Oh yeah! Boss fight! Newton put on his best game face and flexed before flying at one of the closest houndoom and using Constrict. It was clear this Drifloon did not know what he was doing. "Wha- Newton, no!" Nyx whisper-snapped at her pokemon. Either he didn't hear her or didn't care. He was, in his mind, being a bad-a**.

Panther nodded. "Shade, take the one in the middle, with Drain punch. Come up from the floor." Normally his pokemon of choice would be weak in this situation, but since that training session with Seth a while back, he had learned a think or two. today it have him an advantage, well work the work it took. He didn't expect the others to have too many advantageous moves. Shade nodded and flowed into the floor coming up underneath the middle houndoom with his drain punch.

Oh goody. This looked like it was going to be fun, and here Jen was with only one pokemon on her. Although Yamir did not possess a type disadvantage against the dark/fire types. But he was smaller and she doubted his level was up to snuff on battling with them.
At the same time...well, she didnt really wanna sit back and watch. Dammit! The grunt bit down on her lower lip in frustration as the Pidgey on her shoulder raised it's talons aggressively at one of the Houndooms. The little pokemon had fighting spirit tonight and even he could tell something drastic was on the line.
"Dont." She held onto one of his wings. "Dont you dare attack unless I tell you to, let alone taunt them."

Uh oh. Something like this was bound to happen, right? The guards seemed so few.. and Houndooms were pretty well known to serve as good guards. Nevertheless, Akemi was startled as a black and red growling apparition leapt in front of her. She had never liked Dark types. Especially when her active companion was at a disadvantage.
She hadn't even reached the bottom of the staircase, so the others would be of no help. She could hear them now, but didn't want to attract any more unwanted attention by calling out to them. "O-okay, Rei, this is gonna be tough, but we have to try!" she said shakily as the Houndoom seemed ready to attack at any second. "Use Signal Beam, it's the only thing we've really got against it!" she commanded then, and the Espeon's forehead gem began to glow, releasing a bright beam towards their adversary.

Well, it looked like everyone else was attacking, so it seemed appropriate he released his shiny Absol now. He flicked the pokeball into the air, a flash a red he wished wasn't so obvious signaled his pokemon's release. "Get as close as you can, try to only drench the one Houndoom with Water-Pulse" Clyde commanded, and Cerberus bounded toward the Houndoom Rei was attacking, it looked like they could use some help. Once the hell-hound was in range, Cerberus released a ring of water at the guard-dog.

Zach saw the houndooms and cursed to himself. Of all the things they chose to guard this place, of course it had to be houndooms. My pokemon are at a severe disadvantage here.
He quickly thought over his options, figuring there wasn't time to wait for an official order, and took out 2 pokeballs. He tossed them, releasing Yasu and Amaryllis. He said quietly, "Ok, Ishiyu go use Hypnosis on the houndoom in the back. Amaryllis use Sleep Powder on the front one, and Yasu, use Mud-Slap on the middle one. Don't let them make too much noise or we are in trouble!"

Lilith saw the others attacking the Houndooms and she racked her brain for any move Ziazan could use that would work against Dark/Fire type Pokemon. Suddenly, she remembered: the Igglybuff knew Water Pulse from a TM that she used earlier. Ziazan might not be as high-leveled as the Houndooms, but if she could help, then she should do all she could. Lilith looked down to the Igglybuff, who glanced at her trainer with a nervousness in her eyes. Lilith smiled comfortingly. "Do your best. Just enough to help if things get rough." Ziazan nodded compliantly and faced towards the Houndooms. Lilith let out the command. "Now, Water Pulse!" The Igglybuff unleashed a ring of water at the far guard dog as the other grunt did.

Never dashed out to the second Houndoom and attempted to bashed it with a Take Down. He made sure not to bare himself against the spiked collar, seeing as he might get hurt. He wished to use some sort of flame against the grim reaper-esque Pokemon, but chose against it. They were part fire . . . he wouldn't cause much damage at all.

Stopping in mid-step, Addison inhaled sharply as the group came to a sudden halt. Houndooms. Great.
Patches probably wouldn't be any good now. Even if he acted as a diversion for the rest of the group, he'd probably get torn apart in the process. No, she'd need him to help steal the pokemon on the ship.
Instead, Addie uncliped a small canister from her belt, twisted the cap and ripped out a pin from its center before deftly tossing it at the group of Houndooms. It hit the floor with a muted click before releasing a small, breif burst of a pepper-spray-esque gas around the tight vicinity of the three hell hounds. Hopefully it'd be enough to distort the gaurd dogs' senses while the Rocket pokemon attacked. Perhaps it was playing dirty, then again, when did Team Rocket ever do anything fairly?

There was the barest inhalation of breath from Hayes and he half-turned at the 'thunk' of paws behind them on the stairwell. Someone coming - and then there was light. Bright light. From several directions. And people seemed to be forgetting that whole 'silence' thing.
"Quietly, guys!" the agent hissed, but the command was probably lost in the flurry of commands.
He looked over at his partner. None of his Pokemon would be of a help here, except maybe one. But when someone tossed what looked like a smoke bomb into the mix he drew his hand away from the Pokeball he'd been about to use.

Jen cursed under her breath as a flurry of attacks and gas cans were launched at the fire pokemon. Allowing Yamir to jump onto her fist as a piece of spare cloth in her pocket protected her nose and mouth from the spray, she motioned for him to mimic was he did to the guards before.
Taking off while trying not to get hit by the flurry of attacks, the tiny pokemon used his speed and size to his advantage; with a tiny click of his beak, Yamir launched himself at the Houndoom Newton was Constricting aiming for the pokemon's temple.
Time to fight or fry!

Everything turned chaotic very quickly, especially as the Houndooms all howled as they attacked.
First was Newton who attacked one Houndoom with constrict. The wrapping of his strings doing little to prevent teeth sinking into him in a crunch attack.
Then Shade appeared and sent a Houndoom reeling with Drain Punch, only to be countered with a flamethrower, and then a crunch from the third Houndoom at the same time.
The Signal Beam from Akemi's Espeon did little, and the Houndoom fired a flamethrower right back. Only to be hit in the back side by a Water Pulse.
Zach's Pokemon then went into action. The Hypnosis failed, but the Houndoom that attacked Newton suddenly fell asleep from the sleep powder. Then one other was struck by mud slap. The Houndooms still awake then turned on Zach's Pokemon. A flamethrower at his Bulbasaur and a Crunch at his Espeon.
Lilith's Igglybuff missed with its Water Pulse. But Never managed to hit the sleeping Houndoom with Take Down, and the Pidgey hit it also.
Then suddenly, pepper bombs exploded in the midst of the three Houndooms. There were yelps of pain as their eyes and noses stung. However, all the Pokemon that attacked them were caught in the middle of it also.
Nikki's jaw dropped in disbelief, holding her Pokeballs as she was just about to release her Eevees when the pepper bombs struck. What the hell!?

Never glared at the Houndoom with utter hate before turning his attention towards a metallic object just roll towards the Houndoom. When the can exploded next, the poor Flareon was too late to make a dash for it. His eyes became inflamed from the pepper bomb's contents and he began to wobble, eyes stinging and watering from pain. He was blinded -- he couldn't do anything now.
Sorano attempted to rush to his rescue but refused to also become blinded by the nippy spray. He was worried, terribly worried. Never was in trouble!

Newton went out in a blaze of failure. That was a glorious example of what not to do. Nyx returned the deflated balloon back to his pokeball. And then the pepper bomb. Nyx covered her mouth with one hand, and sent out her pidgey. She'd wait to send Beaker out when he wouldn't be rendered helpless by pepper gas. "Langley, quiet, and try to gust that gas away from everyone as best you can." She quietly commanded her new little bird friend.

As the fray heated up TRP tossed a Poke Ball forward, calling out Azure. Both Elite and Pokemon winced as they watched the pepper spray canisters erupt in the middle of the fight.
Rather than order attacks on the Houndooms, TRP pointed at the hoard of Rocket Pokemon, "Furin, heal bell. Azure, aqua ring." The two Pokemon nodded and charged into the fight, moving from one Pokemon to the next as they tried to combat the effects of the combined gas and attacks.
