Why have you come: Kai is a split personality schitzo, whose been living on the streets his entire life, running away from society and their constant desire to stick him in an asylum for the mentally insane. He knows he'll only go crazier if they stick him inside a box, and he lashes out at society by taking their lives. He's taken a job as a contract killer, given assignments by a mysterious man he just calls boss. Recently, he thinks he's being betrayed, as some other assassins have been trying to take his life, and now he's on the run from more then just police, and the family of the victims he's killed in his psycho state
Skills: Weapon of choice is a poi blade on a heavy chain. I can disappear into the darkness of shadow, or into a crowd
Enemies: CIA, FBI, Jason Devimez
Why: well, for one, i'm an insane criminal serial killer, and my crazy side killed jasons older brother, and ever since, he's pursued me relentlessly for revenge, which is extremely annoying, cuz he always finds me from time to time

Out of the shadows of the alley where the back door emptied into, Kai slipped into the open, chuckling, almost maniacly at Merry, his hands in the front pocket of his hoodie, his one white eye glowing in the moonlight. "Little jittery tonight miss?" he asks, tilting his head creepily to the side. "What do you have to be afraid of? seems like you can handle yourself pretty well with a cannon in you hand."

Merry sniffed as she looked the newcomer over; strange-looking but probably harmless. "The air is stiller tonight and it tastes of stale blood and rain. I have reason to be jumpy." She said, leaning back against the brick wall and pulling a cigarette out of the side of her boot, and a lighter from the space between her breasts. It was her last cigarette, and she intended to enjoy it fully without letting this stranger ruin it for her. She lit it up and took a delightful drag before glancing sideways back at the man. She was compelled to speak to him but wasn't sure what she was supposed to say; this was a night for thinking before speaking, however, so she stayed silent. She took another long drag off her cig before concentrating on keeping her ears out for her target.
Currently, she was being paid to take out some mafia low-life, some messenger boy, or package carrier or whatever. Someone double-crossed someone and they wanted it dealt with outside of the family; something about someone's wife. Merry didn't care, as long as she got paid, and got to feel that rush of adrenaline she became addicted to whenever she took another human's life.

I've been living with them ever since I woke up that one night seven years ago, covered in blood and without a single trace of my memory. Sam scratched her head with her free hand, giving a sigh. "Is that so? Well, do you think you could find this 'mentor'? I'd like to meet him." she requested, her whole body relaxing. However, she kept the gun, as always, where it was.
Gabe raised an eyebrow, but a smile crept up onto his face at the irony of it all. "A deal? Just a few moments ago you valiantly came your master's rescue. Why would you turn your back on him?" he asked curiously. For now, he wanted to avoid the subject of his employer. Can't just go around throwing out names, y'know.

"Well that's nice of you to compliment me. If you have nothing more to say, I need to get home." Church made his way past Sethadoes and headed towards the "dangerous" district of town, an area that holds the roughest, deadliest gangs and a majority of the city's crime.

I looked at Gabriel sharply. "Look," I said. "He's no master of mine, nor is he a friend. I don't like him. I just know him. And I didn't intend on saving him. I just...ended up doing it. I was afraid for my own life. I was afraid that if you killed him, you'd kill me for witnessing it," I confessed. "And I was afraid for Kione. But I want to help you. I don't want to be the one that kills him. I just want him to know that I am a threat, that I could kill him if I want. I'm not asking for much; I want to tell you his weaknesses. I want you to know everything about him before I'm out of the picture. I want him to be as afraid of you as I was of him." I shivered a little, helpless against the damned memories. "I want him to be scared."

"Oh?" Sam's eyebrows raised and she flicked the ashes from her cigarette onto the ground. "And why is that?" she asked curiously.
"Scared? Well now, I'd love to see that b*stard with a look of fear on his face." Gabe said, chuckling softly. "All right, then. Your little boyfriend there is coming along too, I suppose?" he asked with a wave to Kione.
