Sephiroth's was longer but Cloud's was overall heavier and much more badass especially when he dual wields...he's frickin' awesome when he dual wields!!

The Masamune was significantly longer, obviously. Judging by the movie, it was probably between eight and ten feet long, significantly longer than it was in FF7. MN would also consider the Masamune to be significantly "cooler" in every way, by virtue of being a nodachi (basically an extra-long, extremely curved katana), but this category is entirely subjective.

ok if we are talking about from FF7:AC then hell yes cloud wins without even waking up from his nap. lenth wise of couse sephiroth wins but lenght doesnt determine power. i got the chance to hold a replica of each and sephiroths sword is suprisingly ligter than clouds and is easier to swing. but it loses some ability in that you can use a uppercut slash or chain together combos well. cluods sword does more damge tho because it weighs like 40 pounds and has a lot more momentum even in 2 sword mode (it wasnt a full replica becasue there would be no handle on about 4 of the swords sad and allows for better more powerful combos and easily breaks through most guards. is that enogh of a opinion?

In Advent Children, I'd have to say Cloud's. It splits apart. How many swords does it split apart to? Me and a friend were trying to decide. He said 6 and I said 8. Does anyone know?

Obviously, Sephiroth has the longer one, Cloud the wider one, and vader the energized red saber one....err, scratch the last one. As for the cool factor, it has to be clouds, because its pretty cool he could lift that massive sword with only one hand. Plus he has omnislash, which kicks sephiroths a** in like one turn. Yet Sephiroth still looks the coolest...wait, im going off track.....uhh, err.....go ninjas?
