The brute strength from the man's punch sent a jolt through Jims body, then was struck in the face, he pulled out the last throwing knife he had and with all of his might, lanced it and struck the man in the head, he stopped and backed up a bit, he pulled it out and then began to shudder uncontrollably, he then pounced onto his former comrade, and swiftly killed him, then soon after, he was also brutally murdered by his own leader. "Mr. Freeman, don't think I don't know your weakness, your friends are invaluable to you, which is why i'll let them all go, for a price... You become my newest expirement."
(goodnight, i'll try to wrap this up sometime in the evening.)

"The hell with that, don't listen to that a**." Nix said as she swiftly moved and shot the man holding her and grabbed the man in the coat holding the hot barrel against his head. "I'll make an experiment out of you." She shot the man in the head and let his dead body drop. She wobbled over to Jim and put her hand on his shoulder. "Don't dare agree to what he said."

"Come any closer and i'll purge this city and all of your friends," he said holding a detonator. "Now let's try this again, will you help me?" Jim was frantic, deciding what to give up, his friends... or his own life...? "Nix, i'm sorry, but I'm gonna have to agree with him," and drops his guns to the floor... "Over MY DEAD BODY!!!!" and throws a tranquilizer dart into his neck, paralyzing the fool.

Nix ran over to the guy before he could press the detonator and took it in her hands and kicked the guy off. She felt a slight pain on her side and fell on her knees. She looked down and pulled out a needle..."That bustard got me...." She muttered and looked at the detonator and quickly dissembled it so it would no longer be dangerous. Now she had to figure out what he injected into her.

The man in the lab coat was carrying a shot needle with some blue liquid in it... "Is this something different?"

Nix looked through the man in the suit and found the orange liquied in a shot needle and tossed at Jim. "The cure should be in there...we have to figure it out though..." She felt slightly dizzy but tried to stay calm. " I don't know what the blue liquid is for..."

Noticing that Nix had lost some of her strength from the man's attack, he went over to help her out, "c'mon, were both getting out of here alive," and hoisted her arm over his shoulder and began to head for the door.

Meanwhile... We have got to get to the other side fast... God knows what's happening to Jim. Echo muttered to Adora and the others. She tried to reach Jim in his radio, but no response. Where are you? Why did you just leave like that? she muttered in frustration. Then, with only the static from the radio, there was odd groaning coming from the left. Echo froze but slowly turned around. That doesn't sound good. Let's move.

Nix nodded and was glad the blood stop. Now there was only dry blood on her face. She felt her her left side start to go numb...perhaps because of what the scientist injected into her.

As the two survivors climbed the endless stairwell, they shot a few stragglers on the way, but each step was another painful struggle, as both were injured. At last, they breached through the entrance and managed to enter the car. "Alright, we've got the antidote, but now all we need is to get to that chopper and escape this nightmare." Jim spoke with what strength remained, "Echo? can you hear me?"

"Right..." Nix said as she sat down on the passenger seat. She felt her stomach churn and she stuck her head out of the window and threw up...unfortunately it was not bile, but blood.Something was defiantly not ok..that blue liquid...what was it doing to her?

For a moment, Jim sat in silence and felt guilt for leaving her alone, he reached back and pulled out a canister of pure titanium, that was filled with liquid nitrogen that he had kept for a while, and poured some of it carefully into a bag of water, and sealed it, creating a cold, firm object, "Here, this may bring down the temperature and help suppress the possible infection, but we need to get you to Chris and find out what was injected into your body." Jim spoke gravely.

Nix took the bag and put it on her forehead and shut her eyes that were no longer sliver but began turning red.

"Um i suggest we hurry," Nix said as she showed him her left arm slowly beginning to turn blackish.
