The doctor finally walked out with a puzzled look on his face. He looked over the information the nurse had taken down and looked at Srin. "Sir, by all accounts, your wife here should only be 5 days into her pregnancy but she's showing at almost 5 months. At this rate, she'll be delivering within the week." He didn't know how it was even possible but it was here in his hospital. "If you would allow, we would like to run a few tests..."

"Amniotic tests, blood tests. Simple things like that," he said. In his head, he was dancing. He was going to make the medical breakthrough of the century with this woman. "The only thing is... I can't allow you in the room during the testing."

"Human? Do I look human to you?" he asked, opening his mouth fully to show his teeth. He was a vampire, fangs glinting in the soft light. Closing his mouth, he laughed a little. "I guess you don't have a good history with humans, huh?"

"I already know about that. But Queen Kora helped me with that disability. It's just donation and forest animals for me," he said with a laugh. "But the rules are the rules. You can be with her before and after. But not during the tests."

The doctor leads Srin to the room they put Liliana in. She was hooked to a few machines to monitor her vitals. "You have about ten minutes before we have to come in for the first test," the doctor said before walking out.

Srin moves into the room and kneels beside the bed, all these machines hooked up to her only mad Srin feel worse..... He leans foreword and kisses her forehead,.,.

Liliana rolled her eyes. "Of course. I should have known this would happen when I used all that raw power at the island." She sat up just as the doctor walked in. "Mr. Srin, it's time to leave your wife for a moment." Liliana's eyes opened wide. "Wife? Srin! What have you been telling them?" she cried in shock.
