"Wow! It's a mermaid!" In awe at the beauty of the sea creature she decides to use her study in Aquan and shouts over the storm to the mermaid "Watch over us lovely lady! This storm is brutal!" Seeing a mermaid off to one side she decides to see what mysteries can be discovered off the other...

"Captin! Or Mr. Worth! There was a merman *with big eyes points to where the merman appeared* ((matt told me it was a mermaid.. but it was a merman.. anyway)) He pointed southeast. I don't know what it means. But I think I've heard mer-people are friendly to sailors so maybe he's trying to tell us something."

The kender squints, and with a wide grin turns the ship accordingly, sailing towards the sea being casting. As the person finishes his spell, a wall of wind appears stretching across the horizon. Past the wall, on the side of the caster, the water calms and the sky clears, an obvious out.

As the boat passes through the windwall, the temperature goes up immediately, the wind dies down, and the water calms. The blue scroll the caster was reading from explodes with a splash.. Roll spot checks as you cats approach the isle.
