meanwhile else where somewhere
Marik gathered up the dust like pieces that he'd crushed of the seastone. He went back into the house then and up to his room. His room was like a complete chemistry lab complete with burn marks on the roof and floor. Marik smiled at this all. His dad was hoping he'd one day become a scientist for the marines but Marik had different plans for himself. He wanted to travel and see what all was out in the world. He wanted to search and test everything in the world. He wanted to research how everything happened and if there was a way to control the happening of such things with a combat of something different. He started to work testing the different bits of seastone dust in different chemicals. He was sad to find that it didn't seem to have much of a reaction with anything. He then went back down stairs and opened back up his dad's marine notebook and found the page about seastone again. This time he read all through it or as much as he could till his father came in a grabbed the notebook away from him. His father seemed in a really pissed mood. He yelled at Marik about the privance of other people then began questioning his son about the where abouts of a certain stone. Marik denied ever seeing such a stone and at the first chance he ran back up to his room. He shut the door behind him and quickly gathered up the little bit of the seastone dust and brushed it into one of his water bottles and threw it in his backpack to hide it. Marik grabbed a book and jumped on his bed as his father came in to tell him to pack cause they had somewhere they had to be in a couple days.
