Z shook her head. "Don't go pitying me. It's alright, just... Sometimes I can't take it. That's why I was looking for rebels. Winter suddenly felt sorry for the kid, and put her arm around his shoulder. "It'll be alright. What happened to your mom? Do you ever see her?" She looked at him. "Hey, look. Your dad's a ******** scary psychopath, but there is something in his chest. I bet you fifty bucks that some part of him actually does care about other people, you just have to find those parts. I've seen the good side of him, and others have too." She smiled at him. "Listen to me. Honestly, sometimes your dad does care. If not, he should be in the acting business. I swear, if the way he was acting around the time I met him, then he could be a ******** billionaire. You're dad was nice, once upon a time."
Z beamed. "Thanks so much. You wanna see my apartment?"

Z smiled. "It's an honor. C'mon. It's just over here." She led Mew to an apartment building and walked to the elevator. "You coming?"
Winter winced. "I'm so sorry. Did you ever know her?" She rested her head on his shoulder. "Things'll get better, even if I do sound like I just stepped out of a soap opera." She smiled meekly and kissed his cheek. "I'd have killed your dad if I knew he'd done those things."

Winter pulled back and sighed. "No, I'm just trying to make you feel better. I'm used to dealing with humans, and they don't usually have the same problems. It's how I comfort people, and how others comfort me. I'm sorry if it caused anything." She leaned on the side of arm of the couch. "Look, kid. If I can't take out that chip thing, then maybe a professional doctor could. I'd be happy to pay."

"N- no i dont trust him for anything. Lat time i went he ended up taking blood samples and skins samples and said i dont know what chip your talking about man hes a real b*****d." He said sighing " Sorry im dumping this all on you....." He said feeling a little light headed but staying up
"Hes still fighting sir." One of the workers said at a small console and his father walking around." Up the power...." He said with a smile as he did as he was told
