As things played out it seemed the others had all moved to the same person she was hitting, from what she could remember from class, it was good to target a single target if fighting with a group, a group but it seem that hitting the other targets was need as well, also she no long had a clear shot at the man, Aya move on her spot high on the cave walls, and looked to the other man, she preform the same hand seals, and yet again a she shot the powerful stream of fire at the other man. Aya flames reached her new target, and like always she strike the shield that seemed to be around them, Aya had to hope she was helping in some way.

Sai sighed heavily as once again he found himself standing upon the head of the worm. Its body frantically tossing itself this way and that as the enraged corpses clawed frivolously at his body. But all of it was of no use. The man had himself anchored to the beast and his gun was vibrating violently as it kept the bodies at bay with a rain of bullets.
"Any time now!" Sai called out in a sing song manner, the beast now leaping and bounding through the air like a crazed horse. "Come on people! There's five of you and two of them! Don't tell me that you can't handle it?!" The man taunted as he finally disengaged himself from the beast and somersaulted to the ground and safety, doing so just in time to avoid the beast latest body slam against the cave wall.

Soba looked down from the place he'd landed at on the wall. The genin using the clones took advantage of the opening he'd made in the barrier. The wind sickles picked away at the weak spot made by the Divine Gear Fist, making a cut in the barrier, in which a wind sickle slipped through and cut the chanting shinobi.
"Good job! Another hit like that should take him down!" Soba called down to the clone user, congratulating him. Then came the genin kunoichi running up the wall. By the way she focused used her oar-shaped sword, Soba thought she was gonna score a hit this time, but yet again she failed. The sword cut through a fraction of the barrier, only to be deflected again.
The chamber lit up again as Mizukage Sorain struck the shinobi again with the same lightning techniques as before. The barrier was obliterated and the shinobi took damage from the electricity.
"Come on people! There's five of you and two of them! Don't tell me that you can't handle it?!" called Sai from his perch on the worm's head. He was shooting at the now more animated bodies on the worm. Sai jumped down from the bucking creature, shooting the ninja Soba dubbed 'Wormbait' in the knees. "Tch... What annoying ********. Hurry this up will you?" Said the purple-haired man to the others, turning back to his task of dealing with the worm.
Soba ran down from his place on the wall, unsummoning the Three-Gear Shield as he did. The chuunin propelled himself from the base of the chamber wall, making hand seals with his left hand as he got closer to his target.
"Ya miss me buddy?!," called Soba when he came a few feet from the chanting shinobi, "Let me redo my last attack. Divine Gear Fist!!!"
The fist appeared for five seconds. The punch struck the now weakened barrier, making it disappear completely. Soba jumped so he was above the exposed chanter. By this time the Fist was gone. "People who have no regard for human lives make me sick." mad he whispered to the defenseless shinobi. A great fireball exploded from the chuunin's mouth, engulfing the chanting man.

Oasis was starting to get irritated at this point she landed from her previous attack and watched the others launch theirs, she was not at all surprised to see the one she figured was the strongest land a devastating blow on one of the chanting shinobi. She raced around the ground and back up onto the wall her movements barely more than a flicker of motion as she sped up, she was going to land a blow on her target this time. She narrowed her eyes and sped up more tucking in low avoiding the worm as it flailed about in its obvious path for the assumed strongest shinobi in the room. Once close enough to her target she pushed off the wall and launched herself in the enemies direction holding her oar blade tightly at her side. However as her blade was entirely denied by the barrier she hit the wall at the other side of her target and turned back to glare angrily at what she was attempting to hit, something it would seem was altering her chance to hit and it wasn't being fair about it.

Aya watched as another one of the men fell to the groups attack, only one was left now, Aya prepare herself for the attack, and looked at the area, of the man she was going to attack again, she had to move a little so that she had a clear shot at the man again, she preform her hand seals and then fired, her fire jutsu at the robed man.

An unearthly cry broke through the air as the final robed ninja fell to it's death. The beast slumped down to the ground, shivering and twitching in its spot in the cave as though fighting some tormenting feeling. Raising an eyebrow at the withering worm, Sai turned his back to the beast with a slight ease as he surveyed the wrecked scene of the cave...

There were marks for the fight up til now littering the entire place. Ice, lightning, fire, water, earth, wind... the elements had certainly had their field day with the cave... and it was taking it's toll on it. The cave was slowly but surely crumbling, the walls were cracked and breaking, the ceiling was coming down in bits and pieces every so often, the ground was a track course of indents and attacks, and the worm was still alive and only making things worse.

With a sigh, the man faced the shinobi that were with him. There was his older brother, Sorain, he could be relied on... that was for sure. Then there was the strange girl that had arrived recently, he was pretty sure Vyrin had told him that he had a companion, but where he was right now... He would need to keep an eye out for her and her missing companion, there would be no surprises today for him... Continuing to make his sweep, his eyes landed on Soba. The man had certainly proved himself to be more capable then originally thought but he was still a liability, and his chances of taking on the worm without dying was slim... And finally we had the two of the three wind genin, who were worse off then the rest. Neither of them were very helpful against the robed shin-

Sai thoughts were suddenly interrupted as the beast rose up and let out another cry in agony. This time however it raised its disgusting head to face Sai and charged at him. "I'm getting tired of you..." Gritting his teeth, the man's hands quickly swung to his chest armor and unclasped the hooks from their locked positions. Swiftly pulling the heavy armor from his shoulders to reveal his completely bare chest, Sai tossed the armor easily to the side where it landed with a loud thud and indented the ground easily. A thin circle of dust rose up from around the man's feet before flaring out away from him as the wind picked up and swirled violently around him.... For those who had a special eye technique, the man's purple chakra could easily be seen raging around him to influence the wind patterns to move and bend to his will and for his purposes... and it was only through that manner would a person would be able to keep track of where Sai was actually going.

As the worm slammed itself down on Sai's position, the man had again disappeared but not before a fraction of an inch was between him and the worm. His path was only marked by his splurging chakra, his body had dropped instantly into a crouch with his hands pressed against the ground as he spun around them as though to break dance but half way through he pushed himself to a baseball slide out of the worm's path. His body still terribly close to the worm as he stood simply beside it as the beast crushed it's empty air. For a fraction of a moment he stood there, his cold, crimson eyes glaring at the worm and then turning back to the people with him. Hatred and malice was in his eyes as he watched them, landing on the two wind genin. They would hold them back and end up as casualties... The girl had already been hurt from before.

Without wasting the moment, Sai speed to the other side of the cave where it was empty and the most amount of damage had been dealt from the man's bouts with the worm. "I'm.... over here, you big beastie, you." The man taunted, his hand waving for the creature to come before dropping into a cross legged sit against the wall with a cocky grin across his face.

With an enraged howl, the beast rose yet again and charged at the man, determined to devour him whole this time. But yet again, the man dodged out of the way just in time... however this time.... when the beast made contact with the wall, its impact wasn't embraced but rather rejected as the wall crumbled away and the beast flew out of the cave flailing and tumbling to the forest below with various debris.

As the final robed shinobi was brought down by the second genin kunoichi's flames, the worm let out a howl of pain. There goes the last of its power source, thought Soba as he watched it writhe on the floor momentarily. He sat on the ground where he was. There was a burning sensation at his right shoulder. I've exhausted my chakra well beyond its limits.
Sai was currently warning the genin and himself about the dangers of fighting the worm now, since it was way stronger due to the chanters. Soba recalled the times when he was almost hit by the creature, and the time it hit the kunoichi with the blue markings. If the worm was stronger than it was before, there was no way he could handle it. Then there was Notwen to think about. He was still up in the rim with Vyrin and Voir....



Notwen had closed his eyes for two minutes when suddenly there was an explosion from below. The boy's hazel eyes snapped open. He ran to the edge, activating his sharingan as he got to the rim. As Notwen looked down, he saw a large mass of blue chakra fall from a hole in the mountain.
"What.... on..... Earth....?!" he began to say, then a smaller, yet considerably large chakra erupted from the hole. "What's going on down there?" Notwen returned to Vyrin, who was still at the dragon's side, and reported what he'd seen.

Oasis stood where she had landed holding the oar blade tight in her hands. The blade made a light ringing sound again similar to what it had done before and she flipped it over stabbing it back into its sheath. She took a deep breath slowly and watched as the shinobi she failed to hit were decimated. The strange shinobi using fire techniques roasted one of them, and the other who seemed associated with the purple haired leader had destroyed the other. Whom followed this very shortly with smashing the beast, and the purple haired man telling them to not follow. She clenched her fists tightly, angrily. As she was contemplating following him or not Fuyu spoke out to her. So it seemed he was going to follow the beast, she simply nodded in response. This entire battle she had been most essentially useless and it was really starting to bother her. She gritted her teeth and clenched her fists until she drew blood "NO I WONT JUST HIDE AND BE USELESS!" she shouted out before launching from the crumbling hole left by the massive worm. The markings on her body glowing lightly as she all but flew through the air with the force of her jump. Her eyes turned from their light amber hue to a more sharingan-esq crimson as she hit the ground and raced past Fuyu charging her chakra into her fist she pounced and reared back her fist the punch the beast. She came down from her jump and her fist covered in a flowing chakra smashed hard into the beast. Oasis used the force of her punch to flip away from the monster and land on the ground the marks on her body still glowing as she looked at the worm with a sense of satisfaction. She didn't realize how much power was unlocked, she just knew she was able to finally hit something.
