Edel mumbled something incoherent as a reply. She wasn't really paying any attention to the girl.
Danny, however, still was. As well as the Penguin at this point. Aside from the symbiote, everything else seemed to be going along nicely. It looked like some of the customers had left, but most had stayed. He had Batman, Joker, and other...active people in here on occasion. These customers either knew they were still safe, or knew where the safety exits were.
Kori seemed to be doing perfectly fine as well. All he needed was a clean background check and she should be very qualified to work here.

Crystal had left out the back way, still having her key from days old, as soon as War had said that he would indeed want the kegs that she offered. She finally returns with several of the kegs that are now produced for stores.
((Have you seen those things?! They are freaking tiny! I mean when I think "keg" I think a barrel of beer.))
She places the small kegs upon the table in front of War. She smiles softly at him. "Here you go. Kegs, just like I promised." A small purring could be heard from the back of her throat.

War seized one keg and gulped it down like a small can of beer. He noticed the host up in the balcony, or at least who he thought was the host. Emptying the keg, he crushed it on his skull and placed it neatly near him. War's devious grin was gone as he grew into deep thought, all the while finished keg after keg off."So any idea where I could get some street cred? Maybe a team or villian in need of assistance?"He asked the girl, not even noticing her purring.

"Well the one that would give you the best villain cred would be if you joined one of Lex Luther's many many villain teams... Recently the ONLY villain that cannot join his teams lately is Joker" She snickers, remembering the last time Lex had Joker on one of his teams, sounds of explosions run through her head.
She smiles back at him again. "Or you could always talk to Mr. Cobblepot. He is an information broker." She shrugs and thought some more. "But now that the worlds have combined I think King Pin, or Mr. Wilson Fisk. He was the big man in the Marvel Universe but I don't actually know about him or his standings at the moment though."

War thought his option over for a minute."Just where is this Cobblepot?I'll start with getting information from him."War asked her as he dropped the last crushed keg on top of a pile. They clanged quite loudly when the metal dropped. He also put away his blade and stood up. He noticed that he towered over his waittress.

Penguin had already moved from his place on the balcony and was heading down towards his new guests. Two of his female guards following behind him. Though, with their outfits, you'd never be able to tell they were guards. An umbrella clacked against the ground as he walked with it like a cane.
"I'm Mr. Cobblepot." he said as he reached the symbiote and Crystal.

War looked at a man who had the features of a penguin, a rather portly one at that. He noticed to women by his side."I hear your the one to talk to about certain information."He retorted, keeping a close eye on everyone around him. Something didn't seem quite safe about the two beautiful women.

War's smile grew wide."A job, one that pays alot of money, if you catch my drift. I have my own agendas to attend to, but until then I need a way to get out there and be recognized."He explained to Cobblepot. War decided to sit back down while he spoke. The man seemed fairly interested in him, maybe he'd get something. If not there were other leads, from what his waittress had told him.

War nodded in argeement. He'd already drawn attention just by walking in. This universe must really fear symbiotes or never seen one. He once again stood to his feet ready to follow the short, plucky man."Please lead the way."He hissed with a devilish grin. He could smell the adrenaline in the air. Most were frightened or ready to fight. It was a feeding ground of brains, but he resisted the urge although seeming rather cynical in the process.

Penguin nodded and turned to show the man to one of the rooms he kept reserved for such occasions. "Right this way." he replied and he stared towards the back room, leading the man out around everyone so they'd have to follow along the wall. As hard as it would be, he wanted to draw as little attention as he could from his guests. No doubt this news would get around, but as long as the thing could conduct itself in a civilized manner, there shouldn't be much of a problem.
"Have someone clean up that table." he said to one of the attendants nearby the door to the room.

War sat on a seat that was nearest to the wall. He then waited for Cobblepot to take a seat. This man was pretty fancy, it'd take alot of money to run a smooth joint like this. He didn't care if the money was stolen or not, the lounge was very swank."Nice little operation you got here, I'm sure the pay is quite great."War told Cobblepot with another sickening smile. Before he forgot, War threw a bag filled with ancient and highly valuable gold onto the table."Forgot to pay for the service earlier."He explained, the gold glinting like his yellow razor teeth.

"It is when I'm not paying for repairs made from some..." Penguin began as he took a seat, and stopped abruptly when he seen the gold. "My word..." he whispered to himself. "Well, that will certainly cover it. Erm, well then, you were saying that you were looking for an employer, correct?"
The two women stood outside of the room and waited by the door. They weren't to disturb the meeting, or to listen in. They were, however, to do their job should a "disagreement" erupt.

War laughed at Cobblepots expression, it was priceless. A few mere piece of gold to him. Must be quite valuable in other universes."Yes, well there's always the matter of attention when first starting out and I'd like to start out with a bang, maybe blow up a bank or kill the presidents."He explained in great detail while fiddling with a gold coin between his claws."Mere chump change, I've have an unlimited supply of these, I'm guessing they're a rarity in your line of work?"He asked Cobblepot, referring to the gold coins.
