Saying no doesn't make you a b***h. Being a tease does, though. Which I don't think you are.

No xD I'm not going to advertise something I have no intent of delivering. It's not like I ever invited him to feel me up or anything- I never even let the guy kiss me. Once I realized he was a creep I made it pretty damn clear I wasn't interested in, er.... anything neutral

I'm friendly by nature, yes, I'm sure there's SOMEONE out there that would define me as a 'tease' despite the fact that I don't actively flirt.

I got someone at my first job fired for sexual harassment, he'd probably describe me as a tease. But, y'know, if a thirty-something career delivery boy who smells like a** gets super close to a (then) eighteen year old virgin girl and starts talking about going back to his place to 'fix the problem of you having never been with a man,' HELL YES I'm going to behave awkwardly DX I'm sure some men probably think the whole blushing / awkward / fumbling speech thing is cute and a sign of attraction, but no- it was a sign of 'dude wtf are you doing get the hell away from me.' I saw him from my car a few days after he got fired walking down the street- he saw me, and he was glaring daggers. I was glad he was gone though.

Yes, but I made him go away.

Because legally, I could.

Hey, you gotta do what you gotta do. I don't want some sleazy career delivery boy who is twice my age trying to pull me into a dark alley because he thinks I secretly want it neutral

Well, its good to carry around a condom, too. Safe sex is important.

When I went to school downtown (Columbus isn't exactly a safe area afterhours) I carried mace, but I've since learned a bit of Taekwondo and I'm confident in my ability to defend myself long enough to get a running start or get a clear shot to the groin. They taught us the basics of breaking out of various grips, getting away from someone that has you pinned up against a wall and whatnot- and the sparring classes didn't hurt when it comes to reading other peoples movements and learning to dodge and effectively pummel. I can kick high enough to hit people in the face (assuming they're not freaky tall) and I really doubt that someone randomly ******** with me in the streets would be expecting that.

And yes- for those who have sex, condoms are always important too.

wow daypaw is half-ninja
and yes i also agree safe sex is important no guy wants to be a dead beat father payin child support =)
PostPosted: Wed Aug 18, 2010 8:24 pm

Not everyone who pays child support is a deadbeat. In some cases, it's just circumstances beyond the persons control that makes it impossible for them to see their child- if they live too far away, work hours that would require the child being up at ungodly hours if they want a meeting, etc etc. Deadbeat dads are the ones that have been court-ordered to pay child support and don't do it anyway because they don't give a crap about the kid and have 0 desire to help.

I used to work with a guy who was working two full time jobs trying to support a child he never saw, and he wasn't involved with the mother at all. I think he said he saw the kid maybe once or twice a month if he was lucky? But, he put extra effort into working at jobs he hated because he still loved her and wanted her to have the best neutral He was on good terms with the mom and everything- it's just between work and his home life and the kid's home life and the mom's schedule, it was hard to work out time for them to meet. It was heart breaking because the guy was super sweet, but on the plus side I know he's gotten a better job since then so maybe things are working out better for him now.

Honestly I'd want to be able to carry a gun with me. For safety reasons and what not. There are a lot of factors that can go into a hostile encounter and I'd rather have a lethal weapon at my disposal.

And beyond procreation, there are also STDs. Some of which will stick with you for the rest of your life. You can't undo all your bad decisions.
PostPosted: Thu Aug 19, 2010 12:49 am

Condoms don't always protect against STD's though.

Which is one of the reasons I haven't been in a hurry to find a boyfriend neutral I don't want to have to worry about the awkward 'You should wear a condom' conversation if it gets that far.

Not always, but most of the time.

And that conversation shouldn't be awkward. The guy should expect it. Only assholes try to weasel their way out of it. And then you don't want to deal with them anyways.
