Getting down the basics " Pull the laces up first to make sure the shoe is nice and snug and your lances are long enough to tie with" Kishi instructed and she moved her own hands to mimic her words. It was the twin's first lesson in shoe tying and so far things seem to be going well. Both girls were paying attention and seemed pleased with the idea of getting out of velcro shoes and into something slightly more complicated but more sophisticated looking footwear. Grey eyes watched the girl's briefly as Kishi checked to make sure they were following along without problem, their small hands not slipping off the thin white laces. " Ok now cross the laces like this" She demonstrated " and tuck one lace under the cross then pull it snug but not too tight." Kishi didn't want the girl's shoes tied so hard they were practically molded to their feet, plus getting the laces undone again later would be harder if the shoes were tied particularly tight. Fifteen minutes and several retries later resulted in two pairs of lopsided and sad looking tied shoes. they weren't perfect but they'd hold and that was the point. Kishi personally would have liked to try again but the girls were starting to get bored and agitated. For now it was best to end on a positive note. " That's great girls, no more velcro for you and you don't need any help from me. since you tried hard and didn't complain do you want to go out for some icecream." Sari grinned "Yes please" Sidra nodded enthusiastically " Lets go see George." George, the local ice cream shop owner was a very friendly older gentleman and always liked to ask the girl's what they were up to and how they were. It was benefit in living in such a family oriented community. Today the old man's natural show of interest would allow the girls to show off and feel proud as well as reward them for a job well done. Not to mention that a small deviant part of Kishi felt that she deserved a reward for getting through the lesson without losing her cool. Teaching was a lot harder than it looked, even when the pupils were your own children. Still , Kishi loved the girls and she knew that one day she'd be proud of all the things she had taught them. Ads two pairs of small hangs navigated the tricky work of the zippers and buttons on their respective jackets she couldn't help but smile and think that they'd already come so far and that each day was just another new lesson to be completed.

Extended Sabbatical ( rp with DG)
" Just because I'm independent now doesn't mean I want to be alone" Kishi muttered to herself as she scrubbed furiously at at a greasy pan. it wasn't fair, yes Kishi wanted to prove she could be a mature and independent teen but still, she hated feeling abandoned. Sure her father was still there but he was busy often with work or Gila nd Del who still needed his attention more than she did. she didn't want to burden him. Zah, her best friend ever had practically dropped off the face of the earth and that had gutted the young woman. He was her best friend, greatest confident and the one who'd sworn to help her through the troubles she faced now as maturing succubus yet now he was nowhere to be found. For all that they had never been close Kishi still missed the possibility of having even Ianna or Kay to lean on. She needed someone to fall back on and no one was there. Everyone she knew growing up was either gone or too young to be of any help. Now even Rouge whom Kishi had come to trust , and admire over the years seemed to have left her. It hurt, like Kishi was repelling people away and she didn't know why. She understood that everyone had lives that didn't revolve around her but dammit she was supposed to be included in them not just a random occurrence. Kishi felt weak she needed people . Thier support, company and love to survive it pained her to admit it to admit that she couldn't make it on her own especially when everyone else seemed to be doing fine. " I'm fine, it's just hormones" She ground out through gritted teeth trying to convince herself as she struggled with one last patch of caked on grease.
Almost inaudible, a knock at the door sounded. Outside the door, a woman in a deep red cape, with only slightly visible skin, that seemed to have a green hue, stood awaiting Kishi’s answer. The visitor had grave information, a proposition, and news for the young woman that might just bring her out of the hormonal, emo stupor she found herself in at present.
" I got it, I got it" Sidra squealed as she jumped up from the living room floor and raced towards the door. Greeting visitors was always fun for her and the young girl wondered who might show up today. She flicked flicked the lock and twisted the doorknob as she yanked the door open. " Hi"
The visitor smiled, the only part of her face visible under her velvet hood being her mouth so that was obvious. "Hello, Sidra. Is your mummy around? I’d like to speak with her." The girl intoned softly, not mentioning why or how she knew the child’s name, or who she was. "It is a private matter, so I may have to come in and wait for her if she is not, and if she is, I shall have to come in to speak with her."
Drying her hands on her skirt Kishi walked out of the kitchen and into the living room. " I'm here, who are you and what is it that you want?" Kishi couldn't begin to guess who this stranger was or what they wanted. Still they seemed polite enough and if they meant her harm the simplest thing to do would have been to grab one of the girls and use them as a hostage. Never the less Kishi was on guard, whoever they were clearly knew who the twins were even if they didn't know them.
"My name is Feejhu. I have been sent by one who cares greatly for you, whom has been befallen by a time of great suffering and pain. It is not my place to say all of the troubles, which do beset the red queen, upon her royal ship. But she does wish for you to come to her, you and your little ones, to live in hiding for a time in a place where you shall all be safe. The barrier between worlds is still strong, yet she knows your will is not. Should you break, should you bend, hope will be lost. She wishes not to leave you alone, with no love, no friendship. I come to bring you to a place what will aide you, and do so in the deepest of secrecy. You will be unable to see your family fulltime for a while, should you and your young ones join me. But you should be in a better position than you are now, and that could prove better for you in the long run."
Kishi raised an eyebrow at the one that called themselves feejhu. She was pretty positive she'd understood most of what was being said , she was also positive that it would have been said in a hell of a lot more concise way. That however wasn't the point, the point was that she'd just been faced with a lot of stressing information and a major decision. Her tail twitched in agitation as she took a step back " Please come in and sit for a few moments, I need time to think bout this." She needed a hell of a lot of time to figure out what she was going to do now, though she had no doubts that she wouldn't be given as much time as she wanted.
"I will give you as much time as I can, but we must be cautious. The Royal Ship must border an area what is not safe for it so that I may come here to bring you this news, this proposition. We must return before too long, lest our enemies know of the truth, know what is happening."
Kishi sighed and rubbed at her temples " I. this is.. Is she ok? is she hurt?" Kishi was not thrilled with the concept of uprooting herself and her family but if Rouge was hurt she didn't want to leave her friend alone and suffering. Besides Feejhu seemed to be implying that rouge wasn't the only one in trouble" and the girls are they in trouble if I stay here?"
"No true danger, besides that which may befall you, unrelated to their own lives. Better for them, though, to be among their own people. Better to actually talk to people from their own wo-oh good, that bloody spell is off now. Sorry about the vagueness of my earlier statements. I was practicing magic before I was sent to find you, and I accidentally made a few mistakes with my ingredients, resulting in a spell that made me talk all funny."
Kishi was tempted to laugh at feejhu's last statement but resisted. after all this was a rather serious conversation." What danger exactly am i in? Unless you're referring to the unlikely possibility of an ancient earth demon deciding my existence is worth them personally coming after me for." Kishi had no desire to face the one known as Lilith but then again she didn't really expect the fabled demon to interfere in her life.. again. Sidra and Sari bored by the older people talking went back to watching an episode of Dora the explorer and her fantastic map that always knew where to go.
"Well, I wouldn’t know anything of ancient earth demons. But if it were so unlikely, you would not have even brought it up, lest you be subconsciously worried. If an ancient earth demon is after you, it would probably be a good idea if you didn’t remain here, as your daughters are necessary to the future of another galaxy."
Kishi frowned, she couldn't exactly argue with feejhu's logic. it was just all so worrisome what if she left home and her father needed her? what if Zah came back and she was missing? what if taking the kids away from here stressed them out by taking them away from all they'd ever known.. on the other hand if staying here put the twins at risk she couldn't take that chance. Besides Rouge needed her, wanted her and was genuinely worried about her,. The older woman was important to kishi and she couldn't very well turn her back on her. " I'll go we'll go. I just need to call my father first and warn him we're leaving for a while and ..pack I need time to pack." she needed to pack and explain to the girls that hey were moving for a while. she needed to assure herself that this was the right choice. she needed a drink.
Feejhu nodded and smiled, she understood that much. "I shall assist you then, if I can. That might speed things up a bit. Like I said, we haven’t much time, but with both of us, we could possibly do it fast enough." It took a while, but soon enough Kishi, her children, their pets, and their things were in the teleporter room of the Samadueanna. When the arrived, Feejhu removed her red cape, revealing her body to be of a lovely hue of green, bearing six arms-two pairs of normal ones with extraordinarily long fingers, and the other two large branches that bore small golden apples. The goddess led them through a doorway, that due to Anna’s magic, opened into the hospital wing. In there, a tall pink haired man was giving an eye test to a woman with short spoked blonde-brown hair, whom currently had an eyepatch lifted up upon her forehead, revealing the scarred over area that had previously been the location of one of her lovely blue eyes.
Sasha smiled gently. "Yes, looks like it is at least scaring over neatly. You should be fine with just the patch from this point on. There will be no need for bandages anymore, Rouge." He told her. "But now I need to check over your other injuries."
On closer inspection, Rouge’s entire right arm was splinted up, with a leather glovelike thing over them, to hold the splint and bandages in place. Her legs were also badly damaged, the robotic aides she’d been using revealed when her knee-high black boots were removed. The bandages were still in place, so Kishi could not see the extent of her friend’s injuries fully, but she could at least see where they were. The older woman turned and smiled over at Kishi. "Thank you for coming. I’ve missed you." She said softly, her voice a little raspy from disuse, and the shot she’d taken to the throat. (done)
Kishi's stomach which had been feeling queasy to begin with rolled at the sight of Rouge. Clearly something horrible had happened and Kishi couldn't imagine the pain she must have been in. The young succubus's only consolation in all this was that she'd clearly made the right choice, Rouge needed her help. " I.. You're welcome I've missed you too." Holding tightly to the carrying case containing laird Sidra stared up at Rouge in confusion. The girl was aware that the woman was injured but she couldn't figure out why anyone would want to hurt her. Rouge was one of the nicest adults she knew " You should kiss her better." She prompted Kishi." After all Kisses made all of her injuries better. Sari merely watched them all silently her violet eyes filled with something inexplicable.
Sasha, whom had been checking the stability of Rouge’s bandages nodded curtly. He laughed mentally at the comment about kisses making things better. Actually, there was a time when Feejhu, and a few other goddesses, had been able to do such things as healing with a kiss. Kyindera-Feejhu’s goddess self-had never really needed to use such powers, her apples being good enough, but in some cases, it had been used as for affection. This made the butterfly winged man thing a bit about whether or not the goddess of healing would be reborn. That would certainly be pleasant. His patients always seemed to be in really awkward conditions, and having a goddess looking out for them, besides one who could bring them back from the dead, would be mighty helpful. (ND)
Rouge was a stubborn woman. Feejhu would have tested her young golden apples in an attempt to restore the blonde, whom was like another mother to her, but she had been forbidden to do so. Something about battlescars being something worth talking about, and using goddess magic for something of this nature was unnecessary. Plus, the woman had told everyone she liked her new outfit much better, and the eyepatch would bring the space pirate reputation some nice talk. Though that may have just been to reassure them, but you never knew with Rouge. With an impish grin, she turned back to Sasha for a second. "Tell me, Doc, am I allowed to take the bandages off of this one yet?" she said, indicating something on her upper left arm that didn’t seem half as serious as her other injuries. When he nodded, an amused grin on his face, she removed the bandages to reveal a fresh tattoo. It was a Spade with bat wings and what looked like a thin line connecting from the bottom of the spade to the side, like it was a strangely drawn devil’s tail.
"You are not the first patient I’ve had who has said something like, oh what was it ‘Yanno, I’m in so much pain right now, I think I’ll just get a tattoo here and now since I probably wouldn’t notice it over the other pain, and I’d probably be able to deal with the care of it fresh when caring for my other injuries’, I hope you know. That either says something about your character, or my clientele." The pink haired man laughed.
