Akuma nodded and decided to let Willow lead. He didn't want her to feel useless.

Willow nodded. She felt the pounding of Shame's paws as he approched. "Back already?" she asked. The dark wolf let out a low growl.

"Its his way of communicating with me." she said. "There is a river ahead. Wanna go see it？" she asked.

Willow smiled. She kicked Thunderhead into a gallop. Shame bolted ahead, leading the way.

Akuma kicked Devil to get him moving, "Hey wait up!" he shouted.
Devil whinnied with delight at the thought of a race.

Willow laughed and slowed Thunderhead. He whinnied in responce, wanting a race.

Akuma cuaght up to them but Devil didn't slow, "Whoa boy! this isn't a race ya know!" he shouted.
He yanked on the reigns and Devil reluctantly slowed down.

Willow laughed. "I think he wants it to be." she said. Shame barked from a few feet off. A sparkling river ran only a ways behind him.

Akuma patted Devil on the neck, "We can race on the way back." he promised the winged horse.
Devil snorted an agreement and AKuma rode next to Willow as he watched the river.

Willow felt Thunderhead tence and she halted the horse. She patted his side. "Something wrong boy?" she asked quietly. The horse whinnied and shook his mane.

Akuma became quiet for he too could sense that something was wrong. Devil rustled his black feathered wings in irritation and snorted.
"Shh.... calm down boy...." he calmed Devil and slipped off of his back.

Willow slipped from the horses back. "What is it?" she asked. She began to walk toword the water.
