 Mac Luminaire, Son of Erichthonius."Hush. No, no, it's ok." he said turning his face slightly to the side, looking at her. He wiped the tears away from her face, pulling back just enough for the movement to not be uncomfortable. He still kept her close though, for he was reluctant to relinquish his hold. He wanted to stay with her. "You don't have to apologize to me, Natalia. I don't want an apology anyway." he said, shrugging. "I just want you to be alright."

But he loved her, how? She always asked herself that question, every day. She moved her hand down to his, holding it. It was warm, calloused, strong. She missed him, plain and simple. Eliminating him from her life hadn't worked, it just made her more upset. She looked down and the necklace, one use left; she'd save it for something special. She looked at Mac in the eyes again, trying not to break the connection. She nodded, not saying anything. She bit down on her lip, stopping the tears. She squeezed his hand a little tighter, just checking that it was real, not a twisted scheme her mind made up to torture her.

Mac Luminaire, Son of Erichthonius.Mac nodded and smiled back at her as she slowly stopped crying. He squeezed her hand as well, feeling a little better with the pressure Nat gave his own hand. He took her hand in both of his, holding it tight for a few moments, then he released her and took the crystal necklace, careful not to touch the crystal this time, it had only one use left, Natalia should use that one. He opened the chain of the necklace and held the two ends in both his hands, holding the necklace on front of Natalia as if offering it to her. "Well then, Natalia Wright...do you want me to stay with you?" ((I gotta laugh. XD It almost sounds like a marriage proposal. lol crazy.))

She smiled a bit, then nodded,"Are you saying you'll take me back?" she asked, a bit cautiously and a bit quieter. She didn't want to get the wrong assumptions, but if that's what he was saying... She took a deep breath in, trying to compose herself. She breathed out, feeling a bit normal, but still not 'there' yet. She still felt mentally unstable, crazy even. She hated that feeling, how she always felt it. How she always felt like she was crawling in her skin, as if it shouldn't even be her own skin; but it was, and she wasn't as crazy as she thought, at least, she hoped...

Mac Luminaire, Son of Erichthonius.Mac smiled, almost to himself. He had to admit, she even looked happy because of what he had said. Or at least, better. And that was something. That was definitely something. He moved his face forward, closer to hers, so close their lips almost touched and for a moment it seemed that he would kiss her...but he stopped, just a few inches away, and stared into her eyes. "By all the gods, yes. Yes, I'll take you back, Natalia. That's exactly what I want. So what do you say? Yes?"

---> Natalia smiled a bit bigger, nodding again. How couldn't she want him to take her back? There was a little bit of space left between the two, well, there was before she closed it by leaning forward and kissing him. She pulled away, resting her forehead on his, smiling to herself, but also biting her lip. She didn't say anything for a little bit, then sighed,"I'm sorry..for everything...Tristen, me, hurting..you...everything..." she said, still with her head and his head leaning on one another.

Mac Luminaire, Son of Erichthonius.Mac kissed her back gladly, so very glad she had accepted. Then closed his eyes after she pulled back, sighing a little and holding her close to him. Natalia. Then he heard her apologize...for everything. "Let's just forget it. Start over again. And make it better this time. Make it work." he said, as he kept his arms wrapped around her, her smell covering him all.

---> Natalia was smiling until he said start over fresh,"I'd love to...but I can't..." she let out a sigh and got off the bed. She walked over towards the door frame then looked back at him. She thought back to when she was kidnapped, it was for a week, at least. Mac didn't even notice, didn't even care. Then. Now, he was in front of her, smiling, kissed her. He was different now, so was she, but was it for better or for worse? She thought about this when she walked out the door, out of the cabin, heading anywhere but there. She still liked him, but she knew, she knew it'd never work. It never had. Erichthonius was right, when he spoke to her and Mac, she knew what he was talking about. It would never work between her and Mac, nor any other guy. She had gotten over that, but could he?

Mac Luminaire, Son of Erichthonius."What?" Mac looked baffled at her answer. She wanted to be with him, she loved him, she said so herself but...she couldn't do it? He watched shocked as she walked away. When she got out the door he jumped out the bed and ran after her. He couldn't let this happen, not again, not if she wanted to be with him. He grabbed her arm and turned her to him, his expression...not concerned but desperate. Almost unbeleaving that they would lose this last chance. "Wait...Natalia, you can't do this. You want to be with me. I want to be with you. We belong together! So why not? why not?"

---> The next thing she knew, Mac was with her, grabbing her arm. He looked confused, desperate. She laughed a bit, lifting her hand up, pulling it through his hair. She smiled up at him, then got on her tippy toes and kissed his forehead. She pulled away, lowered herself back down,"It just won't work darling, never has. Listen to you're dad, he's smart." she said as she grabbed both his hands, swinging them a bit.

"My father is the god of trouble. Listening to him is never a good idea." he shook his head, smiling to himself. "Nat, you can't do this. It won't be good for any of us. I don't want to lose you."

Although I'm probably one of the only girls you'll meet that likes your father.." she bit the bottom lip, giggling a bit more. She leaned down and kissed his neck. It was more like a playing around thing between the two right now, although she was still being serious.

They were great together. "I'm not losing you, not again." And with that he turned her face to him and kissed her passionately, pulling her closer to him.

---> She looked at him, a smirk painted upon her face,"Darling, you already did.". There was that look on her, a look that should be upset yet wasn't. She should be sad that she can't be with Mac, she really should. For some strange, odd, twisted reason, she felt victorious. Maybe it was her overcoming the fact she didn't need him, she could live her life without him. She knew she couldn't be with him, for many little reasons, but there was one main reason. Her. The huntress. She knew that is was similar to what she did with Tristen, but unlike Mac, she couldn't take someone back like that. It was beneath her.

Mac looked at her, half surprised at what she had said and partly...disappointed, though that word wasn't quite right, he felt betrayed, and a little resigned. "Right. If that's what you think then so be it." he said as he let go of her, running a hand through his hair instead, avoiding her gaze. "I guess this is goodbye."
