Emerging from the woods, strange dark enchantations bellowing forth from her mouth, Leiche takes a stand against the werewolf. A dark energy spews from her mouth and then entire body bursting several yards out in all directions. scream "Begone foul beast, your hunger shall not be satisfied this day!" Leiche sternly motions the werewolf to depart into the woods. whee "Bad doggie!!!"
"Well, well... what have we here? wink A cute little boy with a pokey, and a limber little lady with some serious skills, though maybe a bit crude! heart I love you two already, though you two should be more careful and not let a wee goblin like that scare you stiff, theres far more scarier things on this island. question How is it you came here anyway... visitors are not akin to this island?

Taking a stab at the wolf, Nalani hears a sharp voice coming from the woods, and in a short time, sees a young woman. The raven-haired girl looked as if she had never seen the light of day, her skin a pale alabaster. She was almost albino looking, save the typical red eyes of such creatures. Perhaps she was of the undead variety, the girl thought to herself.
Surprisingly though, she was quite friendly. Nalani hadn't been expecting her to love heart them so immediately, let alone give them "the wink." Examining the young woman further, she saw no weapon strapped to her, and wondered if she had something hiding underneath her cape. She hadn't gotten the most friendly welcome to this island, and she had been on her guard since meeting Tempesti. Keeping her weapons drawn, Nalani spoke up, responding to her.
"Who are you?" she asked. "Did you send those creatures after us? You must have been the one who set that trap. So very clever you are. You've taught me a valuable lesson today though. I need to examine my path more closely next time." She paused, smiling. "I'm Nalani." Shifting the sword in her right hand to her left for a moment, she shoved her hand in her pocket to confirm her suspicions. Pulling out the disc Oceas gave her, she peered through it, looking at the girl once again.

As Nalani peers through the lens, she sees no aura from this girl that would mark her as undead, and therefore, cannot know whether she is a creation of geldrei or not, rendering the lens in this situation, useless.(its only useable on undead)

Displeased with such brash responses Leiche smile starts to fade. Staring directly at Nalani, Leiche scowled and said stressed "Such accusations, I should leave the two of you here... you would learn this island is the trap. Such disrespect... even after I cast aside the beast attacking you. With an injured companion, I would think you might approach this situation positively." Turning to the boy with a much kinder face... 4laugh "Come now sweetie, why would I want to hurt you? With soo many dangers lurking about this island... many beyond your sight I suggest you take your friends where you can find them. As for your wounds, It looks like a night of rest would do you good. I can bandage you to help the recovery process... I know my share of anatomy. Though I find it strange to care for one who I do not even know the name of..."

Nalani just chuckled, an amused grin crossing her face. She hadn't been expecting such a verbal bitchslap.
Her expression then turned serious. "Well, miss...No offense to you, but I just wanted to know who set the traps. Seeing as how you're the only one here that looks remotely human, I could only assume it was you.
Hey, you'd probably be on your guard too if you were in my situation. Imagine a monster coming after you while you're paralyzed. I'll bet you'd have a similar reaction. I'm just watching out for my own life, and that of my friend Coud here," she replied, giving Coud a shoulder to lean on.
"You'll have to forgive my harshness. I've lived on an island all alone for many years now. My social skills aren't quite up to standard...obviously. My apologies. What did you say your name was?"
Pausing as she talked with Coud, Nalani listened to her more intently, suspicious of the woman. Why was she so friendly? It seemed strange...
And if everything on this island was a trap, was this strange girl a snare as well?

"Forgive our impudence miss! My apologies! I am Coud Edeilstein from Omaca, and this is Nalani SomethingOrOther a shipwreck survivor of 15 years on the nearest island to this one... I thank you dearly for stoping that wolf's attack ~ it's likely you've saved my life... if you weren't so in control at the moment, I'd offer my services to you... but as it is, I feel a tad inadequate to do anything for you... of course I'm willing to offer any assistance that I could be of to you in any way Although I don't know of what use I could be to you currently...
Would you be so kind as to tell me my savior's name?"

Sorry Korr, but its been sometime and I have to impose divine DM rite of moving story along. She smiles to Coud and answers, "Leiche." As she finishes her name she turns to Nalani, giving her a look of discontent. "If you two would follow me, I'd hate to keep my master waiting any longer."She leads you through the thick forest of the island, taking you deeper and deeper into the interior. Eventually you find yourself walking on a narrow game trail and occasionally you catch glimpses of flying eyes and undead birds. If Nalani chooses to check these things with her lens, she will see that they are indeed all creations of Geldrei. After a couple of hours of walking, a towered keep comes into view.

The stone keep seems to be made of a very black, volcanic stone you'd guess, but aren't sure and the one tower is of considerable height. Lorea and a man wearing bone armor, his left arm being completely skeletal are seen waiting at the gate. Before you draw to close, Leiche tells you two that the man is Geldrei and to show him all the respect you can muster.
