're right...let's give this demon a show." Ignis tilted her blade slightly to the side and let Phantom's pincers slide away from her as she worked her way around to the back. "Pretty words, but what are those good for?" Phantom taunted as he swung around to strike Ignis...his attack bounced right off of her, however. She stared right at him with eyes blazing before stabbing forward. Soundlessly, her attack landed, but as she twisted her blade the sound of air swirling around her would sound throughout the room before blasting Phantom away. Before Phantom even got a few inches away from her sword, she swung the blade around twice as if it were weightless. Her third and final strike sent a burst of energy that sent the beast flying with even greater speed. Ignis had been chipping away at its armor enough to give Raven a huge opening, so hopefully it was enough, she had nowhere near enough strength to do that again. "N-ngh...again? What's wrong with my body...?" Ignis fell to the ground completely for the first time, knowing that if she gave up like this then she was less than pathetic. "Wait...I know this feeling..." It didn't even matter, Ignis created her opening, her part was done anyway.

"The world is always different through another's eyes." The words from Ignis had given him some faith seeing that she believed in his words. Bursting foreword he started sprinting like a mad man at the demon while Ignis started to slash away at the demon's armor until finally she launches the thing into the air with a large gap in its armor. As soon as she feel Raven had slid on his side across the ground wrapping his left arm around woman as he stopped himself using her. Quickly his gauntlet glowed brightly and small cracks could been seen forming from all the energy that he had been pumping it until finally the massive beast started come falling back down towards them. Sudden the ground around them would morph as two massive gauntlets formed out the ground with flat blade formed hands and would priece right through the major gap in the beast. It would come all the way through and both would slowly begin to grip on to its insides and begin to slowly rip it pieces. If this was done both halves would be sent flying in two different directions. Raven would lose his white glow to his eyes as he started to breathe heavily

Phantom exclaimed as it was impaled. To prevent a permanent death, the beast turned in to pure lava and sunk through the floor, vanishing from the battlefield with excessive injuries that prevented him from reforming. Ignis looked up at Raven with dim eyes, keeping enough spare energy to at least warn him. "Again...this is the third time I've caused you trouble. We...don't have any time left at all." Ignis smiled softly, shaking her head only a little bit. "Just...drop me here and run. I can survive the lava...you won't even be able to breathe when this place goes up." Ignis could heal all of this damage eventually, but she couldn't let Raven die...she said she'd leave him behind if he was a liability, and now that the situation was reversed she expected him to do the same. "I'm sorry..." With only minutes to get to a safe place, before this place was overcome, Raven's self-preservation should have kicked in first above all else. The earth rumbled, but there was still more than enough time to get moving if Raven left now.

"The world is always different through another's eyes." Raven watched as the foe before him was finally defeated and started to sink away. It angered him that he could not collect the beasts soul and use it to create more lifeforce. A gentle warmth cause him to start to glance over to ignis with golden eyes. Her first comment had made the man smile softly as he started to keep his grip around her waist."You know what people say... third time is the charm." he joked quietly as he started to get up and gently get her up as well. Listening to her next comment he looked at her with actual concern as he started to look up getting to his feet gently releainf her for a moment. Raising his gauntlet up he would soon gather the energy around him and have enough strength to move out. Moving his gauntlet to her he would use all his strength to pull her on his back and started walking

Ignis noted, wrapping her arms around him. Despite her obvious stature, she was far heavier than she looked...still, Raven was still trying to help her despite how the situation seemed hopeless. Ignis closed her eyes for just a moment...she could hardly thank Raven for what he was trying to do for somebody he hadn't known. The previous rooms and hall began to slowly pool with lava...Raven, however, had already made it far enough away to escape without fear of energy or death. Ignis respected her partner's ability, this surely would've gone a different way had anything changed. The dragon rested her head on his shoulder with absolutely nothing left in her, expressing gratitude and relief. "Idiot..." Ignis muttered with a small smile crossing her face, forgetting about the volcano's coming eruption for the time being.
