Chakra Control [ Medical ] Speed Mai moved from near the entrance of the courtyard, from where she had been training in minor techniques with Dr. Rose, into the actual courtyard itself. She took a moment to peer about and count the people there, but quickly gave up, mainly because none of them seemed all that important. Approaching the rather loud Dr. Rose, Mai looked up to the woman. "So, what's next on our agenda?" [ TvI, I was expecting you to make a post here, but I guess you avoided doing so, and included it in your other post to avoid a very small one. >->;; Also, I want Mai to learn all of the E-D Rank medical techniques she can, as well as the raiton ones. Then she needs to get the water/wall walking done. ] Chakra: 50/50

X- TMT -X ((Pretty sure I didn't break any rules. But if I did, please alert me, anyone.)) Genin can't train themselves, they need a teacher. When training, you do use up chakra for using the technique. When training alone as a genin, if you have gained permission in some way to do so, you suffer a +1 post penalty. And you need to actually have the scroll to learn jutsu from it. And in most cases, permission from the kage to obtain said scroll as a genin. And, not an actual rule, but can you not use both small text and light font at the same time? It makes it almost impossible for some people to read the post. A darker font at the least would be nice.

When training, you do use up chakra for using the technique. When training alone as a genin, if you have gained permission in some way to do so, you suffer a +1 post penalty. ((Kinda figured. I need a teacher! But I don't really see how hard it could be to read. Unless the brightness on a computer is like... super high.))

 Dr. Rose Ikai Otogakure | Profession: Medical | Jounin | Raiton " Want some gum ? " " I'm going to teach you the next technique all medical shinobi should know. " Rose said closing her eyes and rubbing them. ' stupid child, asking me what is next, ofcourse it would be more medical techniques. She hasn't mastered all that she can easily learn yet. ' Rose thought to herself, sighing. " This next techique is called Shiatsu, or Massage. " Rose said smiling. " It is an extremely basic technique that utilizes healing chakra to help work muscles into a relaxed state. such as if my shoulder were cramped, I could use Shiatsu to relieve the cramping. It is commonly used to relax a patient, and neutralize contricting muscular spasms caused by various poisons. It can also be used to reduce muscular rigimortis. " Rose said, making the handsigns to show then to Mai. Now, work out this knot in my back. " Rose said, turning and pointing to a lump in her back. It was an old injury that cramped up atleast once a day, maybe if the kid didn't force too much chakra in, it could prove to be quite pleasant to not have to do it herself for once. Chakra Control [ Medical ] Speed Once again turning on her attentive nature as Rose explain the next technique, called Shiatsu. Seemed simple enough, exactly like every other technique that she had learned so far. Although, she didn't imagine that she herself would be using it a lot, since she wasn't exactly keen on making people feel better, just healing them. A frown once against curled her lips downward when Rose told her to try the technique out a rather strange lump on her back. She wanted her to perform such a small, and useless task? This woman didn't matter to Mai, all she was here for was to teach her, and beyond that, it was likely that she wouldn't need the woman once she had become a Chuunin. But that was still far off, and she would be stuck in this situation for now. It didn't take long for her to begin to go through the hand-signs, performing them slowly three times so that there would be no mistake when trying to 'mend' the cramp on her teacher's back. Of course, even if she did the technique perfectly, she wasn't going to make it a pleasing experience. Mai stepped closer to the red head and performed the hand-signs one last time, placing them near the lump on her back and uttering the name of the jutsu. The molded chakra spread over her hand and touched the lump. It would be nice at first, but then she amped up the amount of chakra put into the technique, forcing the cramp out instead of gently massaging it away. Chakra: 42/50

Dr. Rose Ikai Otogakure | Profession: Medical | Jounin | Raiton " Want some gum ? " " Oh wow, excellent deep tissue! You were a bit soft at first, but you got rid of it rather nicely. " Rose said smiling and standing up. Rose stretched her back, loud cracks coming from it. Rose turned quickly and threw several punches, shockwaves coming off of her fists, electricity dancing in the air. " Ok, next technique is Life preservation. You use it to keep something alive, and blah blah blah, it doesn't work for long after you take your hands away. You also can't really move while using it. " Rose said, staying turned to the side and preforming the techniques. " Also, since you need a patient to use it on... " Rose said looking around for an old teammate. her face lit up as she found one. " Hey! " She said, waving trying to get a man's attention as she took the other fist back into a punching position. " YOU OWE ME! " She said smiling as the man turned and his face turned to complete terror. Rose's fist shot forward, a huge shockwave visible from her fist as it nearly broke the sound barrier. Smiling Rose's punch sent a shockwave directly at the man, along with enough electricity to cause a minor heart attack. " Go, preserve his life while I rest my arm. " rose said, looking at her sizzling hand. She hadn't shot that much electricity out in a long time. ( E Rank )
