While she was making her food, he only thought of the past encounters with the vixen and now this strange alien that so graciously tore a chunk out of his leg. As he was sure it would heal just fine, he still had to wonder about other things. The same things that he had purposely taken a long amount of time to try and sort out. While he still had no answer, it wasn't hard for him to feel his eye lids grow heavy.
They only jolted open when he heard the footsteps of the returning vixen, who skirted past him quickly only to plop down on her bed, munching away on her concoction of food. It repulsed him, but only because the mere thought of food made him nauseous, so in defense, he flipped to his stomach and laid his arms out in front of him, resting his head on the massive forearms. Almost instantly he let his eyes close and he was soon taken to his subconscious without the slightest clue

Moving up slowly onto her forearms, Nariko shifted a paw to hold above her heart; feeling that uncomfortable flutter rise once again. Looking over as Dutch shifted onto his stomach and otherwise was silent, her eyes soon wandered around the room. Was it so bad to be uneasy that it was really just she and he here; not that anything was bound to happen but still....perhaps the traditionalist in her was weary of the mere idea of it.
Since with the amount of kits out there she was sure her suspicions were pretty accurate on what foxes did while alone.
Looking back to him once again, she realized by his steady breathing he must have fallen asleep; and with a mental chuckle to herself she turned and curled up on her own mattress and let sleep take her as well. Of course, as was most nights she slept indoors she would find herself sprawled on the floor off her mattress; another reasoning why she was thankful the bed was a floor bound one.

----------------------------
It was the following morning that Dutch finally stirred. Being very much a rock sometimes in his own sleep, he found he was waking up almost in the exact position he fell asleep in. Stiff and sore, he groaned a bit and wiped the saliva trail from his mouth, opening his eyes wearily feeling as if a train had hit him in the night.
"Son of a b***h" he coughed as he slowly rolled to his side, keeping the towel firmly in place in the event Nariko was already awake or whatever. He sat up with some difficulty before instinctively trudging to the bathroom, shutting the door behind him for only a moment

Still passed out to the world as she wasn't even aware of Dutch's stirring; Nariko continued to sleep away. With her feet still resting on her matress while her body was more on the floor and the blanket tangled around her, it wasn't until the shutting door of the bathroom roused her from sleep as her eyes cracked open.
"Nyeah?" She muttered, flicking her ears around as she rubbed her eyes; temporarily forgetting everything as her mind slowly jostled to a thinking state. Turning her head she noticed Dutch wasn't in bed and let out a yawn and sat up to untangle herself from the blankets before standing. Reaching around she could feel her bandages pull from the night's work, realizing she would need to change them soon. "Crap..." She sighed, hating this part of wounds as she slowly stumbled her way to the closet to pull out another shirt to wear; removing the one she'd mooched from Kay since it was stained a little from the seeping bandages.

After relieving himself, he washed his hands and left the bathroom. He was going to stumble into the bedroom, but being awoken from the bright lights of the bathroom, he noticed Nariko shirtless, with her back facing him. Quietly, he turned and walked down the hall. As much as he wanted to make a scene about her words from the previous day...hour..minute..whatever, he decided it better not to.
He trudged not to far down the hall and leaned his back against a wall, making sure to shift weight off of his aching leg as he waited for the vixen to exit the room so he could return to sleeping.

Spacing out as she usually did in the morning hours when she wasn't outside to be aided by the crisp fresh air, the vixen flicked her ears as she could hear footsteps and the gentle creak of the wall as weight was put on it. Not realizing Dutch must have seen her, she walked over to the door and poked her head into the hall as she wore a similar tired expression as he did.
Well, she knew she had no choice, so she put on a sheepish smile. "Dutch.....can you help me....with my back?" She was unable to change the bandages herself; let alone put on the ointment given to her by the doctor.
If she had other options she would implore them, but alas; unless she wanted to call the doctor back he would have to do...or if he denied her anyways.

His ears twitched and swiveled to listen as the soft thudding approached the door, Nariko soon popping her head out from the entrance, asking a normally absurd question. He made no gesture or even a snide remark, as he pushed his rear away from the wall and followed obediently to the room, making sure to avert his eyes if necessary.
With skills only a trained had, he removed the bandages swiftly from her back. "Where's the ointment?" he asked with a soft voice, holding no emotion. He just wanted to get back to sleep..or at least off his feet

"Thank you..." Nariko breathed out softly, turning her back to him as he entered even though out of the corner of her eye she could see he was looking away just in case. It was considerate of him, thanks to the fuss she made the night before and it seemed before she knew it the fresh air nipped at her exposed tissue.
"Its right here, allow me...." She folded an arm over her chest and walked to the shelf which she had deposited the items the night before; returning back to hand him both the ointment and fresh bandaging with her free hand. Turning back around she gave another little yawn, feeling more and more in debt to the male the longer she hung around his side; even though at first it was unintentional. She realized he was here for convenience, and found her eyes drifting down as she dwelled in her thoughts.

He nodded and waited for the bottle to enter his open paw. As it did, he grasped it and looked back with fresh bandages also making an appearance. He took those as well and slung them over his arm before taking a bit of the ointment on his fingers, and rubbing the wounds with the white cream. After that he quickly put the bandages over.
All the while he did this he cursed to himself on his fatigue and nausea. He really wanted to make a move or something. He wasn't for sure before, but all the things she did for him...despite the sass she gave back, but still he knew she was only as conflicted.
He nodded his head as he finished with dressing the wounds and turned away from her, thinking maybe she would put on a shirt or whatever. Curse that damn fatigue

It was a relief to feel the soothing sensation of the ointment take effect once more; her back tingling with a gentle chill as he applied it. Closing her eyes for a moment, her ears fell to her sides as Nariko relaxed against his touch. Once the bandages were secured around her torso she felt much better, turning her head to look at him only to be met with his back.
Watching him for a moment as she didn't move, she wondered what was on his mind; knowing it would be something she'd probably never figure out. When he wanted to keep people in the dark he did a damn fine job at it.
However, she knew sleep wasn't going to come back to her anytime soon and he still looked pretty tired. Turning back she figured it would be best to leave him be since she was sure she'd be tossing and turning; but something just kept nagging her. Be it spite or irony from before, she took the step towards him and was thankful for her height. Easily turning her head over his shoulder she gave a light kiss to his cheek, keeping her arm over her chest as she headed for the door. "Thank you, Dutch. I'll let you sleep." She stated, figuring she'd go change back into her under suit since she felt the most comfortable in it.

He noticed that she wasn't moving towards the shirt. Curious, he glanced over his shoulder only to be met with a kiss to his cheek. He blushed lightly and cursed in his mind for not having done anything but stare at the floor.
Even as she left the room to let him sleep further, he remained still, lost in his thoughts for only a moment or two before finally getting back onto the floor bound bed. He shirked off the towel as it was starting to itch around his waist and pulled the blankets up to cover the netherlands so to speak. He paused however to look at the stitches, noting how the area surrounding the sewn together gash was stained blue.
Shaking off the weirdness, he covered his body and hid beneath the covers, realizing how cold he really was. It wasn't long that he found himself dead asleep once more

The walk to the laundry room to get changed wasn't long at all, quickly slipping her under suit back on and felt once more as is she was back in her own skin. On the way back to the room after a quick stop to the kitchen she opened the door quietly and noticed he was already asleep, shutting it silently once more. He must really be out of it.... She thought, and realized that he really wouldn't be able to leave the house at this rate with nothing to wear but a towel.
It didn't take long before she realized what she'd need to do. Heading back to the door she pulled on her boots and quietly slipped out the door and onto the shop path. Running leisurely she made her way down the path, knowing she'd regret it later but hey, she had fresh ointment so she knew she'd be spared some of the pain.
----------------------A few hours later
Returning out of breath as her back felt hotter than it should have, Nariko removed her boots at the door. Quietly slipping into the room she was happy to see he was still asleep, setting the bag quietly down beside the bed. In it was a few articles of clothing, pants and shirts of different varieties; but hey, it was something since she was glad they at least had his size.
Slipping out as quietly as she came, Nariko made her way to the kitchen as she sat down at the table and folded her arms on the surface, resting her head soon after on her arms to relax. I hope you are doing alright out there, Okaasan.

A few hours later
Dutch finally felt the ache in his leg to unbearable to sleep through, so he opened his eyes after a decent nap and groaned a bit as he shifted under the covers and looked into the rest of the room, seeing a mysterious bag that wasn't there before. His curiosity was telling him to look inside, but at the same time a small red flag rose in the back of his head.
Still, he found his curiosity getting the best of him as he slowly crawled out of the covers and looked into the bag, astonished to find clothes inside of it. Where did these come from? he thought as he reached in pulling out a plain black t-shirt and beige pants. They weren't his style, but it was at least something he could wear AND look as if he was from this day and age. He didn't bother to look in at anything else as the shirt and pants alone were enough to make him feel at home...so to speak.
He quickly slipped on the pants, more so very carefully over his leg, and then slipped the black shirt on as well. He sighed before standing and moving out of the bedroom, not really sure what he was going to do, or even who brought the clothes, so he just aimlessly wander down the hall, stopping a few times to look around and think

Nariko wasn't sure how long it had been since she began to space out of thought and sound mind at her lingering exhaustion and sore back, but it couldn't have been long she thought as she could hear a rustle down the hall. Perking her ears up to catch more sounds, she could hear footsteps, heavy ones. Which could mean it was either Briareos or Dutch, more or less she was willing to bet on the latter.
"That you, Dutch?" She called out as she lifted her head off her arms and looked towards the kitchen door. She hoped silently he was feeling better than the day prior with some sleep under his belt now; although she was sure if her back still stung before the incident, that his leg was still going to be rather painful. Well, if that stuff hadn't had anything to do with it yet.

About ready to walk through the living room and out the door to see if anyone was around, he heard the ever familiar voice of Nariko call from the kitchen. Like some obedient puppy he made his way through the swinging doors and sure enough, found the vixen sitting at the table looking towards him. He feigned a weary smile, but it was all a bravado. He was really hoping she hadn't gone completely out of her way to get him clothes...especially after his subliminal bitching. It would make him feel horrible.
"You brought the clothes I presume?" he asked casually, dodging her eye as he walked to the other side of the table, sitting down and trying his damndest to look her in the eye
