((Well I am waiting for either of you to post.....))

"Why on gaia would you want to hunt at this hour?" the elf asked seriously. It was predawn, one of the most dangerous times to be about. When beasts are at their most desperate for food.

His hand on each of their shoulders, Robert inadvertently pushed the girls closer together. Under normal circumstances this would be fine, however the elf could not shake this prickly feeling every time she got close to the mixed breed. She shied away from the girls' contact despite knowing that without touching she could not understand the words that she may utter.

"It is not that simple Robert. One of our cloaks may go missing unnoticed. But any more and they may begin to get suspicious. Not to mention our hasty departure is surely causing unrest amongst the village. They will be looking for us surely as the sun rises," she explained in dismay.

[[Hm, I wonder why she'd have that aversion >w>]]

Cyra stiffened a bit as Robert put his hand upon her shoulder, but tried to force herself to relax. As he spoke, she let confusion sweep across her face. She shook her head, trying to convey the message that she did not understand him. Towards the end, she understood that he was talking about her, but she still didn't get the gist of what was going on.

When the elf spoke, only then did she realize just how close Robert had put her to the elf. Though she may be alright with it, Cyra realized the other girl was shying away from her physical presence. She wondered why Robert wasn't tense when she was around as she could tell Toilre was telling him off about something. She scooted away from his warm hand and the elf, hoping to ease the tension within the small area.

Ace face palms himself as he sits back but keeps his hand on Tolire's shoulder "Well can't you understand Cyra at least? So we can all communicate with each other? Also what could be so dangerous in the woods? I mean I am afraid of the dragon but one good shot between the eyes should kill it and and anything else would die if they were to attack us like wolves or something....Anyways I don't think I should talk like that. Sorry, So since I need to find a way home and since Cyra can't be just left to herself lets walk her in under protection of the coat while I go in without it. I mean I am Human and I probably feel different by this sense you were talking about right? Also by how you were talking the Elves seem like the type of creatures to accept Humans, I mean you guys are kinda related to us in a way. Well that is what the legends say in one form or another. I am kinda surprised you haven't advanced far into technology though like we have. I am guessing it is because you have your "Magic" but my plan could work. What do you think?"

As Robert continued to bicker with Tolire, Cyra began to get the gist of what was happening. To her, it seemed that Robert wanted to keep her with him (or them, but she couldn't tell for sure). She shook her head. Why can't he understand that I don't bring any good to anyone near me? she thought sadly, deciding what she had to do. If he wouldn't leave her, she would, before anything worse happened.

Standing up abruptly, she almost hit her head on the low ceiling of the cave. After she had made sure her head was in no danger of the rocks, she picked her way around the two, making sure to not touch them at all. Pausing, she rethought her actions and carefully edged closer to Tolire. It was uncomfortable, but since the elf had the power to understand another being through physical contact, it was worth a shot. However, she limited the contact to only her fingertips, hoping to not cause too much unease. "It's better if you don't involve yourself with me any more. I thank you for your kindness though." Cyra spoke, if a bit shakily. She pulled her hand away quickly, then dashed outside before the others realized what she was doing.

Snapping her wings open, she leapt off the ledge, flying away from the two of them. However, once she had cleared the waterfall and had gotten to the edge of the forest, a wave of exhaustion hit her, causing her to loose altitude. "No… why now?!" she cried out, frustrated at her body. As a bout of sleep took over her body, she crashed into the treetops, falling through the branches until she laid on the forest floor, asleep and covered in debris.

As the two argue Robert notices Cyra get up and almost bash her head but doesn't really understand what is going on until she says something then runs out of the cave trying to fly. Robert gets to the edge of the cave seeing her fly off as she starts to plummet to the ground "Well that is gonna hurt....a lot." With that Robert sighs and looks back to Tolire touching her hand "Hey I'll get her you figure out something alright." With that Robert climbs down the waterfall and runs over to where Cyra had fallen. Once upon reaching the area he walks up to her and looks at her body to make sure she is breathing and realizes she is still conscious then picks her up by her arms and gives her a fireman's carry as he walks back to the cave "You know I am not gonna give up right? Come on now you still have to rest up so where did you think you were going in the condition you were in. Robert gets to the bottom of the waterfall and looks up giving a sigh as he starts to climb making sure Cyra is secure and by doing this it strains his body more. After a couple minutes he reaches the cave and puts her in her original spot as he sits down taking a much needed break.

Though she was out, somewhere in her subconscious she understood him. Through the recent incident, her angelic powers had just begun to awake, and her body began to glow a soft white light. In her mind, she had heard his comment to her, and somehow she'd understood it. A voice popped up in the back of Robert's head, softly replying to him. "Why do you care about her so much?" it asked gently, like the soft cooing of a dove. The presence it had in his mind wasn't troubling; rather, it was comforting and seemed somewhat protective. The connection stayed, even when he had set Cyra on the floor. Still glowing, her body began to heal itself slowly, all of the small scratches disappearing from her skin. After they had all disappeared, her body stopped giving off the soft light.

"There are many things in these woods that would make a snack out of you. Do not judge it by its appearance. This place is not like your fabled home world," she warned gently. It was a death sentence normally, to wander out at night. That they had survived this long was a miracle. She thanked the little cave with an affectionate pat. Tolire decided not to comment on the differences of their race. It would not do to get into an argument about which was better.

She took the necessary silence after hearing his plan. Would such a thing work? Would the villagers be less alarmed at seeing a myth come to life? OR would they fear the very real danger of the conflicted beast before her. Her blood always hindered her, fighting itself as it did. The elf pitied the girl, but did not voice her empathy. Sythansarii's were notorious for being short tempered and easily offended. A dastardly combination in her opinion.

Before she could voice her concerns, an icy chill ran along her spine. Her gift of hearing changed, depending on the voice and language used. Unlike the warm airy sensation she felt when she focused on Robert, Cyra made a sharp sting of ice prickle along her skin. Tolire barely had time to process what the power meant when the girl spoke in almost guttural tones. The tones weren't that of anger, more like an accent. The elf suspected that would be how she sounded, should the mix breed ever attempt to speak the singsong verses of elvish. Soon as the message had been passed the girl pulled away, much to the relief of the elf. Nothing personal, but that icy sensation made her shiver. It didn't help that it took her completely by surprise. She had never touched one of either angelic or demonic flavor. Tolire wondered if that was why the sensation was so cold and stinging. A taste of the girls' inner turmoil.

She watched idly as the human ran after the fallen child. A pang of guilt and fear tore its way through her. How could she call herself a child of Gaia? The eltar built their people on the belief of helping all life, no matter the danger to themselves. Life was a sacred thing not to be lost, but nurtured. As Robert returned with Cyra, Tolire shifted to the side to stay out of his way.

After taking a shaky breath to settle her nerves, the elf knelt down beside the human to examine the newest injuries. Gently, she folded the girls' wings off to one side so they were safe from being stepped on as she replaced the giant broad leaves they had used as blankets.

"Karmanalii mata Gaia," she whispered. Forgive me, mother Gaia.

A chill ran down Robert's spine as he heard the angelic voice. Robert not ever hearing the voice before had ignored it like it was not there knowing there was no one else other than Tolire, Cyra, and himself. Robert now sitting on the rock looks at her body yawning. Robert then thought into his mind and it basically got transferred into Cyra's Angel part "You are such an idiot.....What have I gotten myself into. Okay lets see here, I am on some strange as planet where there is magic which I think is actually just some illusion made by the creatures here, I cannot understand their language and starting a fight would wind me ending up dead in close range...I may know hand to hand but that wont stop a ******** magic fire ball or whatever. If I can get get my hands on some technology or find a race with it I can hopefully use it to send a signal to get help and go home. I have met Cyra and Tolire and are now friends but Tolrie...well she for some reason does not trust Cyra and is afraid of the things around here. I can't see why I mean I can easily handle myself with their lack of technology but Cyra." Robert looks up smiling at Tolrie then at Cyra before he looks back down "Cyra is a sweet girl I mean yes she has that evil insane side to her but with some therapy and kindness maybe she can control it. She or some reason distrusts us and I tend to reverse that so I don't have to constantly run after her.....I have limited ammo and I don't really know where I am if I am on another planet. I guess I will find out but at least this place is clean and fresh unlike Earth. We kinda ******** that planet up now didn't we." Robert doesn't really laugh but gives a good "Heh." Robert doesn't even know that Cyra's angelic part can hear him. "I honestly think this is a dream but it is sooo real." Robert says in his mind before looking back up "Alright so we wait for Cyra to get back up then head out right?"

((Kinda gives an outlook on what Robert is thinking.))

The angel sighed, as if she were shaking her head. "You are far beyond the reach of help from your home here." she began, deciding to tell him the truth. "As for her and the elf… it's too soon to be calling them friends. Half-breeds of any sort are not treated… kindly, and she… it's not her fault for what she is. She merely distrusts people and other races as a form of defense, something she learned over the years in order to survive. This past incident with her father was not the first, nor is it the last attempt on her life." The angel chose her words wisely, trying to say it kindly. Perhaps it was not her place to say, but she felt that she could trust this human with the information. Or rather, she felt he needed to know at least this much if he planned to stay by Cyra for any longer. "No amount of this… therapy could ever help her. Her demon is not a force that can be controlled. She could perhaps tame it, but that would take a long time and much effort. No one has ever been able to completely control a demon." Hearing Robert's last comment, the angel's tone became stern. "This is no dream, human. This world and what is happening to you is as real as your home and the air you breathe. Do not do anything rash."

Robert hears the voice again and stares in shock at the ground below him then thinks again to talk to her "How are you doing this? I don't care who you are but you cannot just start talking to me as if you know anything about what my position in this world is! Who are you to think that just because there is something mentally wrong with Cyra she is a demon. How could you even say that just because you are ignorant in what goes on with the mind doesn't give you that right to force ideas on others, also who cares if her father or whoever comes back. It is not like they could even harm us with me defending them and they are also going to protect ourselves so YES! I am her friend, she just has to realize this. NOW SHOW YOURSELF OR SHUT THE ******** UP!!!" After Robert had thought this he showed to the entire Heaven community that Even Humans have a hateful dark side. After saying this Robert turns the safety off his gun and holds it at his side waiting for something to happen.

"I didn't say she is a demon, I said she can't control her demon. Listen carefully to your elders, boy. Or did you not learn that back on earth? And do not think for a minute I don't know what goes on in her mind. I know everything about that girl, even her deepest fears." The angel scolded Robert in his mind. He had no idea what he had just started; the angel's anger could get quite terrifying at times. "And I care if her father comes back because that puts you and me in danger. Angels do not look happily upon one who injures them, especially with an angel so prideful as her father. It's a wonder he hasn't been banished from Heaven yet. Do not think you are invincible here, with your weapons and such. These people have ways of hurting you in only ways you humans have dreamed of. And DON'T YOU USE THAT TONE OF VOICE WITH ME, BOY. NOR DO I APPRECIATE THE USE OF PROFANITY. You want me to show myself? Fine. I WILL." With a last huff, the angel's voice in his head became silent.

Cyra's body began to glow again, though she made no movement or sound. A blinding white light filled the cavern, causing any living creature with eyes to recoil. As it faded away, a mess of white feathers lay around Cyra. She opened her eyes to reveal two sapphire blue eyes, so different from her usual crimson ones. Sitting up, she looked over to Robert, not showing any emotion. Though she kept her wings folded, they could see that they had changed to the color of fresh snow. "I am the one you wanted to see, correct?" She spoke to Robert, in both his mind and verbally. Though she had no emotion upon her face, her eyes dared him to try and shoot her. "Don't try to act so high and mighty here, human. While you were at the top of the food chain on earth, here there are creatures who aren't afraid of your weapons and such. Try think before you act." She snorted delicately.

Tolire jumped back when Cyra began to glow. The result of the sudden movement included a crack to the head followed abruptly by a yelp. The elf backed up quickly, her body crouched and low to the ground while one hand cupped the back of her head. She only stopped when her back brushed the far stone wall. A damp spot matted her hair where she hit, but she was unsure if it was blood or water from the low ceiling she hit. Either way it smarted.

Then she looked up at the angelic Cyra who looked so unlike the mixed breed who had been on the floor. Eyes wide in wonder, she muttered softly in elvish. Her eyes darted to Robert, who stood defiantly. Slowly, she made her way to him while still staying low. Angels were not as bloodthirsty as demons, but they were just as violent and quick to anger.

"Lis Sythan," she whispered in a mixture of awe and fear when she was half way behind the human. Like the kiss of a butterfly, her fingers ghosted over the hand that held his gun.

"Robert. Do not do anything rash with this one. Angels here are not the protectors of souls like they are in your world," she whispered. Her people had stories of the prideful angels, guardians of their heavenly world. Very few of her people ever lived to tell of their encounters.

Robert lowers his hand gun but still keeps the safety on it off in case something happens. Robert knew even though she had Cyra's body he would still shoot her and if had to would kill her to defend himself and Tolire. "Yes we are the top of the food chain on Earth and are the most powerful race even here we would be as there is no creature I have found even you wanna be angels and demons that could take us in a fight. I am not afraid of you like Tolire here because I know that I can hurt you. Not now as you are controlling Cyra but I know even the strongest armors fall to the weapons I have, I am probably stronger than you fakes." Robert did not believe these creatures to be of Angel descent or Demons either as he knew if they were then how would he have hurt Cyra's father or why would they be so violent if they were so high and mighty. There had to be more to it. "Now lets sit down and talk shall we?" Robert says sitting on his rock like before as he pulled out a lighter and looked for something to burn to rekindle the fire they had going as he still kept his eyes on the "Angel" and have his hand on the gun.

"I will sit, if you will kindly remove your hand from your weapon." The angel said, bristling at his little speech. She continued to watch his hand; the moment it was safely away from the weapon she would plop herself down gracefully. "You only say that you're at the so called top cause you haven't met a demon nor an orc. Tell me, did you think Cyra's father was bad? Demons can be ten times worse when angered, and Orcs can flatten you in a second human. You calling us fake? We're as real as you and the elven girl are; as real as the air you breathe and the waterfall roaring outside. Yes, we are quite violent, but that's because you wound our pride or somehow manage to press the right buttons to piss us off. To most angels, their pride is about everything to them." The angel lectured Robert, with an air of haughtiness about her. Flipping her hair over her shoulder, she continued. "I wouldn't say I'm controlling her, but more like I've temporarily become the dominant… personality, so to say." she shrugged. "Don't even ask me or her to explain; we're not exactly sure ourselves."
