Pudding1234 Elphida sat awkwardly at the table with Adrian and Ruby. "Yes well maybe it's time for us to leave Adrian. She lightly touched his shoulder and stood up. "It was lovely to meet you Ruby, I hope to see you again in the future." She smiled her raidant smile and left the room, Adrian following close behind her.

Sera walked around the Village almost aimlessly. It felt comfortable with Ruby behind her and it made her feel a little more reckless. Of course, a General was never reckless, but it felt nice to let go after a bit of drama. Honestly, she sometimes wondered why she was such a pushover. She could have walked right by Ruby or turned Forest away after a bit of a scuffle. She could have left Raven to die, after all. Why was she so keen on saving? Was it really for their sakes? Or was it an atonement for her own sins?

Ruby just silently followed her. Her orange eyes looking side to side, one hand on her hip while the other messed with the fur on her tail. She shook her head, making her hair and fur move into a more comfortable position, her ears twitched every once in a while as they walked.

Suddenly, Sera stopped. She raised her nose to the suddenly rancid air. The acute smell burned her nose, forcing her cover it in an attempt of escape. She had a glimpse of worry for Ruby's nose, but soon she was distracted by shapes dashing by in the too-many shadows that had surrounded her and her guard all of a sudden. "Ruby, let's leave this place. Both company and memory here are without pleasure." Sera said vaguely, but there was a strange urgency and warning in her voice. This had happened before. But it couldn't happen here, could it? It was neutral country... but that had never stopped him before. "Ruby, hurry home. It would be better if I was caught alone." she admitted. She knew that she wouldn't be able to make it home. "Tell Gal that a certain Colonel has arrived for a fun little visit."

Gal could sence the disturbance in the generals emotions so, he instantly flew to where she was. he had a job to do and he hated it.

Sera looked at Gal who--conveniently--had arrived almost immediately after her words. "Gal, the Colonel has arrived here in Arcadia. You know that he's either going to exploit some scum bar on the other side of the city or is on the hunt for something. And since he's no where near the scum bars are, I'm guessing it's the latter." she explained. She tried to ignore the fact that he was loathing having to be there with her, but for some reason, she felt a small pang somewhere in her chest.

Sera's eyes darkened for a moment and then she rolled her eyes at him. Once a soldier, always a soldier. And a demonic soldier at that.

Sera looked at him for a moment and then looked at Ruby. "You don't have to be here if you don't want to. This situation is mainly our problem since Gal and I are connected to the dummy in question." She hadn't been a good enough friend to Ruby for her to even think about risking her life for her.

Gal slowly looked at Sera and said "you know if he is looking for blood tonight. also, Ruby, you may not like me but, he does have a point. this is no place for you." he remained motionless.

Sera looked at Gal with a frown. Then, he turned to Ruby and said, "We don't know if he really wants blood, but can you do me a favor? Can you go back and make sure that Forest doesn't come hunting for blood, please?" Then, Sera turned and started walking toward a fancy restaurant at the edge of town.
