Ceri knew this ally way. She pulled Rincewind through a small door to the right. "Shhh! this is the back to a bakery...The owners are friends..." She lead him through the back, and out the side door. She then took off to her home at the outskirts of town, in the forest by the river.

"Th-thank you." Rincewind said, quietly, still following Ceri. He had always seen Ceri as an older sister, or the closest equivalent to one he had.

"Don't wory bout it, kay? You know me, I'd do anything to help," said Ceri, looking over her shoulder. She smiled. ONce they got to her house, she ushered him in, and locked the door behind her. "Mala will use the back door," she said, turning to look at him,

"Dammit all, where the hell did she go?!" Van and Riley tried desperately to keep up with Mala to no avail and wound up getting split up by the thick crowds.

Ceri shrugged. "I'm used to it, so don't bother," she said, addressing the demon.

Mala looked about, spotting Riley first in the crowd. She kept her gaze on him, waiting for him to get out of the crowd before she would try to make contact with him. For now, though, she stood tall atop the tall building with her arms crossed and a slight look of annoyance on her face.

Riley eventually spotted Mala standing on a rooftop and adopted a look of minor shock. "Hey Van, I think I found Mala..." he said tugging on his friend's shirt before subtly pointing up at the roof.
"Huh. Guess she's been practicing." Van said waving slightly up at her.

A grin formed on Mala's lips as she motioned for them to come to her, to get up when they could. She definately had much to explain to the two.

"Wait...She wants us to get up there...? Er, I'm not as good with the whole free run stuff like you two. Maybe I should just wait down here..." Riley said before Van yanked him along.
"Then we'll make sure to work on that later. Now stop being a wussy and come on." Van said dragging Riley along by the collar of his shirt to an alleyway where he stopped. "This was so much easier when you were a kid...!" Van said picking Riley up under one arm and wall-jumping his way up to Mala. "You rang?" he said as he dropped Riley.

"Yeah. I just pulled a really really dumb stunt trying to rescue this poor soul whose been possessed by a demon, so now I'm a fugitive. We should get the hell out of here. Like, now." Mala explained, getting straight to the point. "I've got a friend outside of town who helped in the act. She's coming with me. She's worth her weight, though, since she's a better white mage than I ever was."

"We sit and wait.....And hope that no one recognized me..." said Ceri, looking out the windows. "There is some bread and cheese on the counter....You can have it if you want..."

"Glad to see you've become more impulsive. Shame you had to do something that's made you a wanted girl in the process." Van said as he headed for the next rooftop, planning to take the upper road of town rather than deal with the crowds.
"Possessed by a demon? At least I can relate to the guy..." Riley muttered as he looked over the edge of the roof, wondering whether or not he could make the jump.
