Amy closed her eyes. "It's not that simple. When he was experimenting on me, my Dad screwed up a bit. Now I have to take a medicine only he can provide. It's not like I can just run away. I'd die." she murmured quietly. Suddenly, the song "Losing You" by Dead by April began blaring. Amy blinked, pulling her phone out of her pocket. She glanced at the caller ID, then held it up to her ear. "Hey Jack. What do you need?" she asked, walking away from McKay. Suddenly, she heard the growl of an eraser's voice. Amy tensed, closing her mouth. She'd listen in for now.
Shade swung down from the vent, landing right in front of Tomoyo's cage. He grinned at her, but his mask hid it. "Hello, my friend. I hear you're getting out of here soon, eh?" he asked quietly, his voice muffled by the cloth around his face.

Tomoyo looked at the masked man , her brow furrowed. "Maybe, maybe not. Who are you?" She asked.

"I wanna know two things. The first thing I want to know is why? What is the purpose of this entire project?" Jack asked, the friendly grin upon his face was gone, and in its place was a very serious glare that said "I'm not f***ing around here."

Amy paused, frowning. Don't do anything stupid, Jack... she thought, hearing the malice in his voice.
His icy eyes sparkled as he grinned. "The name's Shade. I've been looking to get people like you away from these freaks for a while now. Judging on your little boyfriend that just left, I guess I'm not alone in the effort." he said.

"Amy wait!" McKay called out," I didn't know and I'm sorry, really but I guess just being kept here hasn't been the best experience." She sighed and heard the growl on the phone with her expert hearing and tensioned up. What the heck was that!??!

Shade put a finger on his chin, as if he was trying to estimate how long he was in the vents. "Hm. A good while, now. It's so easy to get around this place." he commented. Even though there were cameras around him, he wasn't afraid. Shade had disabled them late last night.

(And Lykie, you are correct! She wasnt experimented on... yet. But they usually dont experiment on... older patients. She is like 16? I cant remember the name)

Jack grabbed a metal baseball bat and cracked Kazumi upside the skull with it while her back was turned. "You're working too hard. You should take a break." Jack joked.
