The enchantress nodded her assent, trying the next corridor. She felt another round of stirrings in her womb. It was nearly time, and she had to get out of here.
Almost there.
Not much time left.

Haew hung back towards the rear of the group, thinking about the group. There was the midget man that was in a fury, and the two nobles. Two of the males seemed to have a dislike of each other, each one having a girl at his side, though one was pregnant. The nobles occupied his attention most however, as he could feel the sheer magical power seeping from them. He grinned ferally, his hand caressing his blade's handle.

"Broke door bad bad evil person not welcome go!" Rak screeched, hands quivering at his sides. He looked ready to burst from tears. "Bad bad people go now sleep long sleep, die rot pile go all no break door!"
Suzy shook her head, not bothering to process what Rak had said. Suzy nodded, agreeing with Kaokie, and followed Emma down the other corridor. Down this corridor was another door, identical to the one that Gaila and Haew had been found in, except that the door wasn't unlocked already this time.

Haew looked to Rak. "Okay, so I think the gist of what you're saying is I'm evil and I need to leave the group and die? Kind of harsh little man, especially since that statement itself is evil by your definition. Walk a couple leagues in my shoes and see if you still have that "good" personality of yours." Haew then pulled the hood of his clothes over his head, covering his nose and mouth with another piece.

A flick of the wrist melted the lock off the new door, and Emma was the one to throw it open. Urgency was clear in her stance, even more so in the violet sparks that danced around her.
The enchantress took a step back, bracing herself for whatever lay through the doorway.

Romulus' staff glowed, ready to unleash cosmic fury.

[ AHAHAH. BEST STARTING ROLL EVER. G'luck, everyone, I'll respond at some point tomorrow and have Eli/Suzy/Gaila help. ]
The door opened to proved a fresh wave of nauseous, noxious stench. Inside was a lumbering hulk of a creature, huge, its back as high as the ceiling. One rose-red eye gleamed as it turned to face the party, baring the expanse of its side.
Claws clicked on the floor, like bits of metal; its skin appeared to be every color of the rainbow and then some, covered by short fur in some places, and bare, leathery skin in others. It's breath was fetid, the most likely cause of that smell.
[ The 'CM' has 400 HP. ]

The enchantress gagged, reeling backwards as she tried to summon up a spell. Her contractions just kept getting worse, and her power was diverted to keeping her on her feet rather than defending herself.
Unfortunately, the elf backed herself into a wall, shivering with a mixture of true cold and revulsion.

The smell wasn't the worst he had smelled, but it definably was up there. He aimed to draw his weapon, but the assault on his sense was enough to make his hand shake, causing Haew to bite down hard on his hand.

Remus ((Wow Remus, you suck.))
The Imperator was unaffected by the stench, so he was quick to throw himself at the creature, completely underestimating its abilities. The 'CM' lashed out with one big swip of it's claw, practically shredding Remus. Circuits, joints and a good chunk of metal innards were torn out in the process. The remaining hulk that was left of him flew back and crashed into Romulus...

Romulus was prepared for the monster, but not the flailing torso of his brother. There was the loud sound of crashing metal and circuits as automaton struck automaton. When Romulus pushed the broken body of his brother off of him, the flesh on the Betrayer's face was torn away, revealing his black metal jaw and teeth. Romulus got back to his feet.

Remus was still functioning, but all that was left him was his head, torso and one arm. His spinal column and lower ribcage poked out from the bottom along with a few sparking wires.
"This is gonna take awhile to repair." he muttered, frustrated and pissed off.

The monstrosity was clearly irritated. It shied from the light, lashing out in a huge arc.
The swipe hit Gaila directly, sending her to the floor in a heap of fur and fluff. She wasn't as badly hurt as Remus, but she was far more mortal than he. She was unconscious now, and bleeding fiercely from the abdomen.
Next on the arc was Eli, who had enough agility to move out of the way - mostly. His fake right leg caught, making him stumble, and putting his right arm directly in harm's way.
Suzy had the benefit of two before her to dodge. It was clumsy, and not as graceful as she could have wished, but she was back up in a moment. She was greeted by a large, stiff tail, knocking the wind right out of her.

Emma rallied quickly, pushing herself off the wall and loosing a bolt of spellfire that struck the creature's flank, burning through whatever skin or fur was in its path,-
- the flames contained, shielded so that none would be harmed but their target, and urged into a frenzy by silver-blue magic, working perfectly in tandem with the violet fires.
