 Liviana's face froze into an expression of shock. "Your family was killed? How awful! Was it during the war? It's okay if you don't want to talk about it," she said concernedly. She gave a smile smile. "But I wouldn't mind hanging out at all. We could get some ice cream in Diagon Alley!" She laughed. "Ice cream in winter." Liviana blushed at the mention of her boyfriend, and played with the stone in her fingers faster.

"Yep during the war my family sided with Voldemort. They were hunted and killed after his demise. I left home after finding out because I wanted no part in his scheme's." I feel lip curl in disgust at the memory.
"Ice cream sounds nice. Maybe we can have Callysto and some other come along just to hang out." I smile. "Ice cream is the best in winter."

As Kage disclosed her tale, Liviana's face grew stony."That's very sad. Most of those who sided with You-Know-Who were just put in Azkaban. I guess it would figure the Aurors would just find half-blooded wizards and other creatures worth killing," she whispered. She shivered. Why did the world have to be so cruel? She quickly changed subjects to ice cream. "Oh, that sounds lovely! Who would have thought? A Ravenclaw hanging out with a bunch of Slytherins!" She smiled. "But chocolate has to be my favorite ice cream! What's yours?"

I nod and then smile. "Well its not like I have anything against other houses. I mean I just got in a fight with someone from my own house moments ago so...." I grin. "I really enjoy vanilla and chocolate together."

"Yes," Livana nodded, "I heard that. I guess feuds between houses aren't limited to just outside houses now." She looked glumly at the rock in her hand. Hogwarts students were meant to celebrate their differences because it made the whole better. Tearing apart what's different was what created things like the war that had killed so many senselessly. She looked up quickly. "A mix, huh? It does change things up when you eat it. Different flavors are nice every once in a while." Why did she suddenly have a craving for ice cream?

"Yea..I hate inter-house fights." I say. I perk up at the mention of more ice cream.
"They taste absolutely heavenly together!" I sigh.

Ashley bubbled with excitement as the hogwarts express screeched to a stop. the doors of the train flew open and she hopped down onto the platform.
"yes! im finally at hogwarts!"

The corner of Liviana's lips twitched into another huge grin. "Have you ever heard of Ben & Jerry's? Probably not; it's a muggle ice cream. It's so delicious! They have more flavors than you could ever think of for ice cream. My favorite of those is called 'Cherry Garcia' Odd for someone who likes chocolate, huh? Though there are chocolate bits in it!" She continued smiling. Ice cream was one of her better childhood memories.

Ashley walked up the path to the castle, eyes wide and mouth open as she took in the scenery. as she kept walking she soon came upon 2 other students. she slowly and shyly stumbled up to them and sputtered "um... hi! my names Ashley, im new here. its nice to meet you!"

I look up to see a new student stumble towards us.
"Have a seat Ashely. I'm Kage Slytherin 6th yr. What house are you in?" I ask.

I say waving goodbye. "Well." I say turning back to Liviana and Ashely, "I have some work to go to so I'll catch you guys later, ok." I say smiling and gathering my things. I'm in a significantly better mood. Stop by the dorm to get some blood and then off to the library.
