 Buru-rappa Tenma What Obstacles "Thats a bold faced lie, little lady. Do you really expect me to believe 'tat?" He asked looking at the young girl in front of him. He then looked at Kazuki before his gaze returned to the Girl. "Both of 'ya need to behave yourselfs. Or I'will talk to 'yer Joinin and tell 'em you are breaking Cloud village law, 'as well as the Treates' law's" He said. "Ive seen This Kid" He said nodding towards Kazuki. "He wouldn't attack ya without reason" When he said that it was clear that he was telling the truth about his threat. I See none

 Kazuki heard Akeru tell an obvious lie and immediately felt his hate toward her rise. He really didn't like this girl now. He was glad that the man vouched for him but wondered how he knew that. Did he watch us at the training fields earlier? Weird I never saw him. He looked at the Cloud ninja."We'll be leaving then. We won't fight again and thanks for the warning."
He turned toward Akeru, walked to her, and whispered to her so the jounin couldn't hear."Let's go and not make more trouble for ourselves. Truce for now?"He did this out of an "in the moment thought". He really didn't want to work with this girl but he needed to be cool with everyone so this was necessary for now.

Within every illusion, there is reality"  Akeru rolled her eyes when the cloud ninja called out her lie. It wasn't like she could do much at that point, but at least the man wasn't going to tell her sensei. She didn't want to know what Regimaru would do to her if he found out she was causing trouble; she liked having both of her arms. "Tch, fine, I'll admit I kinda sorta started the fight, but he did disturb the recon I was doing... So...I guess I'm sorry or whatever...And like he said, no more fighting..."As Kazuki walked over to her, she tried to hide the fact that she was still in a good deal of pain from his lightning attack. He actually wasn't that bad, he actually did prove a challenge. Though she still had no doubts that she would have won if the fight would have continued. She had him in perfect Genjutsu-bait position too... As he whispered to her about a truce, he may have been surprised not to hear a smart comment from her, and instead to hear a compliment. "Truce? Sure, why not, especially if it'll let me keep my arms. You know, I was wrong about you, you are pretty strong..."Akeru turned to Kazuki, poking him in the ribs with one of her fingers. Of course she couldn't let this end with her compliment, she had to end it right with a criticism. "But you're still way too bony. You're a guy, aren't you supposed to want muscles like that guy or something? You barely look like you weigh more than me..."

Kazuki accepted the complement and smirked at the criticism. "You just have to get the last word in don't you? Whatever." He hadn't expected the poke in the ribs though. He was kinda cautious of this behavior. She's a better actor than Shiso. Of course he wasn't sure this was acting or real. Doesn't matter I guess. He waved toward the shopping and food places. "Breakfast? I haven't eaten yet and I'm sure your hungry after that trip here right?"

I did end up skipping dinner, so I'm starved, actually."The fact that Akeru was about to casually have breakfast with someone she had picked a fight with didn't seem to bother Akeru much. In truth, she had all but put that behind her, despite the fact that it ended only seconds ago. When she picked a fight, it wasn't because she had an actual dislike for a person, it was more like she used her naturally abrasive personality to her advantage. It was kind of like a game, one that was over. "So, nobody told be the specifics, but I guess me and the guy I came here with are going to be joining your squad or something. I have to say, you look much more useful in a fight than he does... A wind elemental from the land of wind, like that's never been done before... Oh yeah, before your eyes kinda changed colors...what was that about?"

Kazuki nodded and smiled. It was real, he could feel it. "Great I'm pretty hungry too."He laughed at himself in his head. Good, I've made another friend by fighting them first.He brought his attention to her question on his eyes."My eyes? What about your eyes changing patterns? He remembered that his eyes were still yellow too so he let the chakra go and they returned to their original green color. She also mentioned her partner. A wind user huh? Interestingly un-original and unimportant but whatever. Wonder where he is then?

Within every illusion, there is reality" "Heh heh, that is the special ability of the Sukami clan, the Tenraigan..."If there was one thing Akeru took pride in more than anything else, it was her clan name, despite not knowing much of her clan for herself. The power of the tenraigan was great, and despite only having a fraction of the eye's power unlocked, it already had made her much stronger. "My clan specializes in Genjutsu, and our eyes let do a lot. Like I can keep focus of a genjutsu while fighting in taijutsu. I can also extend my chakra system, creating a network around me that lets me connect right to the mind of somebody that's close enough. Like when you used that replacement back there, it didn't fool me because my chakra system was connected to yours, and I knew exactly where you were. I was actually about to cast a genjutsu on you, so you're kinda lucky the Cloud jonin showed up when he did."

Kazuki listened intently as she explained her kekkei genkai. Interesting. A genjutsu user. Didn't see that one coming He was glad for that Cloud jounin's interruption now, he didn't do well with genjutsu.
"My eyes changed color because I activated my Carsing eye. It's works sort of like the Byakugan from the Leaf except I don't see chakra networks. I can see chakra flow and the electrical pulses that every living thing gives off in about a 50 foot radius around me. So I knew where you were at all times too. The chakra in my body is a style that the Carsing use pretty often called Raiken. It allows me to send shocks to your body when I hit you. If I can get you in the right spot I could temporarily send you into shock or if I hit you anywhere, temporarily paralyze muscles."
He looked at her eyes closely too. He could have sworn they had changed from the crossed state they were in now earlier.
"I guess it was lucky as I don't do well with genjutsu. I guess you could have beaten me if that had happened."
He held out his hand in defeat.
"That would make you the winner of that little skirmish. I concede victory to you."

Within every illusion, there is reality" Kazuki's admission of defeat wasn't a big surprise to Akeru, she knew she had the battle won. However, she didn't really expect him to admit it himself. It kinda took all the fun out of gloating about it. "That's funny, if you had that leaf village eye, you would have been able to see what I was doing... not that it would have helped you. But still, it was a good fight."Akeru took his hand, accepting his concession of the match. This was actually a change for her, usually when she beat someone they either hated her and swore revenge or they were afraid of her and an away. This shaking hands thing was nice...nowhere near as fun as the other two, but she supposed it wasn't good to have a teammate hate her. "You know, a lot of people are weak against genjutsu, that's why its so good to be a genjutsu specialist. I don't get it though, Ninjutsu, Genjutsu, and Taijutsu, you'd think people would train a little in all three. I find it disrespectful that people ignore my craft...or I would if their ignorance didn't make my job easier."

Kazuki shook her hand and let go after. He smiled.
"I wish I could have that power. It would be a lot better than just to be able to sense where you are."
It wasn't the first time that he had lost to anyone but this was probably the first time actually admitting defeat to anyone. It felt both right and wrong at the same time.
"My father trained me to only focus on Ninjutsu and Taijutsu as he said I probably can't do genjutsu to save my life. The problem is I have no idea how to counter it. Maybe you can help me train to be prepared against it sometime. I'm sure you out of all people would be the best person to learn from as you actually use it."

♫ Yukai Okaeshi ♫ she had eneterd the house ages before the fighting had all started, she was sprawled across the floor, her blue jacket used as a pillow, and a little bit of drool had tumbeld down her cheek. she looked peaceful, but every now and again she would shiver or flinch, and make a murmering sound, as if something was disturbing her. ...i will....for you... i will. she never knew she talked in her sleep, but people say she does, she can never remeber her dreams either, unless she is in serious pain. i...will...mother...
~1 hour later...~
ugh... again? she woke witha banging headache, again. her tummy rumbled, bread wasnt doing anything goood to her. bleh i'll get something to eat, and then i'm gonna see if i can get onto the roof and have another kip. she got up carefully, not even bothering to pick up her jacket that was folded on the floor. the cold will make me awake. she opened the door, and went outside.
~later still...~
she went past a few people, it was still dawn-ish, but she didnt really care, the cold was bracing, she could see her breathe in front of her, and she wouldnt be suprised if it froze and smashed all over the floor, it was frekin cold! she sat down at one of the food stalls, not even noticing the people there. they were probaly her teammates but at the moment she was too tired to give a damn. ramen please. she reached into her pocket and pulled some money out. keep the change. she said firmly as she placed the money on the table, pushing it towards the stall owner. she blew on the ramen, and then ate it slowly.

Seo Himine Seo walked past the ramen stall the scent seemed to get stronger as he walked towards it. He stopped outside of it and thought if it would be good to go in while the girl could possibly be eating. He didn't know if she was the kind of person that hated to be bothered while they were eating. Then if she became his teammate then this may be the perfect time to talk to her. They could get to know each other over a bowl of ramen.
He decided to walk into the ramen stall and he walked to the stall he sat next to her and didn't order. He didn't think his stomach could handle cooked food after years of raw meat and vegetation. He tried to start a conversation. "Hello, sorry to bother you, but by any chance would you know where I can find some of the genin?" Seo paused and turned to the stall owner who was looking at him. "Um, nothing for me. Thanks anyway." He then turned back to the girl next to him for an answer.

Within every illusion, there is reality" Genjutsu defense...it was the embarrassing weaknes of the Sukami can's tenraigan. The chakra network worked both ways, and a hostile could easily connect to it to effect her with genjutsu. She knew there was a way to use the network to repel genjutsu, but she had no idea how do do that. And that was a Sukami's only defense; even the genjutsu release technique could be easily bypassed by an enemy. It was annoying that for all she knew about tactics to defend against genjutsu, her one natural strength made them all useless for her. However, she wasn't about to let Kazuki know that. This weakness, allong with all her other weaknesses, were closely guarded secrets. "Well, I suppose you could get someone to teach you the genjutsu release technique. The easier way though, is to do something to focus on something besides the illusion. Pain works the best. Stabbing yourself in the hand is painful enough to break you out of most lower-level genjutsu. The real problem is figuring out you're in a genjutsu in the first place. Once you do, it usually isn't that hard to greak out unless you're going against a skilled opponent. And the only real way to get used to telling illusion from reality is practice."Akeru looked at Kazuki with a malicious smile. "I could help you practice that, you know...I'm always looking for a guinea pig...err volunteer to try out new genjutsu on."

♫ Yukai Okaeshi ♫ she looked at the boy when he asked her, sucking the ramen up into her mouth, before wiping it with her arm. sorry, i dont know any new genin, i mean i am one , but i'm already in a team, and by the looks of it, you arnt in one. she pushed the now empty bowl towards the owner, who took it away. she stood up, and folded her arms for warmth, the cold was biting at her hard now, boy did she wish she took her jacket. if you would like, i could take you to my sensai, i'm sure he could tell you. she gave a smile, while shivering a little bit from the cold.

When Shiso had walked up to the Fortress Nemutai-sensei and the others were staying at, she was surprised to see that they weren't there.
"..." What happened? Did they all went ahead of her and Ichi? Seemed pretty early for that...
"There you are," said Shiki as she neared Ichi-te and Shiso, "Morning."
"Where is everyone?" asked Shiso, putting her hands back in her pockets as she did so.
"... They probably went for some breakfast. Maybe."
"... So where's Nemutai-sensei?"
"... Asleep. I saw quite a mess made in his cellar, but nothing new. He should be waking up any moment."
"Should we find everyone?"
"Soon as Nemui-kun gets his a** down here," retorted Shiki sharply as she cracked her neck, uncaring if Shiso flinched or not, "He's the one who got the most sleep last night. He wouldn't give me a moment's rest, even if it was for five minutes. I still have bruises from last night."
Shiso stared at the tall, bug-eyed woman as she said this and blushed, her mouth wide open as she looked the other way to hide her reaction.
'Say WHAT...?!'
