At the range lucy waited for NME before setting up a few targets a few hundred yards away. the range extended to about 1000 yards before stopping at a series of metal walls that so far had been able to stop any bullets that were fired down it. Lucy smirked thinking perhaps the new weapon they'd created might just pass through it. "have at it" she said deciding to add more targets farther down the range.

nme placed the laser's case on a table behind the firing line. inside where several magazine shaped batteries. "normally, i dislike lasers, but i have to admit, it does have several advantages." he turned the weapon on its lowest setting, which made it act like a simple laser pointer. nme put the dot on the first target,(paper target) and pulled the trigger. this increased the power, and burned a hole in it. he then took aim at the second target, which was a standard bullet proof vest. once again, the laser burned a large hole. N.M.E. continued to fire at all the targets.

Lucy smirked at the accuracy of the weapon. "most times laser weapons have a massive overheating problem, which is why this design was on blueprints for so long." she said standing with her arms crossed she looked at the weapon with approval "however much of the weapon is on its user, these weapons are incredibly accurate but not to great in a actual firefight." she chuckled "on the other hand, it makes one hell of a sniper rifle dont you think?" she asked nme.
While she spoke to nme the smalest portion of her attention was in the room with zack, his arm free for only a moment as more wires came from the walls, celing and floor. She sighed im done with this she thought electrifing all of the wires that came into contact with zack.

" yes, it is probably the best sniper rifle to date, but i think it would be an effective front line weapon as well. i added a little surprise to it. i assume you are familiar with 'plasma'. i added a plasma shooter capable of firing a ball of plasma about the size of a softball."

after a minuet he yelled "ok ok i will stop just let me go" the wires she had bin electrifing hurt like hell zack dragon side did not see why zack like her she was abusive and mean the dragon side saw no good in her

Lucy nodded at NME and watched. Meanwhile the wires that held zack stopped hurting him and brought him to her. She kept her back to him "are you quite done with your little temper tantrum?" she asked, her voice held no emotion, as it always had. Her laughter was always empty, forced. the wires released zack gently. "I have wish to hurt you, but blind rage will get you nowhere and only end with you hurting yourself more in the long run." she turned her gaze to him "besides I dont want you hurting me either" she said before returning to the range. "lets see how well of a weapon we created" she said pressing a button.
A row of solid steel walls rose at the end of the range for nme.

Lucy shrugged "I dont believe NME sees anything in me as you put it, he does what I ask and is rewarded in return, such if the life you were given, it is only you that makes it hard" she said plainly. She looked at him her eyes softened but nothing else about her changed. "I am sorry you hate it here" she said before pausing "if it is your wish I can return you to the warehouse, you can find someone who is more" she paused again "used to the company of other" she paused again searching for the right word, organics just seemed out of place for what she was attempting to convey. "people" she finally said.

Lucy shrugged "we probably will. now tell me, who are the people after the two of you and why cant we just kill them?" she asked curiously. "thats the logical thing to do, when enemies come after you kill them and they eventually stop" she added
