There was no way that Nemesis couldn't hear Castor's voice - he had the intonation of a ******** bull elephant seal and it grated on her ears. What irritated her further about Castor was that he might have been right. Okay, so it was probable that he was correct in saying that she should use her attack. But, really, what prevented her from using it on him just to spite the d**k? How dare he try and order her around! That was it, she was going to give him the tongue lashing of a century...

"DECAY OF BREATH!"

But her target wasn't Castor, rather it was that b***h who had punched her in the face, Uranophrane, who was getting way too close to the crystal for Nemesis' liking. If she could take one Negaverser out of the game even for a minute, it would help. So she probably lied a bit about the tooth for a tooth thing. It was more like a jaw for a tooth. Maybe a whole skull for a tooth.

One moment Vanessa had stood, happily sipping on a glass of punch, and the next—something happened, and she spilled what remained of her drink all down her front. Gasping, jaw dropping nearly to the floor with the intensity of her surprise, Vanessa’s golden eyes shone with a curious mixture of wonder and excitement at the events that were unfolding before her.

Her experience with things like balls and dances was pretty limited, but Vanessa was pretty ******** sure this was the coolest one in history.

Everywhere she looked, every direction she turned, agents of the Negaverse and Sailor Senshi were crawling out of the wood work like ants out of a tree. She did not have Azzo’s youma sense, but was familiar enough with the creatures to recognize them. There was danger. There was chaos.

Super Van’s indomitable spirit was, at once, ignited. Vanessa might not have been dressed the part, but hers was still the heart of a hero. Enlivened by the pandemonium, she smashed the end of her glass against the nearest wall, smiled with satisfaction at the jagged weapon she’d just fashioned for herself, and jumped into the fray with an ecstatic war cry.

Gabbie had been enjoying dancing with her boyfriend. She'd been having a lovely, relaxing time. And then the call had come and she couldn't get away from Hammie quickly enough. It was for his own good. She'd already been the cause of too many people getting hurt. Damned if she'd let him join their ranks. Where she found the space to transform, she never knew, but in a moment, Super Sailor Saiph was there and racing for the crystal. Winding up her arm and making a throwing motion, she aimed a tail thrash for the nearest Negaverse officer. She couldn't be sure if it connected, but she knew by the various screams and curses that it was making its way across the room.

Oh well if it wasn't just ******** dandy, of course Castor was here. And Chronos. Wait...were those two of those princess tiara things flying about in the air? What in the hell was going on here?! Maybe in the pandemonium, she could get her hand in his chest where it belonged, and she could (literally) kill two birds with (haha) one stone.

However, something she did not consider was that some clumsy idiot senshi would start using their area attacks over anything and anyone. Hadn't they ever heard of friendly fire? Of course, she'd never attributed Castor to being incredibly intelligent, he'd fallen for her, used her, and left her. Now, Lina was going to get her revenge. The ball flew out again towards the back of his head, her voice ringing out without the technological help this time. "You should worry more about yourself, and less about Nemesis, Castor!" Her heart was proud that Zinkenite and Scheelite had each gotten a hand on the thing. Of course they could be counted on!

Sydney was late, spazztastically late, but she blamed everything on her father. In his lame attempt to do house chores—which he should have just left to Jayden, her and the twins, they were far more experienced in the chore department—had wonderfully decided to throw in her costume into the laundry with the rest of the stinking clothes. Hmph. At least she would be feeling comfy warm in her Reno costume. Final Fantasy was simply too awesome of a video game series.

Adjusting her black satin mask she passed through the doors to find utter chaos. Holy s**t.

It wasn’t like a party overrun with wild teenagers, but with scrambling senshi, youma, and negaverse. Huh. When did all this senshi business take a break? A red glowing sparkle flew into some candlebra and people from all over immediately reached out to snatch it away.

Guess it was time to join. She grimaced. “Now no one’s going to see my snazzy outfit,” Sydney lamented before pulling out her pen to henshin. Her boots loudly clomping against the floor, Sinon willed her legs to speedily leap forward. She attempted to weave through the frenzied crowd, her eyes glued to the item that everyone was vying for.

Hearing someone cry out to use their attacks to stop the negaverse, she robotically complied, aiming her fist at the nearest negaverse she saw. "Sinon White Lies!"

Tallulah came back from the bathroom only to discover all hell had broken loose while she was fixing her hair. What were senshi and negaversers doing here? What was going on? Well, there was no way she was going out there in her Pocahontas dress - she'd never get anything accomplished that way! She ducked back the way she'd come, finding an alcove by the water fountains, and dug her pen out of her clutch. A moment later, Europa bounded out into the fray and began looking for someone - anyone - familiar.

"Themis?" she called, dodging screaming civilians and gobs of ooze being flung by a particularly slimy youma. "Bellatrix?" They had to be somewhere - they couldn't have gone far, that was impossible, there hadn't been time, she'd only been gone for a little while! And all this had happened!

She finally spied a familiar flash of black and blue, and Europa hurried to her teammate's side. "Bellatrix," she gasped, grasping for the other girl's arm. She looked around, wide-eyed with a mix of terror and exhilaration, and asked, "What's going on?"

Unluckily for Torbernite, he did indeed get a fistful of someone's hair. Captain Variscite whirled around and slashed with her knuckle-claws-- it missed due to her also being in the dark dome, but Torbernite felt a cold 'whoosh' past his face.

"You IDIOT, let go of my hair!" The captain tried to yank herself free. "You want a cat fight? I'll give you one hell of a cat fight!"

She reached out to grab her assailant, and, perhaps, the reason she had come.
