 Kazuki grinned and held up his book."No way!"He sort of forgot Ichi's presence in front of him and spoke to himself even though Ichi was right there. "It makes sense now! You must be related to this Kazekage I heard about. That's why you can wield sand like that." He focused on Ichi with triumph in his eyes."Am I right?"

Ichi looked at kazuki as he yelled, this make Ichi jumped slightly as all this happened. "U-u-ummmm k-kinda" He said looking at the book in his hands; it was kinda true; but his response would most likely be taken for the fact that he was just stuttering at the fact that kazuki yelled. "Y-yeah my g-grandma and grandpa are Ruka and the kazekage"

Kazuki could vaguely remember seeing an elderly lady wandering around the academy helping kids with their kunai or other stuff. She was nice. He had an idea."Hey Ichi I've got an idea. Let's have a little sparring match. I promise not to hurt you too badly."He smiled as he said this to try to catch him off guard.

Ichi stepped back. "A-a sparring match?" he asked looking at Kazuki. "Ummm...... s-sure" He said taking a few steps away from kazuki. He didn't really want to spar, but he had already said yes to it.

Can become a great hurricane"  Akira's eyes slowly started to open, and he could see the bright sun in the sky. Once he realized where he was, he shot up, immediately looking around. He couldn't believe that he had Akeru beat and he let her trick him. Now he was sure he'd never hear the end of it from her.

Akeru had sat beside Akira as he was sleeping. She decided she really needed to learn some easier way of waking people from her genjutsu, something besides the technique she already had. There was something inherently mean about making people live through their greatest fears over and over until they couldn't take it anymore and woke up. So she just let Akira sleep, waiting for him to wake up naturally. By the time he began to stir, Akeru was nodding off herself. When she saw him get up, she shook the cobwebs out of her own head and turned to him. "Geez, Akira, you sleep like a log, you know? Do you know how long I've been sitting here waiting for you to get up?"She reached a hand out to Akira, offering a handshake. "You put up a good fight. You actually had me worried for a while there, you're really a lot stronger than I thought!"Akeru looked to Akira with a cheery smile. She was being genuine this time, he did really impress her. But, of course, she still won in the end.

Can become a great hurricane" "Umm..."Akira hesitated as Akeru extended her hand out. He wasn't sure if it was just another trap for him to fall into. But he eventually took her hand. "Well...thank you. You weren't bad yourself."Akira wanted to yell at her and call her a cheater for having done what she did, but she was actually being nice to him for once. He'd rather not jeopardize that just because she cheated.

Kazuki nodded. "Yeah I figure we both need some practice with these tools and our jutsu so let's practice sparring. Just not anything too dangerous ok?" He smirked at Ichi. Based off of his earlier comment Kazuki felt he wouldn't have to worry about that but he would have to control himself more than Ichi had to. He wondered what Kyou was doing right now for a second but threw that thought away. He needed to focus. He turned to Ichi and took a ready stance.

"You were actually really helpful, Akira. I never fought anyone as defensive as you before. It made me realize I need to learn some more techniques, especially with the chunin exams coming up and everything."Akeru would never admit it, but her lack of offensive techniques really hurt her in battle. It was because her techniques were developed to play tricks on people mostly. She needed to get more serious. "Hmm...there isn't much time left, right? I'm gonna go work on developing something new. Then I'll be sure to make chunin!"

Ichi had already moved into his normal stance, in which he held one arm close to his body, the fact that he was in a desert made sparring much easier then normal for him at the moment then it had been in the cloud village."Y-you can go first" He said still standing there not really having made a move.

Kazuki nodded and picked up three kunai, one for each hand. He threw them towards Ichi one at a time and moved to the sides circling Ichi. Once, one hand was empty he reached out to pick up the large shuriken. He didn't throw it yet but unloaded the other hand of kunai.

Ichi Didn't move however the sand around him quickly rose up and caught the kunai in mid air; blocking all the incoming projectiles. Ichi still remaining in his pace turned slightly in order to keep his eyes on Kazuki....
As he turned the Sand Under Kazuki rose up like a spike aiming to knock him off balance; this attack could have been deadly; but the 'spike' was rounded and not moving with a large amount of force.

"Woah!" Kazuki almost ran into the spike but managed to keep his balance. He threw the shuriken with all his strength toward Ichi's sand barrier. He knelt to form some handsigns while the shuriken traveled to its target.

As the Shuriken sliced through the air coming towards him, Ichi raised one hand up and lazily swept it forward almost giving the 'shoo' motion, as he did that a human height wave of sand rose up and knocked the weapon away burring it under the sand; the wave continuing towards Kazuki.

Kazuki dodged over the wave by jumping over it. He charged towards Ichi. He had finished his handsigns but was saving his attack for a closer breakthrough. He wanted to pierce through this sand shield. That was the real reason he had wanted to spar, to beat Ichi's defenses to show him he wasn't safe behind them and needed to be more aggressive.
