Laughing quietly at his response, she wasn't at all surprised. "I do remember that about you." she sounded amused, and it seemed there was little this woman wouldn't find amusing. Looking up as two students entered with plates piled with food and two glasses of wine, one with blood she assumed, she smiled faintly. Ah, food. It smelled delicious, and she was sure that she would not be disappointed with the taste. As Imhotep had said, he only had the best. As a woman of class and taste, Nabire certainly preferred the best as well. Moving to seat herself in one of the chairs, she waited patiently for the vampire lord to sit as well.

Imhotep smiled and walked over to Nabire's side before pulling the chair out. He then pushed her in once she was seated. He then walked over to his chair before sitting down. He's steak was as rare as it came. "I do hope you enjoy your meal. If you don't I'll make sure the students keep doing it until it's to your satisfaction." He told the woman with a smile. He would do it too. He wasn't afraid too.

Allowing the man to go about his gentlemanly gesture with no objection, she smiled in response to his comment about the food. "I'm sure it will be perfect." she reassured him, as she was quite sure that no student would dare serve him nor his guest food that wasn't absolutely perfect. He ruled the dungeon with an iron fist, and while he had also made it clear that the students were under her command as well, she wasn't naive enough to believe that they would so much as consider crossing the Egyptian even at her orders. Not, of course, that she intended to cross the man herself. Picking up her knife and fork, she sliced into the meat to find that it was, indeed, perfect.

Imhotep smiled at his guest as he sliced his own steak up. He did them in thinly slices so he could saver the taste of the dish. He chuckled. "It's too bad that I scare off all the ladies. If I chose to settle down then whom ever I marry would be queen of the dungeon." He joked. He didn't want to share power with anyone. "Or at least my mistress." He corrected himself. There were two ways to go about it.

Slicing his steak into chewable pieces, she popped the first into her mouth; it was warm and juicy, the taste just right. Swallowing, she stifled the desire to laugh at his statement. He certainly was an intimidating man, even though she herself didn't fear him. Still, she could see the honesty in his statement. "Ah, marriage. It's certainly changed over the years." she was originally what was now referred to as Turkey, the main religion of which is Islam, though she outdated the religion itself, though the Islamic approach to marriage was what she was most familiar with, though she didn't subscribe to the religion. "Not exactly my cup of tea. Far too restricting for one of my... persuasion." though she was only half succubus, she fulfilled multiple stereotypes for the race quite well.

Imhotep smiled and nodded with a though. Marriage had certainly changed since he was created as a human. He was of course then again it depended on the place and the culture the differences that would pop up. "I agree it's too restricting. I rather have a harem if I could." He agreed.

Allowing herself to laugh this time, the notion of a harem was an amusing one in her opinion, especially considering a few past experiences with various rulers. "A harem sounds nice. I wouldn't mind having one of my own." a faint purr slipped into her voice, as if she was genuinely considering the idea. She had had her fair share of harem experiences, and she wouldn't mind having one of her own, so long as each individual involved had their own personal charm. Actually, it was a rather intriguing idea, if she didn't think about all of the money and maintenance such a thing would require. Not exactly worth it, on second thought, but still an intriguing idea.

Imhotep once had a harem of his own when he was still mortal. Then he was changed and buried as a god. He didn't have one any more. He was sure that his children from his mortal live were vampires as well. "A rich man's dream. I'm afraid my fortune was lost in Egypt. I now am forced to do such a trivial task. We both know my skills and knowledge could best be used else where."

Giving a small shake of her head in sorrow, it seemed she had lost quite a bit as well. She had lost quite a lovely assortment of baubles and gold after she had had to flee after the Veil Wars, but many of her bank accounts and secret stashes had remained mostly untouched. She secretly doubted he wasn't a rich man, there had been thousands of years to build a new fortune and he had remained there at Reeds long enough to amass a decent amount. Not commenting on such, she continued to eat for a few moments as she considered his last comment about his skills and such. "Well, it isn't as if you aren't lowering yourself to teaching standards for a reason." she pointed out, giving him a slightly expectant glance. Surely he remembered why he was here.

This woman knew him every well. There was almost no double in his mind that she was indeed his companion during the Veil Wars. "I guess you're right." He agreed to her comment. He took a sip of his wine. "I can recruit here and it gives me a good place to hide." He told her his positives. He had servants and besides a little teaching he pretty much lived in the lap of luxury.

Of course she was right. When wasn't she right? The last person who had told her otherwise had been found a week later with his throat torn out. Smiling faintly, she chose not to comment on such. Instead, she sampled her wine; it was slightly sweet, just as she liked her wine, and set it aside carefully as she turned back to her plate of food. "It's rather nice cover. Which is why I decided to take some for myself." she admitted, though that was only part of the reason she had chosen to attend the school. After all, she wasn't going to put up with a bunch of kids all day most days for a little cover that she could easily get running around in her other form in her home country.

Imhotep at some of his meal while he listened to Nabire talked. He savored the flavor of the meal like any gentleman did. He didn't need to eat food, but eating kept him sane. The man let out his classic chuckle. "Why my dear. You'd take my minions from me." He teased. "Maybe I can give you some of the best to start with." He added offering her some good help to start with her recruiting.

Feeling she had been misunderstood, she set down her fork long enough to take another few sips of wine. "Oh, I don't want your minions. A minion with two masters is a minion with split loyalty." split loyalty was not something she would stand for, and so if she wanted her own agents, she would recruit them herself. Imhotep had been the perfect host and provided her with everything she might want, but this was something she would have to handle on her own. It was rather convenient that he had ordered his little toys to obey her commands, but they were still not ones she would trust to carry out any secret orders. Her missions needed to be secret even from those within her own organization, and even she wouldn't be getting the full picture.

Imhotep nodded his head. "Ah true enough." He agreed. She was right that she would need her own minions sooner or later. She could use his forever. "Then please allow me to assign you one vampire to help you find some. She is a most poisonous child who will attend to your ever need until you can grow your own army."

Resisting the urge to side, she gave the slightest nod of her head. "I will gratefully accept. Thank you." she could always rid herself of the child later, but for now she would be a good guest and accept the offer. He would likely insist, and she didn't want to raise a fuss over something. She would indeed grow her own team, though she wouldn't do much with her new pet except perhaps send them on a few seemingly important errands now and again. An army might be a bit much, she was a spy not a warrior, though the thought was tempting.
