Whatever was going on out there, Mariella was definitely tired of hearing it. It seemed to die down after a moment and the next thing Mariella heard was Mitsuke calling her name, "W-what's wrong?" Mariella asked. Before she got an answer Xiero appeared and explained that he would be leaving, "A-again?" Mariella mumbled after he had left.

  Mitsuke rolled her eyes at Xeiro and waited til he was out of the room to turn back to Mariella. She gave a long, dramatic sigh after her comment. "At least I'm here to help this time?" She shrugged trying to shine some light on her brother's inconsiderate attitude to the store. "But, I was kind of sort of being nosy out there..." She rubbed the back of her neck a little embarrassed but quickly continued. "...and all of a sudden he just started making out with the b***h! So strange..." She shook her head and went after the cookies he had mentioned. She laid them out on the counter and looked over to the donuts.

Xeiro chuckled at the thought of giving the old woman the special. "For some reason, I don't think I'll be giving the special out soon. At least not to her." He tried to make it sound like he was totally getting other offers, but he knew she knew damn well work was the only thing he had been doing since their last encounter. He walked over to the door and turned back to her with a smile, "I hate surprises."
The beach actually sounded nice. He gave her a smirk, "Well, that's a grand ole idea." He added a terrible impersonation of a country twang. "You even get to check out my new wheels, little missy." Even he thought he was taking it too far, now and stopped it at that. "Beach it is." He nodded to her and waited for her to make her way over to him. "Well c'mon, it'll be winter again before you get over here." He didn't really give her anytime to walk to him at all, but couldn't resist throwing that in there. He knew she would even have to admit that going to the beach in the Winter was hilarious. He laughed a little over loudly, but with the shitty day he had it kind of felt good to laugh.

"W-well yes, that's a good thing," Mariella noted. The last time he had left it was just her, this time she at least had Mitsuke to help her out. "O-out of n-nowhere?" Mariella asked softly. Maybe it was just her but suddenly making out with someone while on the job did not sound like the best work etiquette.

Mitsuke nodded happily at first, then more angrily as she thought of the b***h again. "Yes! Out of nowhere! It was quite shocking and quite ridiculous!" She grabbed a basket and began placing cookies into it, followed by a few donuts. She felt like she needed to be doing something since they were now in charge of this establishment. "It's not very professional of him... I don't even think he knows her!" She exclaimed, trying to get it all out to hopefully get over it all. She fixed her shirt, trying to be the more mature of the siblings and began taking the baked goodies out to lay on the counter.

______________Mae walked in the bakery with wonder. The smell of fresh baked bread and other sweets made her mouth instantly water. Her eyes closed for a second to breathe in deeply and slowly exhale. Opening her eyes again, she smiled and took her first step, heading to the counter to order. She tried on her shoe and stumbled forward flailing her arms out to balance herself. Thankfully, she didn't eat it. Her hands slammed on to the counter top and pulled herself together to stand straight. Her cheeks were a bit pink at what had just occurred. She had to breathe a little to relax her nervous from the short adrenaline rush to speak.
"Uh. . Excuse me," she spoke up politely. She wasn't sure if the bakery was taking any orders at the time but she really hoped so. Mae was starving and wanted a fresh hand-made treat for herself.

  //New day right before Mae's arrival 8D
Mitsuke was busy cleaning tables towards the back of the room. She was conveniently staying out of sight and whistling we r who we r. She had a good hip swing going on while rubbing the tables in circles when she heard a soft voice from the front of the bakery. She straightened her back and threw the towel over her shoulder. She began her walk up to the counter with a slight hop in her step, eying this girl hardcore from behind. Once on the other side of the counter, she attempted to put on her peppiest face, and it wasn't very hard. This girl was hawt. "How can I help you, hun?" She gave the girl a wide smile, leaning on the counter slightly. This whole waitress thing was turning out to be really fun. She stood with a smug smile on her face and awaited the girl's response.

Xeiro was happily finishing off the sun cookies for the last day of summer treats. He laid the tray of sun cookies next to the tray of cooling sunflower cookies. He just seemed to feel his best in the summer, and even though it was going away, he was going to make it great. Hopefully, all of the treats would bring in some extra money.
He grabbed both of the trays and walked out into the main area. He gave the girl at the counter a nice nod and placed the cookies into the empty baskets next to the display case. He ventured back into the back to grab the donut basket and brought them back out to sit out as well. He would take al ittle break, see what this girl wanted in particular and just socialize for a bit. He felt he deserved it.

______________She jumped slightly when the woman came out of nowhere to being behind the counter and serving her. Where had she come from? She must have missed her going into the bakery. The girl seemed very happy to be working there and serving her customers. It was pleasant to be around. Mae gave a big smile back. A man came around with a tray of cookies and gave her a polite nod as well. They were so friendly. This was why she loved smaller cities. Everyone was so much nicer and polite.
"Yes, umm. . Well I think I would like some. ." She stopped to look at the displays of treats to enlighten her. "Hmm. . Oh, three brownies!"
She was planning on taking them home and giving one to each her older sister and her younger brother. But what about Micah? She pondered for a minute until she decided that she would just stop at the general store and buy some chocolate for him. I could pick up supplies for our dinner date tomorrow on the lake too.
"Yeah, I think that will be all. Oh! Wait. A loaf of sweet bread too, please."
At this, she began fishing in her pocket for the money to purchase the goods and pulled out a tiny coin purse with a white kitty face on it. In pink letters it read Hello Kitty.

  Mitsuke nodded at the girl's order and walked over to the display. She didn't notice Xeiro or his foot childishly out to trip her. Luckily, the display counter wasn't very far and she caught herself with only a small mouthing of vacuum. She grabbed the little disposable plastic glovey things and slid them on quickly. Gotta be all sanitary and s**t; she then grabbed a mini basket and placed three browning delicately on the bottom. She then ventured to the back to grab a loaf of sweet bread.

Xeiro chuckled at Mitsuke as she fell and walked over in front of the register and smiled at the girl. "Hey there, I'm Xeiro Rameri. It's nice to meet you." He rang her up for the few items. "First timers get a special discount, hopefully to keep you coming back for more." He gave her a gentle smirk and took off 15% of her total and told her the amount with another sly smile. Maybe it was dirty of him to try to seduce the money out of their pockets, but it usually worked so well. A flex of the guns and they were all crawling back for more.

Mitsuke returned quickly and handed the girl the basket, wrapped neatly in plastic wrap. "Please come again." She gave the girl another smile, dropped the gloves into the trash can and went back to cleaning tables and whistling away in the back corner of the room. Thinking only that her brother better give her a ******** raise with all of this nice and peachy bull crap.

______________When the girl went to get her items she seemed to trip over the man's foot. Mae found herself covering her smile and stifle a laugh. After lowering her hand, she bit on her lips to try and stop herself for laughing anymore at her mishap for she did the same them when she came in. She left to the back leaving her alone with the handsome dark haired man. He approached the counter with a wicked smile that reminded her of rock stars she used to fantasize about.
"Hi, I'm Mae Romane. Pleasure to meet you as well."
Mae smiled when he said he was giving her a discount for being a first time shopper at the bakery. For some reason it made her feel special. No! Hey girlfriend, aren't you flirting and talking to Micah? Morals missy, morals! Her smiled faded thinking about her friendship with Micah. Her conscience was right. After paying the due amount she shoved her coin purse back in her pocket and saw the other girl come in from the back with her basket wrapped and ready to go.
"Thank you very much. I'm sure I'll be back for more."
Her eyes went up to Xeiro's smile that gave her chills and then to his eyes. She waved her free hand and turned around to walk out of the bakery. She would definitely return if he was going to be there all the time. As long as she kept to herself. Eye candy, right? No. . It still felt so wrong. .

Xeiro watched the girl walk out, she was actually cute. But, the image of Bela kept running through his mind as he watched her go. He attempted to shrug it off, it's not like they were a thing. He could mess around with others if he wanted, couldn't he? To be honest with himself, he'd hate her to stop coming around. But, he just wasn't ready to slow down. That wasn't who he was, and that wasn't where he was in his life. He watched Mitsuke back in the corner and gave a soft smile, she was becoming a pretty good employee. Anything to keep his mind off girls, he left to go cook up some more brownies.

  //New day 8D
Mitsuke was, once again, scrubbing down table tops. There was nothing better to do in the bakery, after all. ******** Xiero wouldn't let her touch any of the ovens. Not like she wanted to anyway, this place was a prison! She began mumbling her new favorite song. "I may be blah but im pretty blah and SEX in the hair, don't care love that smell! STICKS AND STONES MAY BREAK MY BONES, BUT CHAINS AND WHIPS EXCITE ME!!!" Her hips were swinging as she bent over the last table in the corner. Not having her music today, she was happy with the way her voice reverberated through the bakery. "I like it, like it c'mon! C'mon! C'mon!" She flipped her hair and spun her towel around as she went walking up the aisle to rub down the counter. She wished that someone would walk in for a second, but then realized it wouldn't be proper for her to sing and dance with a customer! They needed to all stay away!!!

Xeiro was sitting on top of a wooden crate in the back. He hadn't baked anything yet. His mind was on continuous repeat of the events that occurred while at the Grindhouse. He couldn't live with himself knowing that the last time he might see Bela would have been while making out with another girl. It couldn't end that way! He was so mad with rage, confusion, and worst of all... fear. He was terrified about the life of the girl he had become fond of. He didn't think that it could be possible for someone as macho as him to fall into the ruse they call love. This was so ridiculous! He had his arms placed on his knees, feeling a rush of panic running through him. He needed to get up and at least bake some cookies or brownies or something simple. But, he felt as though if he moved even the least bit... He'd surely just spew everywhere. That wouldn't be all THAT bad, though. Mitsuke would have to mop up his vomit. But, he just... didn't want to. He needed to no where Bela was. I don't even need to ever touch her again. Just knowing she's alive would mean everything... He stopped thinking at that moment and scratched his head. Had he really mean that? Fuuuuuuck. Xeiro Rameri. Macho man. Lady killer. Sex incarnate... was in love.

Parker stepped into the bakery, a dark figure surrounded by swirls of white snowy flakes. He closed the door quickly behind himself, conscious of the heat in the bakery and the cold, caressing fingers of the winter air behind him. He stamped his feet against the welcome mat and shook the sticking flakes off his coat. He slipped easily out of the coat as he moved toward the counter. He had recieved a note telling him to meet the woman who bid on him here at her brother's bakery. That meant anyone working here could probably tell him who she was. "Excuse me?" He called out, hoping to rouse someone who worked here.
[OOC: Wasn't sure if I should consider it a new day or the previous one with Mitsuke dancing around... I can edit if she is still dancing around. XD]

//Yeah, new day xD
Xeiro was getting all the little goodies prepared and in their little baskets when Parker walked in. He vaguely remembered seeing him at the hot spring, but there wasn't much he could remember from that night. "Can I help you?" He looked up to him before filling another basket with fresh muffins and stopping the hot chocolate. It seemed to be an amazing winter drink, and that meant money.

Mitsuke was fixing her hair in the reflection of a skillet. Sooo classy! She wanted to look nice, after all. So, it was a reasonable solution. She had spent most of the morning working on her appearance, she did have a date after all. She hoped that the guy was attractive... and that he liked to drink! She was hankering for some wine right about now. She heard Xeiro out there talking to someone and her heart stopped. She hopped up onto the crates and waited to see if it was for her.

There was something oddly familiar about... right. The corners of Parker's mouth just barely dipped into a frown. This was one of the men from that waste-of-time gathering in the woods. If Parker recalled correctly, and he did, this was one of the few who had actually enjoyed himself. Of course he had also imbibed enough for three men but Parker couldn't hold that against him. Bakersfield... though that probably wasn't his real name.
Parker gave a nod and moved to the counter looking over all the goodies before turning back to Xeiro. "I'm looking for Mitsuke? The name's Parker."

Xeiro nodded at Parker, "Yeah, she's in the back. I'm sure she'll be out in a minute." He smiled at the man and moved the food to the other side of the counter, so the customers could see it all better. "You must be the date? Take whatever you want. It's on me to put up with her." He chuckled and turned to walk into the back to get a few more cookies.
________________________________
Mitsuke heard Parker's voice and stepped out from the back. She smiled once through the threshold and pulled her hair behind her ear. "Hello there, I'm Mitsuke. You must be Parker?" She grabbed his hand, never being the subtle type and dragged him out the door. "We're gonna go for a walk around the garden~! Sound good?" She didn't even allow him to answer before they were out the door, her arm delicately wrapped around his.
[Exit Mitsuke with Parker to the Garden~!]
