 Tanto "Did you have any trouble? It took a lot longer than it should have..." Tanto remarked before standing on his own and making several strides towards the door to open it himself. The kazekage opened the door and stepped out of the way to let them in, was that a smile on his face?

Kyou looked at Akeru and nodded slightly in understanding. Though she didn't now why she was telling her that... Kyou would never disrespect any one, exspecially the kazekage. She didn't care that they went on a long pointless mission just to get his lunch, she was perfectly fine with it. She glanced up at the Kazekage as he opened the door and she just walked in after Akeru. "H-here you go, s-sir..." she said and held out the box with the sandwih for him to take.

Within every illusion, there is reality"  "Nah, it didn't...*ahem* I mean, I'm sorry that it took longer than expected, kazekage-sama, but we had some team chemistry problems along the way, but we were able to deal with them."Akeru was definitely trying hard to be respectful. It definitely wasn't her natural state, she felt much more comfortable when she could speak freely, but she didn't want her mouth to get her more missions like that one either. "Here you are, Kazekage-sama. We put a lot of effort into it, so I hope you enjoy it."Akeru was hoping that Tanto would notice that she didn't give a single complaint, and that she wasn't even hinting at her discomfort with the mission. She still was going to make him pay someday, but for now she was going to try to be a perfectly obedient chunin. Hopefully Tanto would gain a little more trust in her and put her on more important missions in the future. "So, kazekage-sama, unless there's anything else you need from us, we'll go back to our individual training."

Tanto Tanto happily accepted the package and placed it on his desk to tend to in a few minutes. "What do you mean by you put a lot of effort into it? Did you girls have to make it?" There was a slight look of confusion on his face, obviously he didn't know what they were talking about. "Oh! Did we ever fill those three open positions?" Wait... Did he just say we?

Kyou glanced at akeru who was being oddly nice, and it seemed really out of character for her... she then glanced back at the Kazekage after he had taken the sandwich and asked some questions. "Y-yes sir... when we got there we were rushed into the kitchen and told to cook, t-they thought we were applying for jobs..." she explained in her usual nervous manner. But his next question confused her. What positions...? What was he talking about...? "W-what positions, sir...?" she asked him, now really confused.

"The woman that was there...she said that there were only three girls that were supposed to be coming from Suna...and they were supposed to be new applicants for the job. So she made us make it as a test to see if we were good enough for the position. Umm...that wasn't what you intended, kazekage-sama?"Now it was Akeru that was confused. This that woman pull a fast one on them just to get them to do the work for her? And plus, what did Tanto mean when he said did 'we' fill the positions? "...She said something about how the food was the owner's recipie...Umm...you wouldn't happen to be...the owner...would you?"

Tanto Tanto frowned and leaned his head forward, bowing, "Tanto, O-Punsandoicchi owner and primary chef, did you happen to see my sister? She usually does the hiring and employee recruitment." Taking the second to come to a full standing position in front of them before walking back to his desk. "I come up with the recipes, cook them once, catalog them, and hand them over when they stop by on Sunday to restock. While they are making their rounds through the desert they make the ones from the catalog and send them back here so I can make sure they are making them right before they are put on the menu. So... Would you all like to taste the fruits of your labor?" The Kazekage grinned holding out a plate that seemed to magically appear with four equally sized portions of the sandwich layed elegantly in a square, the obvious work of a true culinary genius!

Within every illusion, there is reality"  "...Well that was highly unexpected..."Akeru didn't think that Tanto was the cooking type, or that he had a sister. But here she was, proven wrong. She looked down to the piece of the sandwich that he was offering her. "Thank you. And if your sister is Seki, then we saw her. I was surprised how many customers she was getting, the stand being in the middle of the desert and all."Akeru took a bite of the piece of the sandwich. As she did, the flavor rushed towards her. It was the best thing she had ever tasted! Usually, she would eat whatever she could scrounge up, but this was definitely something special. "Wow! And this is you recipie, Tanto-sama? You've got to teach me your secrets! I'd love to be able to make stuff like this all the time! N-not that I really like cooking or anything, it would just...uhh...be helpful on missions..."

Kyou looked up at the Kazekage as he spoke. H-he owned the sandwich place?! Well... that would make sence then... Kyou listened to him and Akeru talk and she looked at the plate with the sandwiches that he held out to them. "Oh, t-thank you..." she thanked him and took a sandwich from him and took a bite. It really did taste good. She smiled slightly as she listened to the two speak and she niddbled on her sandwich.

Tanto Tanto turned first to Akeru, "I know, everyone freaks out when they find out I used to be Cooking-ninja. Seki was as well, and yes she's my sister... And if Seki didn't tell you at the stand, you can't really remake my recipes, its the ingredients and blend that make them taste so unique." The Kazekage was still smiling, highly unusual when addressing an all female team, "however, I have an actual offer for you three a reoccurring mission that involves the stand. If you choose to accept it is up to you, but it will benefit you all pretty well. However, you will get the needed rest time between to train and rest, it will only be for one day out of the week after all."

Kyou listened to Tanto and looked at him as he spoke. A reoccuring mission...? Well, Kyou really wanted to just go and train for the next exams, but as a ninja it was important to help others. So as long as she had down time to train and rest, she didn't see any harm in it... "O-Okay... I wouldn't mind that...' she said in agreement.

Within every illusion, there is reality" "...A reoccuring mission, huh?"Even though Tanto was seeming a lot nicer than usual, she still didn't like the idea of this 'reoccuring mission'. It sounded to her like they were going to become employees of that stand. And while she had to admit (to herself anyway) that she actually did enjoy being able to cook in a nice setting with good ingredients, it also looked like he was pushing the female team away from the real action. "That sounds nice...but If we're doing those missions, will we have time for other, more combat-oriented missions? I mean, I know a ninja does much more than just fight, but I would like a chance to test out the products of my training every once in a while..."Akeru was surprised with herself. That came out much better and more respectful than the 'hell no you sexist pig!' that was going through her head. This 'self control' thing wasn't nearly as hard when one got used to it.

Tanto "When did I say that the reoccurring mission weren't combat-oriented missions?" Responded the Kazekage with a massive grin and glint in his eye, where was he going with this? "Then again I didn't say they were. Are you guys wanting to take the chance? I'm fine either way, I can find other ninja who would dance on one leg for these missions. Its a steady income since you would be on the stand's payroll as well as getting payment for completing the missions. So, what will it be? Yes or no?"

However, it seemed that Kyou was already onboard with this...plus, being one of Suna's temporarily undomiciled, it wasn't like Akeru couldn't use the extra money. "Well...combat or no...I think our team has a pretty good chemistry, and I really don't want to break it up. So, if Kyou wants to do this, and Roze doesn't have a problem, then I'm on board too. .....*sigh*....."Akeru knew there was the chances that this could be disasterous. This could all be part of some kind of evil plot from Tanto to turn her into a cooking, cleaning housewife! But, she supposed she could at least see this out. Just like going to the stand before, there was a chance it wouldn't be all bad...

It's Just beneath the skin...
As Ichi headed from his house to the Kage's office, the people of the village seemed to remained as far from him as they ever did; seeing as how the only thing they knew was different was the fact that he no longer had the gourd on his back. However Ichi ignored the villagers as best as he could; simply heading to the Kage's office without bothering to stop.
As he Reached the office the Genin knocked on the door a number of times.... Waiting for Tanto to answer.
