Going to check in briefly. I'm at 176.0 pounds today, so exactly 30 lbs lost. I took a long break from journaling because it seemed like I was talking about my weight loss more than I was acting on it. My motivation seems a bit more stable now, so the journal will resume.
I hope everyone is doing well, and I'll visit other journals later. biggrin

@Munkers: Thank you! smile
Weight: 175.8 lbs
LOSS: -0.2 lbs
Exercise: none (just finished some research and it's after 1am...)
Points: 24/24
Lunch: slice of cheese pizza, breadstick, diet coke
Dinner: low-fat yogurt with a small amount of toppings, water
So I didn't make the healthiest choices today (actually yesterday since it's past midnight). It was one of those days where I had a shitload of work to catch up on, so I wanted comfort food. At least now I recognize that eating extra won't help stress about schoolwork, and in the end make me sluggish with all the work still to be done. Hopefully tomorrow will be a more normal day where I can get a powersculpt workout in and consume a more balanced diet.

(This entry is actually for yesterday since once again it's 1am.)
Weight: 176.6 GAIN: +0.8 lbs
Exercise: Biggest Loser PowerSculpt workout weeks 1-2
Points: 24/24
Lunch: orange chicken, rice w/sweet and sour sauce, fortune cookie, diet coke
Snack: chocolate covered peanut butter cookie
Argh. Yesterday's diet at least was better because I ate a salad for lunch with lots of green veggies. Problem is, after a morning of classes I get hungry and don't have a lot of patience to seek out the best option, so I go for the easiest. I gained a little yesterday as well as this morning, but it was expected because the week before I was losing weight very quickly. My rule is that if there's been overall loss within a week of strictly following the program, then minor gains are nothing to worry about.

Have you looked into the new Points Plus program at all?

@Munkers: No, not yet anyway. As long as the program I'm currently doing works I'll stick with it.
Not the best of days, ate 23/24 points today (in one sitting) and couldn't exercise thanks to working on a presentation for Wednesday. I'll try to do better tomorrow. I also haven't checked my weight in a few days.

I gave the new one a shot just on a whim and I kinda like it. My points were getting low enough that it was sort of frustrating for me to get full on anything other than a huge amount of salad or vegetables. On the new plan, fresh fruit is all free, daily point targets are higher (as is the weekly allowance), and protein foods aren't such a big hit to your point budget.
