Gee whiz, I'm not that old and not a history or WWII buff. My husband would know.....Patton or Eisenhower? I looked it up and it is General Eisenhower. I was only one general away from naming the three principle leaders of the American forces.

19~What word means gradually getting louder and louder? I was thinking this was 'fortissimo' but that specifies a louder volume rather than a changing one. Dynamics in Wikipedia says 'crescendo' is the term.
