Ethan grabbed a hold of Emily again. "Emily. " he said. "It's okay. Please call down. Please." he begged, trying to calm her.

Emily continued to cry with her head down. She bit her lip to keep from yelling any more, almost to the point of making it bleed.

Ethan held onto Emily, running his hand through her hair. "Shh..." He whispered. "It's not your fault. It's not." He said over and over.

Emily leand her head against his chest, and slowly cried herself to sleep against him.

Ethan slowly rocked Emily back and forth and once she was asleep he stopped. He set his chin softly on her head and closed his eyes but didn't stop rubbing her back.

Emily woke up with her head still on Ethan's chest, and dried tears on her cheeks.

Ethan opened his eyes and looked down at Emily. "Hey." He said to her in a hushed tone before pulling a smile on his face. He kissed the top of her head, gently, before looking back at Emily. "Are you okay?" He asked, wanting to make sure she wasn't still upset.

"Hey and yeah i'm ok now," she said as she kept her head rested on his chest. "And i'm sorry about flipping out like i did," she added.

Ethan shrugged his shoulders. "It's alright. As long as you're okay." He told her, running his hand through her hair and glancing around the cabin for a slight second.

Emily relaxed completely as she felt his fingers in her hair. "I love it when you do that," She said as she closed her eyes.

Ethan smiled at Emily, looking down at her. "Exactly why I do it." He answered with a chuckled, wrapping his arms around her, protectively.

Ethan pulled his lips apart, giving a huge grin and making his nose wrinkle. His eyes squinched close as he showed all his teeth. "This smile?" He asked, through his teeth as he tried to make the grinnish smile as big as possible.
