As much as Blade didn't care for Klyde, he couldn't help but cringe as Riyo had slammed him against the wall. In silence, he watched and listened, not even sure what to do at this point anymore. However, the mention of her mother made his eyes widen. He recalled the look of terror she had when her mother had called her at Burger King. Now, he had more of an inkling on why that was the case.

"Riyo..." the thief uttered as he stepped towards her and tried to reach out for her arm or shoulder, "You don't have to do this.."

A rather lame attempt to stop her really, but he was rather pathetic for this entire thing. All this time he had the suspicion and while he tried as hard as he could to stop it, he was utterly worthless in making a difference. No matter how he looked at this, he failed hardcore.

Bent-Tail caught the coin and quickly tossed it out the door as requested. In the meantime, Shun approached Mitsu, with the effects of the knee-to-the-groin finally wearing off. He heard Riyo's speech to the side well enough, and if that was the case with her, it most likely was nearly identical for the wolf girl.

As she backed up into him, he went on to wrap his arms around her for more reasons than to try and give an awkward hug. His eyes settled on Desmond with a sense of fury.

"I'll deal with you later," he hissed to the vampire before vanishing with Mitsu in a cloud of smoke, reappearing out in the hall wherever the bloodied coin had landed. Shun didn't let go of her just yet, and he was ready to bolt off with her if he needed to.

As Riyo listened to Klyde halfheartedly try to explain himself, she moved to stand over him, grin slowly returning. "You're right. There aren't. An old friend used to tell me all the time: Actions speak louder than words. I always got mad at him because it cheapened anything I said..."

Pausing, she lifted her foot to his chest and slowly pushed him back to the ground. "But seeing you apologizing after what you did sort of helps me understand what he meant. I suppose I can at least thank you for that."

At the second Riyo felt a hand on her shoulder, she smacked it away. "Look at you, trying to console a person who spews black and cries blood. Bravery or stupidity? I've never been able to tell the difference." Laughing a little, she shook her head. "I don't have to do anything really. I could stop breathing right now if I wanted to. Desire is what fuels us."

Having a seat on Klyde's legs, she motioned her creature over, smirking as it disassembled and grabbed his wrists, holding them down. The ooze on her hand started to move, fingers becoming razor-sharp looking claws.

"Ever wonder what it feels like to bleed out, Klyde?" She asked as her other hand began unbuttoning his tux and undershirt, exposing his bare flesh. "What do your victims feel as you drain them?" A clawed finger moved slowly to the back of his neck, slowly sinking into his skin like a knife through butter. "Lets find out, shall we?"

As Desmond slowly began to notice her change in demeanor, his expression saddened. He wanted to say something to her. Try to comfort her. Hold her. Tell her that things would be okay now.

But it wasn't his place to do that anymore. And that thought, along with seeing Shun wrap his arms around her, devastated him. He didn't say anything to Shun. He simply looked at the ground until they disappeared. Looking at the fingers covered in his own blood, he realized how badly he needed to get out... And bolted. He ran faster than he thought he could just to get out and away. Through the rain and to town, so he could make somebody else more miserable than him.

Mitsu flinched slightly as Shun wrapped his arms around her, the tears running from her eyes refusing to stop. One moment she was looking from her hands to Desmond...and the next she was out in the hallway.

The atmosphere was so much different than that of the locker room, but it didn't help console Mitsu in the slightest. Despite what had happened she couldn't believe she had almost..... There had been so many thoughts in her head at once and all of them involved ending the vampire. She had wanted it too, to see his end....and that thought scared her more than anything.

Crying out Mitsu started to jerk against Shun's hold. "L..let go!" Her crying started to lapse into hysteria as she tried to push away but her strength had already started to go back to normal. "There's something wrong with me!" She cried out grabbing hold of Shun's arms. "Something horribly wrong..." Her words were hard to understand as she choked them out between her tears. The wounds didn't even seem to cross her mind, the shock of the situation overriding the pain.

Klyde didn't know what to say, he had never been great with words and what could you really say when you had ******** up royally? It appeared he had been correct that his words of apology would hold no merit. It came as no big surprise. What did come as a surprise, however, was Blade stepping up in an attempt to stop Riyo from whatever she was about to it. He really didn't deserve that much.....

"R...Riyo?" After she had pushed him down she was suddenly sitting on his legs, his hands bound to the floor. Giving his wrists a tug he found that they were ....frighteningly secured into place. He watched with wide eyes as she started to unbutton his outfit, her words striking a bit of fear. "Wh...what are you going-" But the answer was clear as soon as her black coated claw sunk into the back of his neck with ease.

"Ah!" Klyde clenched his eyes shut against the pain. His thoughts started to race on what she had in mind. Did she plan to take off his head? If that was the case he would find himself very permanently dead. "R...Riyo.." He groaned trying to open his eyes again to look at her. While he felt like he might deserve it the thought of dying didn't sit very well as he started to tug against his restraints. "I..I know I ******** up..." He hissed a little from the pain. "..I'll do anything....to make it up to you..."

"Good question. Caring can do that," said Blade, flinching as his hand was smacked away instantly. Rubbing the back of his neck, he desperately tried to think of something. Attempting to physically pull her back would just end horribly, especially considering she could probably easily overpower him now.

Seeing her start to work at Klyde, he gritted his teeth and frowned. The thief was more concerned with how she may feel once this was all over with rather than how the vampire would turn out. In any case, the guy would probably physically heal alright over the next few days. The same couldn't be said about anything emotional though.

"Riyo," he said more firmly, "Desire's good and all, but what happens later? Will going through with this really make anything better when the dust has settled? Don't.. do anything that's going to end up making it worse for yourself..."

Once the three were gone, Bent-Tail glanced towards Poke before stepping out of the locker room to see Shun and Mitsu further down the hall.

"Mitsu. Calm down," Shun grunted as he did what he could to keep her in his grip without hurting her further. It seemed that she was already turning back to normal here, which would hopefully make things a little easier, "He betrayed you and you snapped. Simple as that. The fact that you're freaking out over it right now just proves that you're still yourself. Now stop squirming; you're bleeding."

Riyo had been grinning at his reaction, at his look of pain. But his words seemed to take that away.

"Look at you. You're saying you'll do anything to make it up to me, but in reality you're just saying these things to save your un-life. You don't care about me or how I feel!" She spoke loudly, her finger trailing down to slash his neck. It wasn't as deep as it would go, but enough to make the blood gush.

And then Blade kept talking. It was like he was a broken record of virtue. The shoulder angel she never had... And it drove her past crazy. Head snapping around to look at him, anger very apparent in her face, the claw in Klyde's neck continued downwards instead of slashing across his throat, stopping just above his chest. "Why won't you just shut the ******** up?!" She asked, her frustration distracting her from Klyde enough to loosen the bindings around his wrists. Pulling her now blood covered clawed finger out, she pointed it at Blade.

"Maybe you missed the bottom line. I'll probably be DEAD when the dust settles. I'll be dead in a ditch somewhere... And nobody is gonna notice. Nobody is gonna say 'My God, I don't know how I'm going to live without her.' or scream and cry over my lifeless corpse..."

And then... Her eyes suddenly became sad. She brought her arm back and held it to her, glancing away from Blade and staring at nothing in particular. "Nobody is gonna come to my grave or write me stupid sealed letters with sentimental nonsense that dissolve with the rain... No flowers to brighten the thick, dark atmosphere... And I've ran out of time to change that."

Looking down at Klyde one last time, her eyes reflected the devastation she truly felt. Standing up shakily, she backed away from the whole situation, ooze dissolving into thin air. "This world... Really doesn't have anything for me." She mumbled to herself, turning to leave. "And I guess... I have nothing to offer this world anymore."

Really, Blade's constant prattling was getting on Klyde's nerves as well, despite how he should really be focused on other things. "Dude...will you just....stop." His eyes grew a little sadder if possible. "Just....stop."

Turning to Riyo he tried to shake his head but the claw in his neck made that difficult. "I may not want to find myself officially dead but that's not why I said it. I really meant -" But she had continued her course across his neck making him yell out in pain. His screams were only silenced it seemed once she slashed across the front of his throat, his mouth filling with blood that was rising up from his wound.

Feeling the hold on his wrists loosen he started to jerk again until he was able to free one of his hands, that hand coming up to wrap around his injured neck. Old blood continued to seep through his fingers to the floor quickly pooling around him as he laid there. He knew he should leave, get the ******** out of there, but he just couldn't bring himself to do it. Riyo at least deserved this much.

Waiting for her to continue he was shocked to see, for the first time, the look of how she truly felt. It cut him to the bone to know he was the cause of that look. To be the reason for her devastation. As she turned to leave Klyde raised up his other hand toward her now that it was free and tried to speak her name but nothing but blood ran down from his mouth. Luckily he didn't have to breath or he would be drowning in it.

Mitsu couldn't bring herself to calm, she wanted to run. Bolt out the door and hide somewhere and never be found. If she ran far enough maybe he wouldn't find her.

Hearing Shun continue to speak there was one word that seemed to strike her the most, her body suddenly going still. "B...betrayed..." Yes, that's exactly what had happened wasn't it? He had betrayed her. Served her up on a platter to a bunch of bullies with far too much time on their hands.

Looking to the burns on her hands and the cuts on her arms Mitsu couldn't help but sob. Her legs started to give out from under her as she curled forward, her hands coming up to cover her face. While her body was returning to normal her mentality was unstable still and would possibly be for a while. "He.....betrayed me..." She repeated in a less than audible manner, the tears running thickly down her face to drip along the floor.

Eyes widening for the moment, Blade stared at Riyo as she shouted at him. He didn't turn away as she continued, at least not until he saw her expression shift. Even then he seemed to not really notice that Klyde's throat had just been slashed.

"No one to remember I've ever existed..." he mumbled lowly under his breath. The words were different but his feelings were quite similar. Hearing her say it just reminded him of some of his own thoughts. Quickly, he shook his head to himself and looked back up at her.

"That can't be true... What about Mitsu?" he asked quietly while stepping towards her again. It was just a whim, but seeing how the other girl had just experienced pretty much the same exact thing here, she could at least cling onto that. Those final words of Riyo's had him worried of what she might do to herself.

"And.. while it probably doesn't mean that much coming from someone that's no more than an aquaintence, I would notice. For what it's worth, I'd mourn. And that's something I would rather not have to prove," he added softly, possibly inaudible.

When Mitsu's legs gave out, Shun tried to catch her while kneeling himself so she wouldn't have just collapsed right there. In the back of his mind, he was frustrated. It seemed he had a poor choice of wording there, but again this just proved that his ability to really console was rather lacking. Grimacing, he decided to just not say anything else and continued to hold onto her.

While not completely comfortable with the close contact, it could maybe at least convey that he was there for her.

Bent-Tail took a few steps forth, but still kept his distance from the two. It was kind of strange to see Shun doing this and quite frankly he didn't even really know that he could show compassion... even if it didn't seem like a great deal even now.

Safe to say...poke no idea what the ******** was happening.

The senior who had her leg had long gone, and once she had entered the room she was witness to one of the most bizarre scenes she had ever seen. She had seen Shuns warning, and for once she had listened and kept her distance. It was hard to take in everything at once. The two vampires being pummeled by no other then mitsu and riyo, who were usually so shy and self reserved. Shun seemed to have things under control, somehow teleporting mitsu out of the carnage and managed to awaken her back to her normal self. As for riyo, she seemed to calm down herself.

She caught Bent-tails glance, watching him retreat from the room, and slowly followed his pursuit. There wasn't anything she could do about riyo and blade, much less be of service to either mitsu or shun.

As for how the hole thing started? she had gathered bits and peices of conversation, but that was about it. Her mind burned for the truth, but for now she kept her mouth shut and kept away from the two as bent tail was doing.

Riyo paused only momentarily as Blade continued to try and be the good guy of the story, not turning around to look back at the situation she'd already left behind. "Sometimes, Blade... Even the most carefully chosen words won't make a situation better." Riyo said clearly, a lack of emotion in her voice. It did, however, remind her that Mitsu was very much in the same boat...

The sound of blood dripping to the floor caught her ears as she took a step forward, a sinking feeling in her stomach. "I hate myself for feeling bad about what I just did to you, Klyde." And with that said, she left the locker room, not a glance back to either of them.

As much as she wanted to go dig herself a hole and lay there for the rest of time, there was something important to do.

Her steps were slow and forced as she moved toward Mitsu's small group of friends, no longer trying to hide how miserable she was.

"Mitsu." Her voice was soft, but obviously unhappy. "If you want me to take you back to the room, then tell me now. I won't offer twice." Because she wanted to go and go NOW. The only reason she offered was... Because she knew Mitsu was in the same boat.

Mitsu didn't hear Riyo approach but she certainly heard her voice. As her tear stained face turned up toward the feline Mitsu raised her burned and bloody hands up as well. "P..please." She didn't want to be here anymore. While Shun's hold could be considered comforting to some degree she really just wanted to go off and hide.

"P..please take me back," Mitsu struggled to get back to her feet so that she could leave with Riyo. They were in a similar situation....so she no doubt knew how she felt. That alone was comfort enough.

Klyde's eyes fell to the floor as Riyo took her leave. He didn't want her to feel bad for what she had done. For teaching him a lesson. Hand falling back to the floor to brace himself he started to push his way up though it was with obvious effort. His own blood was spilling out at an alarming rate and while it wouldn't kill him it would certainly slow him down. Already he was lethargic, his posture unsteady as he got to his feet.

He wanted to go after Riyo, but he knew that wouldn't be the wisest of choices. Instead he looked at Blade shortly with those miserable violet eyes, hoping the thief would be able to offer Riyo some sort of comfort if not Mitsu. He wouldn't be able to do it himself and that thought drove him to stagger his way to the door. He was no use to her now, he was just a miserable a*****e that could only make people's lives hell. And that's exactly what he had in mind for the people in town.

Letting out a sigh as his attempts were rather futile, Blade leaned back against the lockers for a moment. He really didn't know what to do here. Briefly he glanced down at Klyde, not really phased by his physical state of being. He had seen worse and it wasn't like the vampire was going to die here. In fact, he was able to get up and stagger over towards the door on his own.

Making his way to the other door, he stepped on out into the hall where all the others were. Stopping there, he just watched. Over all, he still felt incredibly useless.

Hearing nearing footsteps, Shun's eyes darted up towards the source. Since it had been Riyo, he just stared while remaining where he was, awaiting Mitsu's answer. Hearing the plea, his hold on Mitsu loosened and went on to help her to her feet while getting up as well.

Riyo couldn't help but frown at Mitsu's please, gently reaching down to take her wrist. Perhaps as a comfort. Perhaps to just lead the girl along. Her pace was slow as she continued on her direct route to the room, completely ignoring the rain, or the fact that her dress was unzipped. It didn't matter. Everybody would know by tomorrow anyways.

"You can sleep in my bed tonight if you want." Riyo spoke softly, though didn't even attempt to smile. Riyo didn't like being around people when she was upset. In fact, she liked to shove herself in the darkest, smallest place she could possibly find, away from anybody and everybody...

But this was the first time she had someone else to take care of instead of just licking her own wounds.

With Shun and Riyo's help Mitsu was able to get back to her feet. With a slight glance back at the others Mitsu followed Riyo out into the rain. It was cold but she didn't say a word about it. The numbing effect that it had was rather welcome.

At Riyo's offer she gave a nod, her exhausted emotions vacating her face leaving it rather hallow. "Okay..." She said simply, eyes focused on the ground.

By the time they got back to the dorm Mitsu was soaking wet, her thoughts about as numb as her body. "I really wish I could just....go to sleep...and this would have all been a dream....a bad dream..."

Without a word, Blade watched the girls walk off. He only lingered for a little longer before making his retreat as well. However, rather than going to his room, he made his way to his little hiding area on the roof. There was one spot up there with a bit of overhang so he wouldn't continued to be rained on.

Once the girls were gone, Shun only glanced briefly at Poke and Bent-Tail before looking at the door. The temptation to go hunt down Desmond was there, but he decided against it for the time being. But sooner or later, he was definitely going to come after the vampire for doing this. He wasn't kidding when he told him there'd be hell to pay if he hurt her.

Narrowing his eyes at the thought, he went off to his room.

With a sigh, Bent-Tail watched everything going on before looking towards the ground. This was a rather poor day indeed. And he had a feeling he was going to have to try and keep an eye on Shun lest he do something rash. Shaking his head slowly, he left as well.

Riyo didn't pause to listen to Mitsu's wish, opening the door to the dorm entrance slowly. "Me too MItsu... Me too." If only it were that simple. Then Riyo wouldn't have a problem in the world.

"You might feel a little better physically if you take a bath... If nothing else it'll clean out your wounds." Now wasn't the time to ask about what had happened or why she had scars. That could come... Much later.
