Grinning at her, more muddy than wet. "Have you dried off enough?" Looking at her ankle again, leaning down and placing his horn against it, closing his eyes and trying to make it better, though nothing actually happened.

She felt a tingle that made her ankle feel a little better but it still hurt some. "I hope so" she said with a smile as she looked at the rocks again, she stretched her wings out full and wiggled them, once again changing the shapes. "Do you remember what we have to do when we turn? Was it just tilt the wing?"

Sonnet looked up and straightend. "If we want to turn right we lower the right wing and lift the left a little, and if we want to turn left we lower the left wing and light the right a little..." Pretty sure thats what Maion had said. Thinking over it as he tries moving his wings like that going round in the little circles again.

Sonnet looked up and straightend. "If we want to turn right we lower the right wing and lift the left a little, and if we want to turn left we lower the left wing and light the right a little..." Pretty sure thats what Maion had said. Thinking over it as he tries moving his wings like that going round in the little circles again.

Nodding and moving over to the start point again. "Ok lets!" Not sre who was going to count so when she joined him and looked ready he did. "On 3... One... Two.... Three!"

Chandra jumped when Sonnet had called three. She did her best to follow all the instructions from her fathers lessons. Not much happened at first, she felt herself start to drift to the water. Before she allowed herself to flap her wings and force herself up a little. "I'm doing it... I'm doing it...."

Sonnet had also jumped on the count of 3, so when Chan called that she was doing it he was a little too occupied with what he was doing to actually look. "Keep doing it!" Not having a clue what else to say, his wings working to keep himself in the air, and to turn a little like he was meant to be practicing. Managing to turn a little before he had to do more flapping to stay in the air, though he was finding none of this easy.

Chandra smiled at her just before she came crashing into the water just short of the shore. Typical that she still couldn't do it... but at least she was getting better. Turning to look at her friend she smiled and called encouragely. "You can do it! Keep it up Sonnet!" She wanted to shout more to him, but the words her father had used seemed to escape her now.

Sonnet was gritting his teeth with focus, though trying to turn the other way ended up in him doing a full circle before he could get himself under control again, so he tried again and ended up in a spiral and splashing into the water, well it was more mud than water. Getting up when he was sure nothing was hurt he started walking to where Chan was, more dark brown now than any other colour. "I always seem to find the mud..." He started laughing at that and smiled at her.

Chandra nipped his mane playfully. "Yes, you are my little mud magnet!" She said with a giggle. She smiled and started to walk back to the rocks for another try. "...but it sure suits you!" She said with a giggle. "Again?"

"Sure!" He was game to give it a go but he was feeling much heavier now. Walking along with her to the rocks and giving her a smile. "You can count this time."

She looked to him. And then kissed his nose swiftly and softly, "For luck." She said before truning her attention to the water, her wings spread wide before she counted. "One." She got her body into possition to fly, "Two," She wiggled her wings to make sure she was ready, "THREE!" She jumped off. He wings spread and manovered just like she had been instructed as she tried to catch the breeze and glide a little before flying.

Sonnet started pumping his wings, really having to work, the mud stuck all over hi fur adding weight that was making getting airborne difficult. His wings starting too ache before he had even thought about trying to turn. All the extra work taking him higher where there was more of a draft, so when he tried turning he caught the air and glided in a turn. It wasn't neat but it was a turn, though he lost height as he glided because of the weight he was carrying.

Chandra turned her wings softly and tried her best to turn, she was slightly higher than Sonnet and could see that he was struggling, lowering herself she placed herself beside him and smiled. "Ok... I think you need a wash! You ok?" Just as she spoke her hooves made contact with water and mud spalshing it all around her. "YUCK!" She said as she squirmed.
