The vixen was happy that they were finally kits in the tribe. She turned back to talk with Akori and sighed. Fyra could hardly believe it. She thought she had learned how to keep him in sight while his parents were off, but Akori had taken off again.
It seemed to be busy work keeping up with the two male kits. Fyra knew the kit would be around when he was finished, but it made her feel like a bad carer for not keeping a better eye on them. She thanked Atum that neither of the parents was a Daeva. She walked toward the riverbed to see if Jaci was to be the 'victim' today.

Himeko was curled up on the ground, taking a very quick break. Ever since her birth she had been getting tired quicker, but it was due time before she would be back in shape. Her only daughter was staring at her mom, head tilted as she smiled at her.
"What is it, Chione?" Chione was staring at her mother, again, thinking about the future. The innocent, sweet kit knew that her family was destined to stay in Kemet, but she herself wondered if she wanted to stay there. Her family was here! Daddy and Mommy and her brothers who were always getting in trouble, but the small kit still curious about the world outside Kemet.
"Mommy, whats the outside world like?"

Rynn walked down her row of nice neat thriving plants. She still loved to hold and cuddle the kits of the tribe but growing plants gave her even more joy. She tried hard not to laugh at poor Fyra who had her paws full with the kits in Kmet. Still the vixen knows she can always ask for help from me or the others in the tribe if she needs it. And if the little rapscallions start digging up my plants as a joke I’ll make them help me clear out the irrigation ditches as punishment. Hard work would defiantly keep the little ones from messing with the food that I work so hard to grow. Rynn was feeling quite good so she started to hum and even dance a little as she went up and down the rows checking on the plants.

Persephone smiled as she had a squirming Marius under her paw the little kit had tried to add her to his collection of pranking victims and she had easily avoided it since she had been mischievous herself as a kit and she had raised prelude. Currently they where watching the tribe from the top of the pyramid. Well she was watching the tribe from the top of the pyramid. Marius was busy struggling. “you done with what ever you where plotting?” Persephone asked giving him a look.A blue eyed glare peeked out from the small opening in her paw. “awww not fair… not fair. Why are you winged birds soooo much harder.” Marius pouted. His plan had been perfect right up until the part when he jumped and never came down. Persephone had flown him up to the top of the pyramid and the stones where way bigger than he was. If he wanted to safely get down he had needed the phims help. Suddenly he spotted Rynn from their vantage point. “HIIIIII MISS RYNN! How are the plants doing?” He yelled so that he would hear her. He actually liked the orange tan colored vixen, of course she wasn’t safe from pranking either but he knew not to touch the plants.

Jaci was down by the river with her constant shadow, Raz. It had taken her awhile to teach Raz to chill out around her and calm down. Seriously, the black-and-white male was just so uptight and pessimistic! She couldn't help it if she had all the luck out of the two of them but that was no reason for him to freak everytime she dived into the water out of his sight.
Since her time here she'd gotten a lot better at swimming in the murky water. A couple close calls with the crocs, but what else was new? For the most part she was in the water hunting for rocks or plants since fish wasn't a main part of their diet of anything. She dove in, leaving Raz behind on the shore.
Raz sat in the shade of some reeds, brow furrowed in one of his every present frowns. He still got nervous when Jaci jumped in the river, but the stubborn permakit couldn't be happy unless she got to swim at some point in the day. He was also looking around himself warily.
Raz had a good reason to be wary, two of them in fact. First was that young crocs sometimes liked to hunt around this area. Just cause they were young didn't mean they couldn't still do some damage. The second reason was Akori. Ever since that first time he pounced on Raz and started licking him, Raz did his utmost best to avoid Akori. That odd kit seemed determined to repeat the treatment, all the more reason to stay away.

Rynn looked up and had to squint at a pyramid. Persephone was sitting up there messing with something. Judging from the voice I’d wager that’s Marius up there with her. I wonder what he tried to do this time? Marius was a good kit in Rynn’s opinion, an evil little mastermind of plots and mischief, but what kit his age wasn’t? He was smart and didn’t mess with her plants so as far as his pranks went Rynn didn’t mind them at all. She even laughed if he managed to prank her really well. Rynn yelled back at Marius grinning up the pyramid. Oi! The plants are doing great! It’s a shame you aren’t doing as well little one!

 Nanashi smiled, he always did love to fly, and today he decided he was going to go exploring in the desert. It had been many years since he'd ventured out this far, and he was curious to yes what had changed. Apparently much had, the caves that he had used as a den had been reclaimed by the sand. Not that he minded much, it was an uncomfortable den at that.
Looking back he checked the BCR that was dangling off his tail. He had stumbled upon the precious little thin when he was wandering through a forest. It's parents had been murdered, so it was all alone. He decided that he'd take it, maybe if he was lucky he could find it a god home, maybe even a mother.

“Yeah Persephone is being mean! She won’t let me prank her.” Marius stated and briefly wondered where the rest of his family was. Akori was probably off ambushing some one to test if they had narble problems…. He still wasn’t quite sure what those where. Apries was well doing what ever shy firstborns do and Chione was a mommy’s girl and was probably glued to her mother’s side.
Seeing as his prey wasnt looking at him at the current moment in time. He figured this was the perfect moment to strike... just wait for it... wait for it...Akori stuck his head out of the reeds long enough to lick Raz’s and Jaci’s cheek before staring at them. “Nope you are not infected with narbles. You’re safe” he stated before disappearing into the reeds again.
Horus wondered how he had gotten roped into this. he was supposed to be talking with Hitoru and Hollow about food for the tribe today and had been ambushed by a put out Kaname who was trying to keep track of the little escape artists his sons had become. He knew Persephone had one as he was there when the kit had tried his luck pranking her and was currently trying to find the other one; all under the disguise of checking out the progress of his tribe. Oh what the insibya did to try and help friends. “Hey Jaci, Hey raz you wont happen to have seen Akori have you?”

Jaci had simply snorted and dove into the water right after Akori had licked her. She agreed with Raz that he was an odd kit, but she didn't really mind; weird tended to follow her a lot. The bright perma was currently searching the river bottom, hoping to maybe find something tasty hidden in the silt on the bottom.
Raz swore and backed away, even though Akori had barely gotten him. The male was known among Kemet for his temper and tongue. It had gotten better with Jaci to tame him but he liked to say he was never that cured!
Therefore when he turned his head to face Horus his mis-matched eyes were quite as grumpy and bad-tempered as the first time they'd met. "Yea, the little-," Raz paused, then seemed to change his mind about what he had been about to say. "Yea, he's somewhere over here." He appeared to be mumbling something to himself now and glared down at the top of the Nile. Besides his temper, tongue, and tantrums. Or sulking, as Jaci liked to say when she teased her friend.

Himeko smiled at her daughter, looking out at the world behind Chione before shaking her head. "A lot of things. But why? Don't you want to stay here? With your brothers and father and aunt and I?" She asked gently. She turned to see her daughter frown, looking at the ground softly.
"I don't know...Aunty Hollow keeps talking about wanting to leave." She said, looking up at her mother before head turning. "I'm going to find Aunty Hollow." She mewled, nuzzling her mother before getting up.
Hollow was off to collect the kits bothering everyone. Or mostly Akori. Where did the buggers get it from, anyway?! Their mother was sweet, and their father...well... she had a few words for Kaname, but still! Chione resembled her mother very well, Apries was pretty good for a kit, but Marcius and Akori sent everyone insane.
"Akori, Marcius, come here!" She called out as she spotted Persephone, guessing one of the two were nearby. They had neglected to have bath time, and she was certain to give it to them, even if they fought.

Kaname paused and noticed something on the clouds. Normally it would be Amun’s job to notice and deal with something but most of the tribe was trying to find out where in the world his children had gone to. Well other than the ones who where out actually doing their job. He sighed so hoping the two of them would grow out of their morin phase as soon as possible. Well he was sure the tribe would find the both of them. He knew for a fact Persephone was dealing with marius. Well he was pretty sure he could take any harmful thing up in the air having quickly gotten used to maneuvering both himself and himeko in the air. Seconds later he was airborne and stopped a few feet away from the phim flying backwards a bit. “Hello there.” Kaname called out.
Persephone raised her eye as Marius heard his Aunts voice and cowered further under her paw. She would rat him out but she remembered her own days a kit and how she absolutely hated bath time. Ah well it looked as if the prank wasnt going to be too severe of one so she would help him this once. "you are still going to have to get one of your parents to give you one if you manage to avade her" Persephone told the kit. she watched as Marius nodded.
"Thanks for the help raz." Horus stated knowing Raz wasnt too great with the tribe he just mostly tolerated them because of jaci. So Horus made an extra attempt to try and make him at least feel comfortable in a weird way. before he could continue his speech Akori leapt out and licked his cheek.
"Hi Uncle Horus... is it time to go back to mommy and daddy?" he asked. "I checked the whole tribe no one has the narbles" he reported before crawling up the elder to be and nestling on his back.

Fyra walked up right when Akori licked Horus. She liked the little kit and his determination for finding 'narbles.' She nodded to Raz, still a little unsure about him, but he was Jaci friend. "I see you figured out where Akori took off to." Was her greeting to the male Permakit.
"Greetings Horus. Anything new to teach the kits?"

"More like he attacked me," Raz grumbled. It wasn't that he didn't like it here in the tribe. As far as groups went this one was alright. He just had a perpetually grumpy nature, which everyone else translated into 'I hate you all, I'm only here for Jaci'. And the Jaci part did play a huge role in it but she was the only one who could talk him down, which didn't help his rep for a temper.
At that moment a bright blue head popped out of the water, then a body that swam speedily to the edge. Jaci nodded to Horus and Frya, her mouth full of a giant clam. You could see the pride in her catch glowing in those bright gold eyes.

Rynn Hollow’s voice and looked around spotting the other vixen quickly. For a moment Rynn thought about speaking up as to Marius’s location, but decided against it since she liked the kit so much. Instead she decided to run decoy for him. She trotted over to Hollow and started a conversation with her. Hello there Hollow. What did the little ones do this time? Escape a bath? Rynn threw a smile at the other vixen that was warm and comical at the same time. She tried to think of alturnitives for the little ones should they turn up and want to avoid any grooming. Perhaps we can get a jug of water and bath them that way. It would be more fun if we had a shallow pool for swimming but then we’d never get Jaci out of it.

Akori thought about something he had been meaning to ask Horus for a while. It was part of the reason he was always running off so that perhaps his parents wouldn’t get too attached to him. He wasn’t like apries and Chione. No Akori knew it was only a matter of time until they left, but he didn’t want to grow up. He knew he would be better as a kit where he could pass off his oddity as something cute. Grown up this wouldn’t be acceptable. “Hey horus-san….You think I could talk with you. I can get my bath later.
Horus was in the middle of beginning to turn to answer Fyra when he looked back at the kit and the rare serious expression Akori had on his face. “ah no today lets just let them play for the rest of the day. Perhaps teach Chione and apries to survive on their own a bit more. I believe they will leave the tribe” he said in a sad tone. “Alright I don’t mind talking to you.” He smiled back at the tiny smile Akori was giving him.
