Alpha - Winging it Eli listened, trying not to get distracted by the breaking waves. Granted, surfing in Catalina was pretty pointless. Minimal waves, and the only good waves were on the other side of the island, but the kelp forest would always snag the fins.
Snapping back to reality, he missed half of the things Bella had said, but he got the main points, or he hoped at least.
"Well, my ankle is sore, but I'm sure that's fine. I'm always fine. And, as for normal entrances. Well, your definition of normal might just be too boring. Personally, if I could, I'd imitate Red Bull's project. Breaking the sound barrier, you know, the thinned out atmosphere and what not, break standard terminal velocity, break the sound barrier, go fast, adrenaline rush, that's all that matters... In recreation of course."
As she asked her final question he started taking off his shirt. Underneath, he was already wearing a wetsuit his shorts slid off revealing the rest of the wetsuit.
"It was pretty good, fun, had to take a detour, but all good." He said, not completely with the conversation he had started with Bella. Turning to Hoshi and Wilbur, "What's up guys? Elliot Schaffer, pleased to meet you. I'd shake your hand, but, like life, vacation is limited, best get to the fun, right?" He said, a smirk across his face. A look in his eye, that soon would be the universal sign that Eli was gonna do something he shouldn't, had an idea that was potentially dangerous. The few friends he had knew that look was a look that wasn't to be questioned, nor supported. They never ended well.
His hands dipped below the surface of the water, and he strapped his board back to his feet, and with his powers his board appeared to be floating on the surface of the water. "I'll race ya around the island?" He asked, not waiting for a response he took off, it was something he was gonna do, weather or not the race was happening.
As swells formed, he bent his knees, and shifted his weight, his arms out setting him for balance, turning sharp and getting some air off the swell. It looked a lot like wake boarding, minus the wake. A look of shear enjoyment on his face as he jetted away, as he got further and further, a thought nagged in the back of his head. 'PR? Public Relations? Man, better not be. Some people are stupid.'

Omega: Squirt Gun Revenge Narcissa let another glass ball roll out of her finger tips and onto Kerrigan’s towel. Instead of reaching for more sand, she listened to what her red haired friend had to say, a small, almost familiar smirk playing over her breathtaking features. “Sure you don’t… And I hate diamonds.”Her calm, cold eyes were only distracted by Alek stumbling across the beach… At first she didn’t notice anything different. But then she noticed a lot different… And a lot similar. She would have bet any amount of money that in his brief stint gone from his momma fearest Isabella—He’d gone and gotten himself tanked. Some people never learned. The sun goddess knew very well that watching the three of them sun bathe on the beach was like watching a bay watch on steroids for the male populace—And perhaps some of the women, if memory served correctly. She didn’t blame anyone for glancing once or twice—Although she was amused to find Jack’s gaze mostly on Kerrigan. How cute—Unrequited lust. “I would never laugh. Well, not at you. And of course you aren’t immune… Last time I checked we were all still human.”, Narcissa trailed off for a moment, remembering when her teeth had been fangs… When horns had crowned from her head. “Mostly, human anyway…”
“But it isn’t the biceps you have to worry about… Those are a dime a dozen. It’s that cheeky, annoying little…Personality part. The part that makes you want to hit him in the mouth. The more you love someone, the more you want to kill them.”, she went on simply, sending her red head another smirk—For a moment seeming just like her old self. Dead serious in her words, but with a certain air that was carefree at the same time. “So since you just want to punch him… I’d say you’re in like. Let me know when you want to rip his head off... I'll arrange a bridal party.” That conversation ended when the new Omega, Petra, interrupted. It wasn’t that Narcissa didn’t like accents… Or had a problem with them. She just didn’t have the patience for them, the same way she had no patience for special little Alpha’s. She enjoyed a little play with words every now and again…But for the love of god, what was Emma thinking, giving her Miss Russia pin up of 2010? If the girl said she wanted world peace, Narcissa would relapse. Purposefully. “You seem like a fast learner…Petra”, Narcissa drawled, her eyes flitting to Forellen—Almost pleading. Not quite, but almost. “Teach her. You share a common language—And while I speak French… Teaching languages isn’t my forte.”If one read between the lines of attempted politeness, they would easily read—Teach Little Miss Stalin, Or I’ll pull every string I can to have her deported. Teach, quickly. “I would like to go shopping. Tomorrow. Spread the word to the red soldiers… Also--- I think there’s a bonfire on the other beach tonight. We should all make an appearance… So many hot islanders… So little time.”, she teased, removing any awkwardness with the singular way she had of holding court. And it was, her court, she realized… So many things came back to her, so slowly. But that remained true—She was the Omega Queen, holding court. Though she felt a faint chill that reminded of Carlos… And for a moment she thought she saw him. But she was still—Far to furious with him to care. “You girls see that big hulking boy over there?”, Narcissa went on, a slow grin spreading over her features as she nodded towards Jack. “He’s a dirty boy, who could use a bath—You should take your squirt gun revenge out on him.”

Alpha: 'Five to Seven - Restaurant' Sophia nodded as Raine went away to go find Varian, and hoped he would be in a good mood. Sometimes he ran either completely hot or completely cold—Like a broken tap. Nevertheless, she felt a faint frown cross her features when Shandra declined their invite… She always felt…Inadequate, when standing in front of any of the senior Alpha’s and Omega’s… This was no different. Had she said something wrong? “Are you sure? Ah didn’t mean to choose so fast— Even if you aren’t too terribly famished… We shouldn’t take long… We aren’t that bad of company are we?”, she questioned gently, her eyes flickering to floor, instead of Shandra’s face. She knew that she and Antonio probably had better things to do than to baby sit them- But she genuinely wanted to…Know them, better than just as Eclipse and Gyro. Speaking of Gyro’s, her stomach rumbled it’s protest and she winced—Blushing at the loud sound. Nodding to Christian’s assessment she smiled at Shandra and Antonio shyly, her hands folding… “We better go if we want to get a table… But if you change your mind, you should come join us… We’d be happy to have you.”She turned and followed Christian, but not before turning back towards them… “We’ll get an extra big table—Just in case!”Raine would catch up soon with Varian she hoped. ** At the restaurant, there was a short, perhaps five minute wait… Much less than she thought it would be. The maître d’ sat them at a decent sized table by her request. Of course, they would seem a little silly at a six person table when there were only two of them. But at the very least, one more person should be showing up… And if not, they just had more elbow room. Sophia ordered a sweet tea with strawberries and blueberries in it—Finding that most of the normal drinks she would have ordered were abit strange. Except the coke products… She took a seat across from Christian, resting her head against the back of the chair as she watched the sun start to sink even lower… It was an awesome sight on the crystal clear water. There seemed to be some kind of show in the middle of the open area, a man with a flaming wand, spinning it rapidly… Her eyes widened with wonder as he did something strange, and then blew a plume of fire outward. She wasn't sure if he was a mutant, or just a very cool human.

Omega - Confessions of a Crazy Guy to a Crazy Girl
Carlos wanted to fake a smile if only to make Evie feel more welcomed then his state would allow but he couldn't even force himself he was too tired. So instead he spoke plainly, her speech on not judging him giving him less worry to do so. " Your not the least bit condescending, or over bearing. And you know me, aren't afraid of me. So your more welcome then others... If I asked you leave and you stayed out there I would feel like the bad guy I always seem to look like. I'm tired of that Eve." He reached under his bag to grab his shades and put them on as she came close and put an arm around him That soft friendly kiss of comfort. He lifted his head to look at her from behind the shades, more comfortable doing so as he himself didn't like the gaze of the golden ones they had become.
" You've always been crazy Chica. You just never been evil at the same time. You've seen what I would become at the worst. Nobody else really knows. So when they see me going out of my mind they just assume I'm cracking under stress...". He was quiet and staring back at the ground. Tracing lines with his finger, and taking Evie's weight as if she wasn't there. He held up his hand for her to see and looked inside himself for a moment before blue flame licked up from his palm, and eventually covered his hand. " Since we found out. I've been trying to do this. Control it. Now it's easier. But everyone is just more suspicious..., His hand put out and he dropped it. He drew some more lines in the sand.
A small diagram. Some symbols. Things distinctly similar to what they might have seen in Limbo. He stopped and left it alonf sighing. Reminded how out of his mind he looked. He hadn't the faintest of what it all meant but it was something that seemed familiar to him. Since before the recent venture. " I didn't even want to come back... I would've stayed in Limbo. Atleast then I wouldn't have hurt anyone. Magik finds and does something to me now I'm back here cept not really myself. The only good thing is I can deal with my problems, by not feeling them. Somethings still get to me, which is why I'm out here now. But with only my thoughts I don't feel guilty. So long as it stays this way I don't care if I ever get better."
He removed Evie's arm from around him and laid back staring up at the ceiling he made. " A problem, trouble, headache, evil, b*****d, jerk, idiot. I seem to be everything but Carlos now a days. Sick of it... Guess the real Vacation for me is that I need a break from them." His emphasis on certain words would hopefully make it clear exactly what he meant. As far as he cared, Evie being gone for two months was all the break he would have needed from her. She was welcome around, compared to everyone that had been around to criticize him. He thought back to what that implied for Cissa and Kerrigan and his answers were mixed with the twinges of his emotions that tried to surface. Fondness, anger, sadness. He gave up on it as he looked up at Evie expecting her to start maybe giving the unlikely speech that he should go back. Critical to see if she really meant what she said about not judging him. It wasn't exactly right to him. He didn't want to drag her to his side, but really he couldn't kid himself. He had virtually no one.

Alpha - Finding Something Fun to Do
Jack was kinda wondering why Omega eye candy was all gathering just a few feet from him. His gaze had left them for sometime knowing somehow he had been made out not that it was hard. A new addition caught his attention, at least new as far as he could remember. She looked foreign, but gorgeous. The deviant look on her face that kinda matched Narcissa's though when the blond glanced in his direction though sent some silent alarm off in the back of his mind. With that sinking in he only gave one final glance as the Volley ball game was over and stretched his arms out with a yawn as he picked himself up. Having planned to be lazy practically all of this vacation entertaining himself in other ways never really crossed his mind.
He had planned to go shopping, just not to today. Too soon, and he'd like to relax a day or two before venturing off into a town whilst unfamiliar with it's layout. He gave one final twist to stretch out his lower back and walked across the beach, Crossing the Omega girls he was gawking at without another glance, trying to avoid and reason for a confrontation. He was heading towards some rocks that the waves were crashing against. He wasn't entirely sure what he would when he got there but if all else fails and it was safe, jumping would definitely be fun.

ALHA it's just a little foot race Wilbur liked Hoshi. They had a lot in common and she was very frank with her questions. He sensed that he would like to get to know her better, especially on the missions where the two would most likely, Wilbur thought, be put to use doing the same things.
“Yeah, I noticed they looked a little beat up when you had them extended.” Wilbur commented on her wings. “An Alpha? Really? That’s awesome!"he said. “I never imagined I could get this lucky,” he laughed.
Just as Hoshi started asking questions, his captain, Isabella, began talking to both him and the guy in front, Eli. Well, she yelled at Eli…and hit him. And I’m supposed to like her? Wilbur thought to himself. From where he was standing, Isabella looked straight up abusive. But for now, he would smile politely and say “Hello,” with a contented grin. He hadn’t gotten a chance to answer Hoshi’s questions before Isabella started asking some of her own. Wilbur smiled apologetically to Hoshi because he was about to completely blow her off for a moment. Isabella made mention of his clothes and he noticed that he’d shown up with only a white shirt and denim bermudas. And that he managed to leave his very expensive shoes on the sailboat that he rode in on. So if the shoes and shirt laws applied here, Wilbur couldn’t very easily go shopping.
She formally introduced Hoshi and another guy, Gideon. Wilbur wasn’t sure how he felt about Gideon at the moment. He’d have to wait and see, but this guy seemed cold and kind of angry. Which led Wilbur to believe that he was always like that, because honestly they were on vacation and it’s very hard to be mad unless you’re always like that.
“Hey,” he said anyhow. He didn’t smile.
His attention was brought back to Isabella, who was very attractive; only noticing this after he was introduced to Mr. Grumpy Gills. “Yeah, I got here okay. The airport let me sail here by myself…well, kind of by myself. They insisted some lady come with me, which ended up making sense because I took one of the marina’s sailboats, so they needed it back. But it was good. Thanks for the warm welcome.”
Eli spoke fast and was very frank about his diction. Wilbur hadn’t even gotten a chance to say hello before Eli refused to offer a handshake, which wasn’t that important, and offered a race instead. Wilbur didn’t like him either. Maybe he was being overly pessimistic about the other guys, but none of them came off as nice as any of the girls did. So far he wasn’t having fun, and Eli offering a race and then just taking off without waiting for an answer just about set him off his rocker. He pleaded to his new captain with his eyes, as if to ask if it were okay to race. His eyes shifted to the already far mutant and he couldn’t control himself.
He corkscrewed his body deep into the sand, using the air to push his knees down farther than they wanted to go on their own. When he was crouched as far as he was going to go, he pushed the air down hard and fast enough to shoot him in the air. He torpedoed as he leveled himself out about forty feet in the air. He spotted Eli and dove far enough to fly right next to him. Eli was fast; fast enough that Wilbur had to keep pushing the air.
“Hey, you’re good at this!” Wilbur had to yell so his voice wouldn’t get lost on the wind. He kept having to dodge confused bystanders so as not to run into them. At this speed, he could give someone a serious concussion. He smirked at Eli and pushed himself just a little faster, to play with the kid.

⌠Ω+M+ε+G+α⌡- One of the new guys is a Torpedo!? Whoever said getting lost in thought on a beach full of mutant teenagers was a bad idea? Well maybe no one has ever said it specifically, but it just sounds like a bad idea especially when pointless testosterone was flowing through an adrenaline junkie, but hey who was Leion to suspect any pointless testosterone battles taking place? Unbeknown to Leion on the other side of the beach two Alphas were talking before the other jetted off starting a race that may or may not end badly for someone who wasn't even participating. It was one of those moments where everything slows down Leion's head snapped in the direction of the sounds made by fast movement, the two new Alphas, presumably as they had been waiting to talk to Bella, were flying (literally in one case) across the beach. They were moving dangerously fast and if Leion didn't move quite soon the Alpha's new Flyer would collide directly with his side, not knowing if the new guy was paying enough attention to dodge bystanders. Now if it had been one of the known Alphas or, well definitely if it had been the long unseen Reikon (Leion wasn't over the ruining of his food so long ago), Leion would have done something to make them lose the race like jumping up and forcing them down into the sand. However Leion was a sucker for wanting to have a good relationship with all the newbies, Alpha or Omega. He only had a split second to make the decision of dodge or stay; if he stayed the guy may swerve and miss him, if he dodged and the guy swerved the he had a chance of still being hit. At the last second Leion closed his eyes and blasted himself in a direction he hoped would get him out of the collision course of Alpha Boy. . .

Omega-Eat drink and be merry Antonio looked at Shandra as she decided not to join the group. He was confused for a moment, but then he remembered the discussions that they had over the past few years about her digestive system. He smiled at the redhead. "Roja are you sure. You do not have to eat if you come with us, especially if you are not hungry. We would all like your company, I know I would especially enjoy it." He said winking his good eye. He lowered his voice to a whisper so that only Shandra would be able to hear it. "If it comes to it and you would like to eat after this, I will fix you up something when we get back to the combo, I will title it Experimentos en Naranjo. I hope you like oranges." Chuckling he looked back to the group that was assembling.
He smiled gently at Sophia who was looking at the ground. "Nonsense, you guys are wonderful company, Shandra had some things that she wanted to do today as well, though I feel that they could wait for a bit yes?" He gave Shandra a questioning look, trying to convince her to join them. If only he could talk to her head like Emma could, it would make things far easier. Shrugging he followed Sohpia and Christian as they walked down the street to what he assumed would be the restaurant.
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
It was only a short wait before they were seating, no doubt because of the charming smile he flashed the hostess, they might even get a discount. He walked over to the table and sat next to Sophia. Smiling at waitress, he ordered a Mango margarita, something perfectly legal as his id clearly stated that he was 21. He smiled and thanked the girl who brought him his drink. Had he not been horribly disfigured he would have tried flirting wit the girl to make her blush, but that of course was out of the questions.
He leaned back and watched the fir breather with a smile. It was quite amazing how the flames seemed to compliment the setting sun, creating a breath taking view. He could see the Sophia herself was quite enamored with the view, not that he could blame her.
He smiled thinking back. This was supposed to be a chance to get to know some of the newer people that he had not gotten a chance to yet, so he might as well start a conversation. "I used to be a street performer you know, before I joined the x-men." He said To the group at the table
Omega - Waitin, Shootin' The Breeze, Reflecting
The wait wasn’t too consuming to get a table, thankfully. When the hostess took them to the rather spacious table, Christian thanked her with a nod and a smile. It was just himself, Sophia, and Antonio so far. Hopefully, within a short bit of time, Raine and Varian would be joining them. While the trio waited for the others to show up, drinks were ordered, and if Christian wasn’t underage, he probably would have had a beer. That was a small leisure that his grandfather allowed him after returning from an extended hunt. Only one or two, nothing more.
Slowly, Christian sipped at his glass of water, not flinching when he felt the increasing heat behind him. Across the table, he could see the wonderment filling Sophia’s eyes as she watched the fire dancer in the open courtyard. That was something he could never get enough of some days, and seeing the colors of the setting sun dancing in her eyes was definitely something he couldn’t and wouldn’t soon forget. Something else he never forgot was the initial meeting between himself and Sophia…
**********************
The training session was going relatively smoothly that day. Christian was throwing himself headlong into the ‘battle’ against one of the other training squads. He’d only been a resident at the institute and felt like he had something to prove… that he needed to fit in the grand scheme of things, that despite the passive nature of his mutation, that he could still be a viable part of a team. It was just his luck that everyone on the team he was fighting against didn’t really possess an energy based ability. Thankfully, he was allowed to carry a training pistol. His team’s advisor obviously played to his individual charges’ strengths. The pistol was nothing that did too much damage, it was more akin to a lasertag gun… but it packed the punch of an annoyed hornet. Christian knew cause that’s what people on the other squads told him it was like.
Things were starting to pick up, and Christian was having to duck and dodge various objects being tossed around and evading others who were hunting him down. The simulation they were running at that particular time was a basic warehouse set up, with a virtual ton of storage containers, crates, and various other forms of cover. It was while he was avoiding one of his opponents that could turn themselves into an animal, that he made an accidental discovery.
Christian was sure he heard someone throughout the chaos that unfolded. It was when he thought that he was spotted that he stumbled upon the source. A short brunette… who seemed to not have a feeling for this simulation at all, she was kneeling and hiding behind the crates to avoid being spotted. Christian didn’t recognize her at all from his team; the different colors of their training uniforms told him all that he needed to know. Without hesitance, he drew his pistol and aimed it at her chest. Cowering and avoiding the battle or not, she was the ‘enemy’. And they were playing elimination style for this particular assignment. It was then that he hesitated briefly. He thought for a second… and one second longer… then twirled the pop gun on his finger and holstered it immediately. Then, being the kind young man that he was… he offered to help the as of yet unknown young woman to her feet. Unfortunately, with his guard down, he was tackled from behind and eliminated from the competition…
**************************************
While he was lost in thought, he found himself staring a bit at Sofie. He hoped she didn’t notice and quickly shifted his attentions elsewhere. Out of the corner of his eye, Christian looked to his left and watched the sun melting into the ocean. A smile crept over his face as he recalled that particular memory with a certain fondness. Because of that chance encounter, he forged what he thought was one of the strongest friendships he had at Xavier’s. Granted, he had friends in the school, and his teammates on the Omegas were pretty solid for the most part, the small group he had ‘grown up’ with through the training squads were that much more.
His thoughts were derailed when he heard Antonio mention that he used to be a street performer before joining the X-Men. Christian’s smile grew bigger when he heard the guy say that.
“For some reason, ’Tonio,” he said, “That don’t surprise me at all.” Christian wasn’t one to make assumptions about anyone, but he got the vibe that the Omegas resident gyrokinetic was pretty much suited for the performing arts; he just had that personality. “Can’t say much on my end,” Christian said between sips of his water. “Been huntin’ since I was a youngin’. Guess that’s why I like hangin’ around outside most of the time.”
When he finished speaking, that section's waitress came by their table and was offering to take the trio’s order, but Christian was quick to chime up, opting to wait for the others to show up. It’d be rude for the group at the table to be eating without everyone that intended to come along.
Alpha: In the Dark... figuratively
She let him talk and listened to every last word, watched every movement. Let her arm hit the ground with a dull thud as he moved it away from his shoulders. She wasn't offended. Mostly, she had great empathy for him. His words were true, but she had watched herself evil once.... in a possible future. She lived out herself selling her soul and murdering many. It was as close to pure evil she every saw herself get. It bothers her to this day that she possibly could become that person or a version of her in a reality some where could be that way... but for her, the fact was that she isn't that person.
Pressing her lips together to find her words, she leaned against the wall and stretched her legs in front of her. She had no intention on going anywhere. Carlos needed somebody by his side. Maybe she was the perfect person since she really had no clue what he or anybody had gone through for the past however long. In her mind, they were all the same as when she left. And even if she did know all the details more than whispering she picked up here and there, it probably wouldn't change her stance. Evie hardly was one to jump on rumors or let others influence her decisions.
"I can see it on your face. You're waiting for a patent Evie speech," She kept making rhythmic motions in the sand with her fingers, "I've given the ol' give 'em a chance and go out and conquer speech numerous times... but I've no desire to do that to you. This is different."
"The only thing I will tell you as it was told to me by Logan... we have choices and nobody is going to make them for us. So it's up to you to choose your path and it's your right to make it. You can't control what other people think of you, only what you think of you."
"Carlos, for what it's worth, you're nothing but Carlos to me," She tilted her chin down to look at him and really only saw the person she knew since she was about sixteen or seventeen years old. Sure the lines on his face were different, the color of his eye... wear from the past months. But he was still the same to her.
"I may be older but I'm still the same person that you used to play silly cat and mouse games with, and I'm here for you. And that's all I've got on the matter," She smiled, laid back and looked at the ceiling as well, "I'm rather impressed with how quickly you constructed this thing. It's pretty good."
Alpha - Dancing With Disaster Eli was lost in his own world, floating just above the white wash. He let the board skim down and hit the water as a small little after wave sprawled across the drenched sand. He kicked his shifted his back heel then as he came to the bump in the water, he shifted his heel's weight again, breaking the smooth rhythm of the wave.
A few seconds later, the other new guy, Wilbur Pulled up quickly and hollered something, which took a few seconds for him to think about what was just said, with out the wind messing with his understanding. Eli smirked, one thing he liked, was being noted for his abilities, mutant or non mutant abilities.
Eli's eyes narrowed as Wilbur pulled ahead of him. It was time to stop messing around the water. Eli pulled away and tailed behind the flier. Tailing behind Wilbur allowed for something very often seen in NASCAR. Never in his life did Eli think he'd need to thank a 'Non Athletic Sport Centered Around Rednecks.' Something he often said NASCAR stood for. But, this particular move, was drafting. And as soon as there was a clean stretch with people out of the way, he'd take it.
And that opportune moment came. A person had blasted himself out of the way. Which in turn drew attention to Eli and his competitor. People scrambled out of the way off the way. Kicking his heel back, and leaning forward He pulled right and began to use his powers fully. Pushing himself past Wilbur and hoping he wouldn't catch onto the drafting trick. "You're good too, I haven't had a good race in a long time!" He yelled, it may have been hard considering Eli was strapped to the board and if he turned to make himself more audible, it'd be the end of the race.
As they pushed further in their race. Eli spotted ahead, a group of girls, stunning beauty at that. 90% of the time, very attractive females who cloistered together were the top of the food chain in the female world. Those were girls Eli didn't like. Unknowing of who these girls were, Narcissa, Petra, Kerrigan, Forellen, and Maddy. One of which being the Omega team leader, he leaned back, dipping the edge of the board to skim the sand. As he passed them, the sand kicked up covering their towels and spraying the girls as well.
He let out a laugh as he leaned forward into his original position then looked forward, looking to find Wilbur who was either about to catch the lead or already in the lead do to Eli's little stunt he detoured himself to.
Omega:Catalina - It's Not Smart to Instigate a Redhead...Especially One With Powers  Kerrigan grinned back at her blonde roommate, tossing her red hair over her towel as she was reassured that her feelings towards the Alpha giant were relatively normal. Of course, the thought of other girls looking at him made a small pit form in her stomach, though she neither voiced nor showed any change of emotion on her outer expression. The Omega leader continued to explain that the feelings of wanting to beat his face in with each cheeky remark were a sign that she might actually be in like with the boy, a notion she simultaneously accepted and revolted. For now, she could hardly admit it to herself, let alone other people. Apparently she was a lot more transparent than she thought, but it was not something she could admit out loud just yet. " Well, if you start catching me acting like a complete ditz, you know what to do." The redhead's green eyes flitted over the new Omega as she made an appearance, her lips forming a soft smile as Cissa pleaded with their multi-lingual companion, Forellen, to help the new girl with her English. Kerrigan knew that it was nothing necessarily personal about the comment, but more just admitting that the blonde did not have the time or patience to give the girl enough attention that she needed with a language barrier between them. Thankfully, the conversation switched to what they were going to do while they were here, the redhead glad that Narcissa agreed to go on a shopping trip with them. At the very least, it might bring a bit of the old blonde back with them. She made a mental note to send a message around to the Omegas about the excursion. It might be something that many of them want to get in on. The blonde motioned towards Jack, a mischievous smile spreading across the Omega Queen's features as she suggested that they go clean him off with some "squirt gun revenge". Propping herself up on her elbows as she looked in his direction, seeing him lumber towards a rock formation not too far off, the redhead grinned, the looks of a race around the beach catching her attention. Some of the players were people that she did not recognize, meaning that they probably just joined the more active teams. As they passed, her eyes followed them, though she managed to cover her face in time as one of the new Alphas dipped his board into the sand, sending it spraying over them. Her eyes narrowed after him as she heard him laugh in passing, the redhead tossing her hair over her shoulders as she got to her feet. It was not the sand that managed to set her off - it was the fact that he did that on purpose without even knowing them. Normally she would be the one stepping in to make sure that the Omega leader didn't fry him to a crisp for his actions, but this time she felt the need to take care of it herself. Her eyes continued to follow him and the rest of the race down the beach, the redhead glanced back at their small group, face set. " I'll take care of this," she said with a small grin, grabbing one of the glass balls that Cissa laid on her towel and jogging down the beach as she grabbed a conveniently located skimboard along the way. Tossing it out ahead of her as she watched others on the beach do before her, the redhead jumped onto the board, her form mimicking that of the other boarders as they made their way down the beach. It took some getting used to the board, considering she had never really ridden one before. It was times like this that she was glad her powers naturally kicked in, her green eyes constantly scanning those ahead of her to pick up the tricks and form that they held. It wasn't too long before she managed to somewhat catch up to them, the redhead taking the glass ball she brought with her and throwing it with almost expert accuracy towards the sand-thrower ( Eli) in hopes of knocking him off his board. Kerrigan was a pretty laid back person as far as those at the Academy went, but this new kid found just the right instigator to get her really going.
Alpha: Sound Barriers... Bella nodded her head to Wilbur almost immediately when he glanced at her—Not wanting to give Eli a more unfair advantage. What, with his special odd water board and the head start he already had. Wilbur was already tearing after him as she spoke, “Shoo, go! Be careful!”
Isabella shook her head indulgently when the two new boys sped off. They were going to be a handful… And she didn’t mind. Introductions could wait…It was good to have some life back in the Alpha’s. So many of them had become so… Battle hardened… She hated that about herself. Hated that she brought it to the others. But knew she didn’t have choices… She wouldn’t be joining the race the two boys had, as much fun as it looked.
Her powers ensured that she broke the sound barrier effortlessly, and without thought or repercussion—If she wished, she could move faster than the eye could follow. If she raced them, using her powers, she would lap them a dozen times over—Years of experience not forgotten.
It just wouldn’t be fair.
“Boys will be boys…”, she spoke to Hoshi with a light smile, “You should join them…”
She continued making her way to the shore, murmuring a few farewells to Gideon under her breath… She knew he would hear… But she had… Problems, accepting he wanted to be alone with, and comfort the one person who continuously wanted to rip out her rib cage and wear it as a hat. Speaking of Narcissa, she glanced towards where she’d seen the aristocratic blond last—Wincing just as she saw Eli speed up and slam them with sand.
Isabella swore, creatively in spanish.
That, was exactly what she’d meant by PR—Public Relations. Well, one of the things she’d meant. Alpha’s were automatically… Lower on the food chain than Omega’s in some peoples eyes, because Isabella chose to lead with acceptance and care—And Narcissa chose an absolute cruel dictatorship. Alpha's were stereotypically the 'good' team, whereas the Omega's were the 'trouble makers'. Other than that, she was going to give a small speech on keeping their power use to a minimum in front of islanders... But now it was time for damage control.
She was out of the water, a mere blur as the water vibrated off of her form—Standing dry and apprehensive before Narcissa in an instant, protective of her new Alpha. As she was of all Alpha's. Bella let Kerrigan pass, because she knew that the red head wouldn’t permanently injure him… One good prank deserved another...
The recently liberated, formerly bat s**t crazy Omega leader wasn’t known for ‘taking a joke’. She didn't know if the Narcissa that sat on the towel was one that knew that maiming humans was a crime, or one that thought it was fun.
“He’s new. He doesn't know any better-- It's only fun.”, Isabella stated automatically, firmly, on the offensive. If she gave Narcissa an inch... The blond would take her for an unpleasant ride. "I'll handle the blue."
Town – This is what I get for being Seen Shandra softened a little at Sophia’s tone. Well, looked like her plan to gently back out didn’t work quite like she meant it to. There was something…delicate about that girl. Weak. She was lucky to be on the Alpha’s in that case, a delicate flower didn’t last long under scorching heat.
“You’re not bad company…” Shandra said quietly in Sophia’s direction.
She leaned in a little as Antonio spoke about a meal with oranges. An amused smile slipped onto her face. Experimenting with food was sometimes dangerous, but then again that’s mostly what her life was. One cautious experiment after the next, testing her limits and trying to find a way past them one way or another. Or finding out just how much she didn’t want to push past them.
“I’ll…join you in a few minutes?” Shandra spoke almost timidly, unsure if that would be alright or not. At the very least, she wanted those itchy stitches out.
Looks like she was finding a clinic to sneak into.
~.~.~.~.~.~.~.~.~.~
Shandra idly rubbed her hand against the area where she’d manually taken the stitches out herself. She knew a healing area always itched, but this was almost like a ghost feeling. She was just very thankful she’d gotten them out…even she could tell that her skin was starting to grow over it.
As she moved through the city, she couldn’t help but shake the feeling of someone following her. She moved her red hair over her shoulder, her eyes flickering back as she entered the Café that Sophia had chosen. The look she managed to get of the area she’d just left behind did not help with the feeling of being followed.
In fact now she knew she was. She knew what someone looked like when they were following someone…she had done it way to often to not know the signs. But these…guys didn’t…they weren’t especially good at playing innocent. Without turning to look back at them, Shandra moved through the Café. Best to do in this situation, as far as she knew, was to pretend she had no idea what was up.
That gave her the advantage of knowing and them thinking they were still just following the average tourist girl. Sitting down at the table as casually as she could, which was fairly easy since she wasn’t a very stiff person by nature, Shandra simply shook her head at the person who was offering for her to try the house drink actually on the house.
"Sorry, took me a minute...I had to go do something," Shandra said quietly towards Sophia, Christian and Antonio, idly rubbing her hand over the area where she had ghosts itches as she turned down the house drink...for the second time since she'd walked into the place.
It wasn’t the first time she’d been offered drinks, she just hadn’t had it happen in a while. Then again usually when she went out she wasn’t exactly there to be seen. Shandra mentally shook her own thoughts. Right now wasn’t the time to think of the fact that she was out of her norm in public…
She wanted to figure out why those people were following her. It just meant that she had to be in public…just a little more…
How to buy time…
“Did…anyone forget anything in New York?” Shandra spoke up after sipping on the water that one of waiters had graciously served to her. “I mean…”
Shandra bit her lip. This…was going to be awkward. But she needed to know if it was just some random punks, or something more. Just their luck it could have been some upstarts trying to cause more trouble than normal because they were mutants…or they were x-men, probably both. Dragging it out might give them the time to notice it…or at least for her to figure it out…
She should just spit it out.
Shandra took another sip, knowing she was just going to be signing her warrant one way or another.
“Do you…want to go shopping?” Shandra questioned looking directly at Sophia.
Yes…she was doomed.
Omega: Red Queen - Returning Back Inside the Condo Narcissa was supremely pleased with herself, for not having small anxiety attacks with every new individual that was added to their sun bathing entourage of sexy women. Antonio would have been overly pleased and at home with them. Sad, that he wasn't about... It was not something that would have bothered her previous to the past month of her life—She reveled in being the center of things. And while it was slowly becoming less…Horrifying… It still wasn’t the same. Much about her, wasn’t the same. Sand splashed her in the face, in her open mouth—Stinging her eyes as her hands rose, head turning to avoid the rest of it. A snarl tore from her before she could swallow it as she wiped at her eyes… Blinking with disbelief at her attacker. For a moment, she thought Reikon was back. It was something that had his trade mark all over it… And screamed, Alpha. Stupid, inane, special—Alpha. She spat grit out of her mouth. She barely registered that she had new members to her own team… Let alone new ones to the Alpha’s—As insane as the last week had been. Recuperating from being tortured, driven insane, and nearly made the mistress of a demon lord with ambitions of would domination had really taken some of the initiative out of her. But it hadn’t done a thing to change her anger. “Handle it, or I will...”, she spoke to Kerrigan’s retreating back, feeling her eyes fill with a familiar white light in response to her emotions—She couldn’t swallow it down before it showed, the immediate area around her dimming then brightening, a sudden flare of heat exuding from her. Not enough to burn anyone near her, but noticeably different. It didn’t help matters any that the bloody Alpha leader was suddenly in her face—As if she had been the one to do something wrong. Her anger intensified… Worsening. She recognized the way that Stone was looking at her, and the anger suddenly gave way to weariness… It was as if she were a ticking time bomb. In a way, she supposed she was. “Newness is no excuse for blatant rudeness and disrespect—Unless he was raised by barbarians in a backwards culture during the stone age.”, she bit out coldly, rising to her feet—Not one to let Isabella stand taller than her in any situation. Her white eyes held not care, no sight of blue… Only heat, hellfire white. She felt her anger swell, she struck out quickly and grabbed Isabella by the upper arm and yanked her forcibly several paces away from the other Omega’s. She knew that the…Exquisite heat Isabella felt on her arm would keep her…Compliant—Unless she started with the mind tricks. Isabella wouldn’t hurt her. She didn’t believe in it. Narcissa didn’t have any qualms and let the heat from her palm go up a notch in warning. “Control your bloody Alpha, Stone. You don’t see a single one of my Omega’s treating you like that… I don’t have the time, or the patience for another Arctic wannabe—”
“Who, by the way, is drunk, again—Passed out, on the beach. If you won’t teach them who not to screw with just because it’s bloody fun—I’ll be happy to show them the ropes. Elixir and Angel aren’t here to help them. It will be painful.”, she hissed furiously, speaking lowly enough that her Omega’s wouldn’t be able to understand what she was saying. It was…Detrimental to leading, to let the pawns hear one leader…Speak, with the other. “And you—Stay the hell out of my face. Because of you, from this point on, the Alpha’s get whatever they have coming to them.” Narcissa didn’t care to listen to what Bella had to say—Never trusting a word that came out of her mouth. If it made her feel too agreeable, to complaint—She knew that Stone was using her powers to influence her, and she hated it. She hated the way Isabella had come up to her—Acting as if she was going to flay the kid alive. And if that was what Isabella was going to think, then Narcissa would prove her right. She didn't care what damage she did to Isabella... She deserved it, and more, for the millions of times she'd used her powers against her. Usually to save one of her idiot children. "I'll see all of the Omega's at the bonfire tonight-- It's on the main beach. Pass the bloody word along!", she snapped towards Forellen, Maddy, and the others still sitting. Her anger there was misplaced-- But most of them would be used to it by now. It was nothing personal... She generally liked her Omega's. So long as they were... Hers. Her emotions were still out of whack...The grip she had on herself tenuous...Things like this pushed her back to breaking. The sun goddess stalked from the beach, her footsteps unconsciously leaving glass imprints behind that glittered in warning. She left her things on the beach and went inside, passing the others without a thought as her eyes returned to blue—The scorching heat tucking back into her core. Bloody, Alpha’s.
