(Surprise! Surprises suck, don't they XD)

Sila walked into the fields. It was her first day here at this school, and instead of finding her dorm or meeting some new people she decided to check out the trees and flowers. Her tread was light, almost like she was floating over the flowers. Being careful not to hurt them as she made her way. She stopped in a clearing of just grass further on sank down to the ground. Her flowing green leaf like dress wrapping around her. She took of her slipper like shoes and sunk her feet into the earth, letting the soft mixture of dirt and grass entangle with her toes. When she stepped out of her tree she could feel her power weaken. And then when she came here her power was weakened even more. But for some reason it still kept strong. Maybe because she was a Spring Dryad. Though in another couple of months she would make a trip back to her home tree. Get her powers to their highest potential, then most likely come back here. That is if she enjoys it.

"Mother Nature, you have yet to disappoint me." She said the the earth around her. Or probably more to herself. She looked a lot like the grass now because of her all green clothing. She didn't wear much besides green and brown. The most earthy colors in her point of view. And she mostly made her clothing out of material that she was granted by the elder Dryads. She would never dare harm the trees. It would result badly. And you would never harm her trees. It would end very badly for you. She ran her fingers through gnarled hair. From a distance it might just look like roots or branches from trees. And her hair was a pale green. The closer she gets to home the more her hair would resemble the trees around it. Until she once again had skin of trees while she was in her home tree.

She heard a twig snap which made her sit up suddenly. Her eyes scanned the perimeter of the area, looking for the person who could of come to harm the land. But instead of a man with an ax, she found a little animal scurrying on past her. She gave a friendly smile to it, then sighed. Of course there wouldn't be people at a such nice school who would want to harm the land that let's them survive. Would there?

Sila watched as her first paranoia came true. Only it didn't seem as if the new boy was going to hurt the plants. Only just wanted to practice with his weapon. She blended into the grass pretty well, so he probably hadn't spotted her yet. She would probably wait to make herself appear. Unless of course he spotted her before then. She waited until there was a moment of pause. Maybe for him to rest, think, or plan out his next practice, either way he was stopped for a bit. Sila stood up and made her way over to the boy. Still gliding over the flowers to not harm them. Only she was walking on them, no flying like some people could. She stopped besides the Kitsune and bowed slightly. He was an elder at the school. Even though she was probably older than him. "Hello, may I ask what your doing?" She said, even though it was pretty obvious he was practicing. She just wanted to make conversation. She let her eyes glide over the boy from toe to head. He wasn't that bad looking. Actually pretty good looking for that matter. She let her eyes stop on his eyes again. Waiting for him to reply.

Sila let a small blush form on her face. Then looked down, keeping her gaze away from him. "What do you need to practice? You seem amazing at it already." She said allowing herself a peek at his face. A small breeze picked up, having her hair whip around her shoulders and body. It resembled a lot of the green leaves flying around from near by trees. You could find a lot about her that resembled the trees. "Please don't mind me asking sir. But what are you?" She asked, pretty much asking his race. " I only interact with careless humans usually." She stated her reasoning of asking. It was true though. She did mostly talk with humans. And most of those humans end up dying for trying to harm the land and things around it. But then she met some nice humans who cared of the land. She tends to fall for people like that though. Only she has never been in a relationship before. Unless you consider her dedication to the earth as a relationship. She had heard of Dryad's older than her giving birth to half breed children. The mix between a human and a Dryad. It seemed like a pretty good life. You could leave your tree for a long time but still have powers of the protectors. She looked back into his eyes. They looked thoughtful. Or like he was trying to get something off of his mind.

Sila nodded thoughtfully., it made sense. If you didn't practice an instrument for years the next time you picked it up it wouldn't sound good. She watched his hand sweep away the pale green hair in her face before answering. A fox demon? Aren't demon's bad? Well she wouldn't judge him from meeting him right away. He would probably be really nice and helpful. "We will see. I have met some pretty insightful humans." She replied. If he didn't care about the earth than she might rank him lower than a human. Although she probably would never say that to his face. It might hurt his feelings. "Oh, and I'm Sila Risse." She said, quickly introducing herself. What if one of them had to leave? It might be nice to know the other's name in case they needed each other. But she highly doubted that he would need her help. Most likely the other way around. Just from going to class to class might take somebody's help. And this Kitsune looks old enough to have gone to this school forever. Meaning he would know where things are on this island.
