Tanya was the first to get to the line saying she could eat a whole elephant. Shadow laughing and people looking at them in surprise as if todays events had changed nothign to their moods. shaking they're heads they went on their way. Hatomi was passed out cold at the table still. Kyo looked up when Tanya joined them and her laughed died down when she saw him. she blinked a few times and then chuckled as she whispered softly.
"Oh...he's sleeping," She tilted her head slightly and smiled, "He looks like a kid again for once."
shadow nodded, "Ya....not to mention he works at that cafe he owns after school. Wait isn't today the day he closes for a day?"
Kyo nodded, "Yes....his cafe and part time jobs help him pay of the supposed home he says he has, but we've never seen. I hope he's not living on the streets." They all nodded and Kyo sat down and looked back at Rosuto.

"He's not living on the streets," Rosuto said as he heard the conversation. "He lives in a beautiful place and he has a very cute kitten who follows him around all the time." He didn't know why he was saying all this, but he might as well tell the gang that Hatomi was living quite comfortably, if not a bit isolated. "You don't have to worry about him living on the streets." An angry voice in him was telling him that maybe he shouldn't have butt in the conversation after all.
He expected at least one glaring pair of eyes, though it didn't seem likely. Hatomi's gang apparently decided to let him be their friend now, so that was a good thing, right? That should mean that they would be getting along like friends do, or at least that's what he thought. It had been two years since he had hung out with any friends. Sure, there were some friends at his work place, but they were always too busy to meet up at any time.

Kyo patted Rosuto's head and laughed softly. "Figures the little one would be the first to see Hatomi's home," Tanya and Shadow laughed and a soft snort escaped Shadow and he threw his hands up over his face with a bright blush crossing his face to his hairline and ears.
Tanya laughed even harder as she pointed at him, "You snorted....that's so cute and funny."
Shadow dropped his hands. His face grleaming with embarassement. "Ya well at least I don't choke on my laughs miss I stop breathing if I laugh to hard," Which she was doing right now and Kyo had to pat her back to get her to breath.
Hatomi stirred, he rubbed his eyes as he yawned then spoke, "Has anyone told you guys your noisy as hell and should have an on off switch to turn you off." Kyo chuckled softly as Tanya and Shadow choroused a 'Hay'.

Rosuto couldn't help but giggle a little when Hatomi had said that. He didn't really mind the noise at all, though. Actually, he had really missed the noise and liveliness. It all reminded him of the good days from two years ago and before that. Now that everyone was all smiles and no glares, Rosuto felt a little more comfortable around them. Maybe one day he would hardly think about what happened in the past two weeks and live a somewhat normal life. Things may never be the same, but at least they could be repaired.

Hatomi smiled for the first time since breakfast. He looked at Rostuo with soft tender eyes. Shadow kept on getting teased by Tanya. His hands now down gripping the edge of his seat between his legs in embarassement as he hung his head.
"Hay Hatomi....Invite us over some time ok?" Kyo smirked.
Hatomi looked at him and spoke as if he was talking to an aquaintence and Kyo's smile faded, "Sorry Kyo I can't do that." Hatomi stood up and for some odd reason his expression and the emotion in his words rang out the word hollow and dead. He shoved his hands in his pocket and walked a few paces away and looked up at the cloudy sky.
Tanya had stopped her teasing and Shadow was now staring as well. "Kyo that was stupid to ask," She whispered as she bonked him on the head, "It's to early to ask yet....he's still trying to adjust you Baka."

Rosuto became sad when he heard Hatomi's voice. It sounded empty, very empty, and all happiness was chased away. He was a bit scared now. He didn't want for Hatomi to stay depressed. His senpai had been very happy just a moment ago. He had been making jokes and was smiling, but now everything just disappeared and it seemed as if all that happiness had never been there in the first place. There was no trace of it at all, and that was what made Rosuto so worried and frightened. Was there nothing that he could do for Hatomi?
As for Rosuto, he was very uncomfortable once again. The atmosphere was so scary. He didn't know how, for just one second, the happiness and laughter was transformed into depression and silence. It had happened so quickly, so suddenly, that he was caught unaware of the change until it was too late. Now he was very vulnerable to the effects, and there wasn't any time to defend himself against it. Had he known that the atmosphere would change, then maybe he could have been prepared for it.

Shadow looked over at Rosuto as he spoke soft and low. "don't worry chibi-san. this happens all the time on certain subjects Hatomi tends to avoid. I don't blame him though," He looked down at his food as he poked at it, "But it always gives us whipplash when it happens so suddenly. How can one person blaim himself for everything that's gone wrong in his life? Ho can one old so much pain without going insane or falling apart?"
Tanya nodded and Kyo seemed to not listen now as he started eating again without saying a word. Tanya sighed, "Well it was bound to happen...Kyo probably assumed since Rosuto got to see his home then maybe we could now. Geuss Rosuto's a special case." She said teasingly as she patted the top of Rosuto's head gently.

"Maybe that's true, but perhaps it's only because I was with him at the time," Rosuto said, glad that there was a conversation. "I'm not sure, really. I don't know Hatomi like I used to." He tried to smile, but he failed in doing so. He just couldn't mask that worry and sadness that was obvious on his face. Those feelings on his face only showed a small portion of whatever was going on in his heart.
He didn't believe that he was a special case. He was probably able to go to Hatomi's house by coincidence or something. His senpai could read him like a book and at that time he knew Rosuto wanted to go with him. How he visited the house was only a matter of understanding and coincidence. Other than that, there was nothing more.

Tanya shook her head, "No I don't think so....I think he wanted you to come with him. He wanted to show you what he worked hard to get on his own when he started off with nothing and no one."
Kyo nodded, "When we first met Hatomi he was at the gym. He was just starting off as the high school bully and punk. And it had been after the insident with his family and friends....Anyways. You never saw him after each beating he gave someone, but it got worse when you showed up. I"ve never seen anyone beat themselves over something like that. Plus the reason why he's so sensative to suicides is because...." Shadow smacked him, "Ouch....what the ********? why'd you do that?"
"If he wants to know then let him tell us he wants to know or let him talk to Hatomi about it when schools over. We found out the hard way....I think with Rosuto he will finally open up to someone. Tanya nodded in agreement and she then looked over at the eyes staring at them.
"You'd think they'd have something better to do then to sit and stare at our mugs all day. Don't they have their own lives to destroy and rebuild like we do....and that seems to be the latest theme to our group now adays. Which means we are exactly like a wolf pack," She smiled widely.

Rosuto didn't really understand what was going on, but he decided not to think much about it. It was probably just something that he shouldn't interfere with or try to state his opinion in. There were a lot of those kinds of debates, so he didn't mind just sitting there and listening to every word attentively. Besides, it wasn't like he knew what to say in the first place, or the conversation would be ruined otherwise. All this time he was thinking, he was also listening to the conversation within the group members.
His thoughts returned to Hatomi. Was he still depressed? Or was he alright enough to keep from isolation? Rosuto was sure that it was the first, or Hatomi wouldn't still be a few paces away from them. He wanted to go over to him and ask him if he was alright, and perhaps cheer him up at least a little. Despite the liveliness of the group, Hatomi's sadness was enough to make it all disappear. In turn, Rosuto was very sad. It was like a chain reaction of some sort, and he was sure that he wasn't the only one who noticed it.

Shadow got up from his seat and walked over to Hatomi while placing a hand on his shoulder, "come on Hatomi sit down ok? Your making everyone nervous with the unstable way your emotions are today." He said in a soothing way. Shadow was the only one in the group that had the nerve to ever try and get near an upset Hatomi. It always worked out though. It was as if he knew exactly what to say to him to calm him down.
Hatomi's shoulders slumped and he sighed. He sat down at the table and started to eat his food he hadn't touched since getting there. Kyo smiled as the mood lightened a little more. So he decided to make plans for this weekend. "Hay guys want to go to the water park if it's not raining? Summer is comming up fast and getting a tan seems like an appealing thing to me don't you think?"
Tanya laughed, "You mean burn. Just like last year you'll look like an over cooked Lobster." Everyone including Hatomi laughed at that one. "Shadow will look so dark you'd think he was an Indian or Native American. That's why his mother named him Shadow....because he looks like one when he tans."
Hatomi poked her cheek, "Oh and who was it who looks like a camillean who taned wrong. Its as if some parts of you tan at a different rate then others. So you look a patchy like." The laughing continued.
Kyo laughed and then looked pointedly at him, "Oh now then how about you mister golden tan that attracts almost every ladies eyes in the dang park. Your just way to much for a tan....if anything it should give you an ego boost, but no mister moody spoils it in the end." Hatomi slugged his arm playfully.
"If I remember right Kyo you only brought him so you could meet a girl," shadow mocked and Kyo blushed bright red as Hatomi almost busted a gut laughing.
"Ya and he ended up head first in the wave pool for trying to pick one up with sweet talk that was way to cheesy and offensive," Hatomi laughed "Some ladies man."
Kyo went bright red, "well...not everyone is perfect." They kept laughing and Kyo let them.

Now Rosuto was listening to a different and very normal conversation. It seemed that they were talking about tans and such, and like the last conversation he couldn't find a way to join in. He had always wondered what happens when people decide to get a tan, so maybe he could hear that from the group. They didn't seem to mind him listening, so it must be okay. At least the happy atmosphere was back. That was the important thing. As long as there was an exciting atmosphere, then he could forget about being sad.
He was also glad that Hatomi seemed to be enjoying himself. It seemed as if a talk with friends was what he needed, even if it only lessoned or even numbed the pain he was feeling. Rosuto had always thought that talking with friends about something or another could help someone forget a pain. As long as Hatomi was happy or something at one point, then Rosuto wouldn't have to worry so much about him.

Tanya place her chin in her hand, "Hay guys....i wonder what Rosuto would look like in a tan." She teased as she poked his shoulder. "He's look so adorable don't you think?"
Kyo groaned, "Not again Tanya....remember last time you had a brilliant I die that involved me?"
Shadow laughed, "Yep you got picked up by almost every male and female chasing you because you looked so adorable in the outfit you were wearing." Shadow snickered. "It was halarious as hell to watch.
Hatomi had been silent the whole time. He was staring at Rosuto as though he was waiting for a reaction to Tanya from him. Before he could he it though he looked away as a blush made it's way to his cheeks. His hand cupped his chin as he rested his elbow against the table. Shadow recognized that as his shy face and he smiled when he saw it.

Rosuto tensed when he heard his name and blushed a little when he heard why. "Um... I don't think I'd look great in a tan. I'd rather not find out," he said timidly. It was a little too hard to imagine a positive image of what he would look like if he ever got a tan. Whatever images he thought of only resulted in an ugly person that he couldn't even recognize. He would draw out a picture if he wasn't so embarrassed by the thought.
He then grew a little curious about the other idea that Tanya had thought about. What happened to Kyo that ended in a hilarious disaster? If it was that bad, then Rosuto didn't want to end up the same way. Of course, it wasn't Kyo's fault that there was a hilarious disaster, but Tanya couldn't be blamed either. Every group of friends needed some excitement anyway.

Tanya whined, "Aww I think you would look adorable Rosuto...besides. You never know until you try right?" She snickered not even remotely giving up on her already thought out plan to make Rosuto even more adorable then he already was.
Kyo and Shadow started to snicker and Kyo nudged Hatomi who only blushed and looked away. Hatomi was oddly silent, which in turn egged Tanya on to jab statments at him as she tried to get her plan out and started.
"Awww is Hatomi-kun blushing," She poked his side and he jumped slightly, "Come on voice what you think I think it would be interesting to hear." Hatomi shook his head and stayed silent. "Come on Hatomi....I wanna know....pwease," She said while batting her eyes.
"Why should I," He raised an eyebrow, "Your just trying to get me to say the words needed so as to convince everyone else that he would look adorable with a tan.....ack.....I didn't say that...." Tanya smile truimpahntly and started to giggle.
"See he said it he said it....yay," He clapped her hands together as Kyo and Shadow stared wide eyed at a deeply blushing Hatomi who was now turned away from them with a hand over his mouth and his shoulders hunched as he groaned slightly. "Me and my big mouth.....why did I have to do that?"
"Because you love me," Tanya joked softly as she turned to Rosuto, "See Rosu-chan." Oh great Tanya had already come up with a nick name for little Rosuto.
