The roar of the ocean did little to drown out the calls of the gulls above the youth. With a twitch of her ear she continued to gaze upon them before lowering artic blue ords to gaze at the far horizon. It looked much like the earth ended in a drop-off, but she would never know. As much as she wanted fun and adventure she wouldn't swim to her death to achieve such ends.

The touch of cool water against her paws pulled Tat's wandering mind from the clouds to the present. High tide was coming and the ocean had already began licking at her front paws. With a silent sigh she rose and began to walk along the sea shore her print of paws left in her wake as she just stayed out of the wake of the liquid that continued to reach out at her. She had little want to play in it, though it beckoned to her with each wave that crashed.

The sand was different here, Talia noted. Where her old pack resided the sand was more like grainy dirt, a dull earthy tone like dark clay. This sand was dry, warm, and seemed to part like water wherever they stepped. It felt absolutely ticklish between her toes and through the fur of her paws, making her stop, shut her eyes, and shiver for an instant.

"Mm," She answered, blinking her eyes back open again and gazing at Tsume in a bit of a daze. "Alright,"

Talia surpressed a grin. She didn't mind if Tatiana came along, it wasn't quite the opposite since she would have enjoyed the private time on the way back as well as to, but Tatiana needed to get out and see the world. Talia could tell that much.

She nuzzled her head against Tsume's briefly, then headed for the beach with a slight wag of her tail, which hung behind her like a flag.

Tat meandered down the shore, tail hanging limply as the ocean creeped further up, just enough to touch the young youth's paws. The spotted femme cared little but the sound of movement behind her caused her tolook back behind her. There stood Hige with Tsume and Talia.

She had the urge to turn around and join them but her moodiness was preventing that from happening. Instead she continued on her way, tiny splashing moises the only sound she made as she trapses through the ever rising tide.

Tsume moved quickly after Talia had taken off to do some exploring. Tatti was on the move and he didn't want her to get too far away, that after all would mean he'd have to hcase her down. It didn't take him long to catch up with the young wolf, and he trotted alongside her a few heartbeats in silence.

"I'm sorry that me leaving upsets you Tatiana." He kept his gaze ahead as he spoke. "But I think by now you know I'm not much of a pack oriented wolf, and Talia wants to stay with her brother. So naturally I want to stay with her."

At that point he stopped slightly in front of the female, blocking her path a little as he looked at her. "On the other hand, Higa has agreed that you can join me and Talia on our way back to the freelands. I know you've been ancious to see what's outside of the packland borders...."

There he trailed off, waiting for the younger wolves reaction.

Tat looked at Tsume and sighed before stopping, plopping her rear-end in the wet sand. She knew he wanted or more like needed to be with Talia. Tat knew she couldn't stop that, no matter how she felt about him leaving the pack.

She was about to reply to him when her ears caught the last bit he said. Eyes shot up from the sand she was gazing at and ears were alert. "Wha....REALLY!? I can come with you and Talia!" Within seconds she was on her paws, tail moving so furiously behind her that her rear end was moving along with the appendage.

Talia's tail hailed the air with gentle sweeps then, hopefully reassuring Thayne that she was no threat. She wasn't very large for a female, being utterly dwarfed in Hige's shadow, slightly dwarfed by Tsume's, and just barely dwarfed by Loki. Thayne, being a mountain-wolf himself, probably stood over her as well by a full head. The scents of the ocean began to sift about in her nose as she concentrated on the beta. He smelled strongly of this area so he was definitely a regular pack member.

He also smelled strongly of the alphas, suggesting he spent a fair deal of time with one or the other of the two. Upon a closer inspection she recognized the lighter underside of his pelt, giving him a handsome array of blacks fading to mature grays. He didn't smell of any females that she had not met, yet, causing Talia to suspect that this wolf was still "loning" it.

All these observations came quickly as she stopped before him, keeping her head and tail at a respectable, but not submissive position.

At the buffed welcome, black furred ears visibly perked forward and she returned the greeting in a similar fashion. "Hey there,"

Talia settled neatly onto her haunches, near enough to the surf to let the water play at her paws a bit. The sand was much darker and squishy here, causing her to go a bit lax. It was a bit cold, but it felt good compared to the heat of the day.

"This is my first time being in your pack's lands. We... won't be staying long." She said this politely, but noteably her voice was confident like a river flowing a path that had been worn over years. Her ears flickered, detecting bits of an accent from Thayne. "I'm Talia,"
