When Dee showed Yuki and Hiro the chamber, she said, "Here we are. The Hyperbolic time chamber. 2 great saiyans before you have trained here. Sorry, make that 2 full blood saiyans and 4 half blood saiyans trained here. You have exactly one day, that is 24 hours to complete your training. Have fun, and try not to get killed. later!"

As soon as Hiro and Yuki were in the chamber, Dee closed the door and locked it!

Yuki then went into the deeper part of the chamber and began working on his ki control. He had felt it growing within him for some time now. He was worried he might accidentally hurt Shuichi if he lost control of his temper before he had the courage to ask Dee for help.

Hiro stayed in the "shallow" part of the chamber. He worked on punches and kicks. He could feel the energy rising within him. He saw Yuki fire off a decent Galick Gun, which he had been reading about the night before this.

He wondered for just how long Yuki had been holding back. How long had Yuki kept that anger bottled up inside? Then Hiro got a crazy idea. He called out to Yuki, "Say, Yuki, maybe we should spar, you and I. I mean, its obvious you have some anger issues you want to get off of your chest and I don't think I can get killed in this place, so... lets go all out here."

Yuki sighed and answered, "Its your funeral, but okay."

For the remainder of the day, Yuki and Hiro sparred against one another. They were huffing and puffing by the time they got all of their anger issues settled, and not one of them looked like they had landed a single hit. Yuki was just grabbing a glass of Holy water from the tap within the chamber when he clearly heard a "ding" sound.

The door swung open, meaning their training time was over. Yuki guzzled the water down like it was nothing. He had his arm around Hiro's shoulders amicably and a huge smile was across his face.

It was the first time Shuichi ever saw Yuki smile that broadly before and know it was sincere. "Thanks for the training, Nakano. Who knew a place like that ever existed on this planet, huh? I wonder if it works for pure educational purposes."

Hiro elbowed Yuki and replied, "Now you cut that out, Eiri. You know as well as I do that it isn't intellect that connected you to Shu. It was his spirit. If you aren't careful you may accidentally hurt his feelings."

Yuki chuckled, "I know. I was just joking. See you at the concert tomorrow night."

Hiro waved as he headed towards a stage that was right there in the lounge as he picked up his guitar and began tuning it.

Yuki snuck in behind Shuichi, knowing that Shuichi had not finished reading the book yet, and gave his "brat" a teasing tongue kiss on the nape of Shuichi's neck. "I'm back, Shuichi. Did you miss me?"

Yuki picked up the book. "Careful, my love, this book is my only copy left. I would hate for it to get wrecked. So, are you ready to explore this new land because I am."

"Great, then, lets go," Yuki said, lifting Shuichi into his arms.

Dee then confronted them and said, "Shuichi, you may want to wrap yourself in this while Yuki carries you. Not only will you feel the ultimate in comfort, but, you won't catch a chill. Its cold out there this evening. Yuki's fur already protects him if not the fur, his blood. Saiyan blood can withstand colder temperatures, but not kitties. Oh, and don't worry about falling asleep in Yuki's arms either. Yuki will protect you with his life, I can vouch for that."

After Shuichi was bundled into the warm and cozy blanket, Yuki nodded to Empress Dee as he used the elevator to gain access to the outside. They were after all, on the third floor of a mansion.

"What? And ruin the romantic moment? Shuichi, I wanted to be as romantic as I possibly could be. Besides, I saw you yawning."

Yuki kissed Shuichi back as they exited the mansion on foot. Standing on the main-street of Southtown, near Sound Beach, Yuki looked up at the stars that there were on this clear evening.

"Wow!" Yuki exclaimed, "Look at all those stars, Shuichi. That right there is a perfect setting for one of my novels."

Yuki walked with Shuichi down the street until they got to Happy Park Bridge. Looking both ways before crossing the street, as he always did, Yuki made sure it was clear, but when they got to the center of the road...

A car had struck Yuki on his side!

Yuki wasn't harmed, and neither was Shuichi, but the car that hit them was a total wreck. Stepping out of the car was none other than Rock Howard.

"Oh F!"Rock cursed aloud, "My car's been totalled! And it took forever for Joe to build too."

Yuki was now staring at Rock angrilly. "That will teach you for speeding you little ingrate! Now get home before I get even more upset with you. You are ruining my evening with Shuichi!"

Rock didn't have to be told twice. Leaving the car where it was, Rock changed into his wolf form and dashed to the mansion. "Damn kid," Yuki swore.

Yuki made a growling sound, then focused his eyes softly on Shuichi. He replied with a sigh, "That was Rock Howard. He's Dee's and Terry's kid. Well, adopted kid. Rock isn't supposed to be hot rodding down the streets of Southtown like he did. There's a place for hot rodding and it isn't on public streets. I'm glad you weren't hurt though. I bet Dee will have something to say about it when she sees the wreck."

As they made their way to the park, Yuki began to calm down and really take in the sights of the sky. When they reached the park, Yuki set out the blanket and set Shuichi down on it. Then he sat down on the blanket afterward, staring into the sky and keeping Shuichi warm in a rather romantic hug.

Yuki stretched then replied, "No, I don't think that will be necessary. Dee seems to be the type to know everything around her. She can read hearts like a dragon of legend can. She sees more than with just her eyes. She can hear further than what her own ears can cover. Once she sees Rock's expressions, she will know what happened."
