Tiki padded quickly toward the hunting lesson. She ran and crouched, lanching herself into the nearest tree. The she-wolf seemed to fly through the trees,as she neared her destination, Tiki stopped herself on a large branch of tree on the the outskirts of the clearing where the hunting party were. She leaned forward to look down, trying to spot a wolf or two from her old pack, when she slipped. The brightly colored female cursed as leaves showered over the clearing.

With a slight wag of her tail, Kora picked up her prey's body. It was a bit heavy, but she would do as well as the other pups or die trying. She was about to trudge back to their camp when she noticed that the grey female had sat down and was watching from afar. She was hard to see; Kora could only see her eyes. Knowing how she felt, she walked up to her and tried to say, "Come with?" around her burden.

Rouqie had been about to trot off after the rest of the group when she noticed Kora straying off into the forest. Before she could bark a warning to the young pup, she noticed the saphire eyes.

Rouqie was surprised at the pup's forwardness with the mysterious stranger, but decided it was for the best. They needed more wolves around anyways, safety in numbers and all that.

"Hello stranger." She said cautiously. "My name is ROuqie, this is Kora." She wished the wolf would come out of her camoflauge, as she was, she looked something like a spectre, a familiar of the darkness perhaps. She didn't know how much she could say.

She was about to take another step towards her when suddenly a multi-colored wolf came crashing through the canopy on top of her!

"Owwwwww... She whined.

Prince picked up his pheasant proudley. He started to trot (teetering slightly from the wait of the bird) with the rest of the group, his tail still held high and wagging. He was about to trot up beside Icarus when he heard a crash behind them. He turned and tried to growl around his pheasant. He saw it was another wolf and Rouqie was taking care of it. . .kinda. Prince laughed and turned making way up beside Icarus once again. "Hey, I'm Prince." Prince wagged his tail hoping he could make friends. "What about you?" He sstruggled with the words because of the bird still in his mouth.

xxxxxIcarus peered at the hazy blue-eyed being that had caught the attention of the brown pup and Rouqie. He dismissed the thought of approaching her as his kill was at the forefront of his mind. He reached down and grabbed the pheasant by its chest. The sound of snapping came to him as his sharp teeth bit through the light, hollow bird bones. Satisfied he stood, trying to prove that the weight of this bird meant nothing to him. Instead, he almost fell over. As he began to walk, he saw the red-yellow pup trot up to him. He would've greeted the young one with a wolfish grin, had he not his prey in his mouth.

xxxxx"Ikerr-us" Was what emerged past the feathered body. His ears flattened as the sound came to him. He shrugged it off, figuring the name was as close to his true name as he would get. Pale-blue eyes found the pheasant in the other pup's mouth and he smiled with his eyes. "Naice keel, yeu ware good." The jumbled words hardly made sense, only the basic sounds were undersandable.

Prince tried to smile. "Thanks, you were good to." His words were staggered. He laughed at his own vioce and Icarus's causing the bird to sway in his mouth witch in turn caused Prince to stagger and almost fall on his face. Prince regained his footing, and continued to follow the other wolves acting like nothing had happened.Prince wagged his tail as he looked at the orange pup. He couldn't find anything to say and besides the heavy bird was burdening his speach anyway. Prince tried to smile again and then looked away from Icarus focusing more on what was infront of him.

User Image These sudden distractions would never do. A'cuil's ears flicked up, over and around in order to catch everything at once. Kora wandered off somewhere almost at once; and A'cuil, though alarmed, saw Rouqie follow and figured that the huntress had her well in hand.

That is, of course, until he heard her groan.

Then the wolf charged over in only a few bounds, stopping only to swing the pheasant from his jaws to his broad shoulders. Again, it was a move done only with long practice. The broken bird's body bounced just slightly in his thick fur. "Rouqie, you alright?" He called as he arrived; his eyes scanned the clearing, alighting on the sapphire gleam of a creature which spoke to Kora. He kept his ruby-red eyes on those sapphires for a long moment before looking away. They were not the eyes of some foreign Shadow.

The creature that fell onto Rouqie, however, was a bit less of a mystery. He frowned at the furless legs that tangled in the fall.

Many days had passed since Rebel first came down from the Northern mountains to wander the forests. While growing up in the Sure-Claw pack before its disbandment, he had been educated in the skills of hunting and tracking. Of course, he had skipped more lessons than he attended. Being out on his own, away from the familiarity of the mountains, this made it difficult to rely on his previous training. He did not starve, but he was not the most successful lone wolf either.

He woke that morning near a small brook, lapped up some water, and repeated the procedure from all previous days. Walk, track, hunt, eat, walk. This time, though, he smelled something different: other wolves! With his nose pointed to the ground, he managed to sniff out a general path to follow through the forest. As he made it closer to the others, he slowed his walking and attempted to quiet his tracks. He did not know if they were friendly towards newcomers, but he would do his best to watch them a bit before they noticed him.

Rouqie caught her claws into the dirt and dragged herself out from under the surprisingly heavy thing which had fallen onto her. With a bit of added flair, she shook her dirty pelt and finally turned to see what had fallen on her.

It was a wolf! She stared quizzically at it for a moment, at it's confused, and mostly bashful expression, it looked in every way a normal fae, but for her strange bird-like legs. Having felt her weight herself, she knew she could not fly, but still Rouqie wondered what could have happened to create a creature like this.

"Need some help?" She asked in a low tone, aware of the presence of both the hazy wolf, and now A'cuil's sudden contemptuous glare.

Being from the forest, she had seen many strange creatures, and had learned to be tolerant, apparently in the mountains it was not so. As she sniffed the bird-wolf, her breath caught the scent of something new. Barely there, but noticeable thanks to her training.

Her head whipped up in the direction of the scent, and the direction of the wolf looking back at her with scary eyes.

Ceres watches patiently as the pups kill their prey. When she heard what A'cuil had assigned the pups to do, it had made sense why they had gone after the pheasants. They were a decent size to show the pups how what they kill is generally their responsibility. This was kicked out of her mind as soon as the purplish wolf had spoken, just to find out that her name was Rouqie. Shortly after Rouqie had finished her introduction with the silver wolf, she was knocked down suddenly by a brightly colored heap of fur.

"What is this?" Ceres questioned while looking for signs of movement. Heavy breathing from Rouqie signaled that she was alive. "The impact must have her winded, and hopefully nothing more." She says as soon as she noticed that A'cuil came back. "I'll leave her with you, and I'll keep an eye on the pups." And with that, she trots to catch up to the pups.

Tiki stood up and shook her ruffled pelt, trying to keep what little dignity she seemed to have left. She looked to the side for a moment to see A'cuil's frown. She had to keep herself from trembleing under the large, yet somewhat familiar, wolfs glare.
"Im really sorry," She spoke softly, Tiki was light enough to travel easily through trees, but heavy enough it would injure someone if she fell out of a tree on top of them.

Rouqie padded at the ground, "no, no. I'ts fine." She smiled wolfishly. "I've never seen a wolf like you. Where do you come from?" She hoped the fae wasn't self-conscious and wouldn't take offense. Considering the exotic coloring of her own pelt and that of all the others, she knew she'd fit in well if she decided to stay.

She had not forgotten about the wolf in the bushes, but put that aside for the moment.

[wow you guys move fast!!]

Faiyrn was surprised when the small pup approached her. A little female. When the pup spoke around the pheasant amusement alighted the sapphire gaze. She was amused and also pleased by the pups friendliness. She shook out her fur as Rouqie approached, her grey, smoke decorated fur becoming solid and visible. She smiled at the pup and leaned down to nuzzle her in greeting. "Perhaps little one," she answered her question.

Rouqie introduced herself and the pup and Fay stood, tail wagging and was about to step forward to introduce herself when another female fell from the tree above. Fay tried to say something but was too slow in doing so.

When A'cuil's ruby gaze settled on hers she felt... well, she wasn't sure what she felt. He felt interesting, his presence. He was a skilled hunter, from what she had seen and his presence seemed dominant. Her ears perked forward and her head tipped to the side. This one is... different. Intriguing. she thought idly.

She sniffed Tiki and tilted her head curiously. "Birds...wolves.. Trees. Today has been rather interesting." Her voice was light, melodious and sounded like a light wind on a calm morning. "Are you two alright?" she asked both females. She had seen the pink furred wolf approach and saw the two orange pups talking a few yards away. Her gaze went back to Rouqie who was standing again and she followed her gaze. She saw the strange gaze focused on the group and her fur bristled a little bit. His gaze was..unnerving and she was uncertain if he was friendly or not. She counted heads, subconciously making certain all the pups were accounted for.

"I apologize if I startled anyone. My name is Faiyrn." she introduced herself, since everyone was more or less standing in the same general area. It was also to return the introduction to Rouqie and Kora.

Kora wagged her tail when the strange wolf nuzzled her, reminding her vaugely of the mother she barely remembered.

Kora jumped when she heard a sudden crash a groan from Rouqie. She spun to see a muticolored female on top of her. How did she get on top of her? she wondered. Did she fall from the trees? How did she get up there in the first place?

When she saw Rouqie was fine, however, she turned back to Faiyrn. "You not startle. You intresting." Kora dropped her pheasant to talk. It was true for her, at least.

He watched carefully. Not sure whether to join or to attack the wolves here. It had been a long time since he last saw a wolf as he had wandered by himself for so long, hunting to keep his belly full and sticking usually to places that he recognized. The forest was where his old pack used to roam. They seemed to be friendly at least, all talking together and there were pups so they must be at least good.

"Um... Hello?" Stepping forth to where the wolves could see him, voice a silky deep sound. His hackles were only just raised and his tail brushed. If they wanted to attack him he'd be ready, maybe he wouldn't take them all down but he could still fight. "May I join you?" If they didn't he would just wander off again like he always did, but he hoped to maybe join this rag tag group, to be part of something.
