Shuniji gave Akashii a blank look. Twas the blankest of all blank looks. He may as well have been wearing that mask again, as it would have portrayed slightly more expression than he was letting slip passed his dead-eyed gaze in Akashii's direction.

He calmly unsheathed his megaphone from his belt, turned to the staircase, and screamed.

"WHO ARE YOU, AGAIN?"

The sound shook the metal balcony all the way around, hitting the railings and causing them to vibrate violently; particularly the one Akashii was posing against.

Seika and Kazou practically fell over on their rears from the quake Shuniji caused. Not Akashi, though. He was thrown off the edge along with his parade of Fan girls. Seika and her Father glanced over the edge of the mangled bars with nothing more than a deadpanned stare. Maybe he died or something. They both resumed what they were doing as if nothing happened.

"I wonder...when it was that you stopped telling me things." He was the first to speak with deep and fairly powerful voice spoke, alerting Seika's attention. However, She didn't even look up. She just seated herself against the wall and merely continued polishing her Scythe. "When you stopped being a father to me." She answered with a grimace, not even giving him the courtesy of looking up to meet her fathers gaze. This man was a stick in the mud, and Seika knew this fairly well. Though she didn't really feel much contempt for him. He was only...serving the Otokage. The lack of feeling comes with the job. Kazuo or rather...her father just stared at her small figure with cold, soul piercing eyes. "Stand up and face me like a normal person." He ordered with a stern snarl as he stood directly in front of her. It was fairly easy to tell that he had a bone to pick with his rebellious daughter. However, Seika wasn't exactly in the mood for anyone's crap, much less his. "No, Go be a Douche bag elsewhere." She answered, shifting her position away from him. It was fairly obvious she wasn't in the talking mood. Dad on the other-hand...wouldn't take the hint.

He remained standing there with a pursed lip. "How..unsightly of you, Seika. Was this how you were raised?" His words were bitter and unfriendly. He spoke to her...as if she were just another criminal he was to interrogate. And in a sense...he was interrogating her. Seika merely shrugged and rubbed at her forehead for a moment. All this crap was giving her a headache. "Why...do you even care? This doesn't concern you." Her tone got sharper as she spoke. "I've been punished, I'm set on the right path....and I'm doing what I'm supposed to now." She grimaced, giving off a clear sign that she wasn't happy with what she was saying...at all. Her father wasn't buying any of this bullshit she was spewing. He knew her...Yes, He knew her all to well.

"If you were content with how things were, then you wouldn't be looking so miserably sickening." He pointed out with a blunter tone, but Seika knew he was mocking her. Yep, He already knew why she was sobbing around, he was just asking her simply to be an a**, which he loves doing on a regular basis. So she quickly responded by literally spitting in his face, giving him an accusing and hurt stare. "Look, I don't care what you do, I don't care about you, You never cared about my feelings. Hell, you didn't even care about Moms, and all she did was LOVE you!" She barked helplessly and slowly stood up. Kazuo had barley moved an inch. He simply watched his daughter with a raised brow as she cursed him. He looked...more or less amused at her small act of rebellion. Her Father smirked. "Pfft, please. Only a stupid, foolish mind could invent something as insipid as love."

"That's a lie!"
Seika shot up with her fists clenched in anger. Normally her father didn't bother with her and what she did, but why now? Why should he suddenly get involved with her problems? He's always just throw a put down at her and carry on with his business...

Kazuo just stood there motionlessly before drawing a long sigh. "Fine, I'll use an example. Your partner."

"Friend."
She corrected him.

Kazuo's gaze turned into a sharp glare, as if daring her to speak while he was talking. "No, he's your Partner. A temporary teammate, somebody whom you don't have an attachment to. Get it in your head already." Why was it always so difficult to explain things to this child? Was it REALLY because of her anti-socialism? Or was she just being stubborn?

Seika's eyes were still lit with fury. Just looking at her father made her sick to her stomach. "You don't know anything." She seethed. No, really. What the hell does he know? As far as she knew, he hadn't even met Shuniji! Then again...he could have been observing them for a long time.

Kazuo stood there for a moment, trying to gather the ridiculous reply he got from her. He was no longer convinced it was her anti-socialism, but sheer stubbornness. Her father shook his head disapprovingly. "No, Seika. It's YOU that doesn't know. Do you really think he feels the same way? That you're "Friends?" You think you're trying to help him, but you're only making it worse. He'll end up killing you someday if you keep it up." He spoke like he knew Shun's type, but really it was just the logic of every other Sound nin. Emotional baggage normally ended up as canon fodder for the real Sound nin.

Seika on the other hand...shook her head in disagreement. "What I do with Shun is none of your concern. More over, I made a promise to him. I'm going to see it through. Now, Please leave." No longer wanting to speak with her father, she gave him the shooing gesture. Probably one of the most careless mistakes.

Like a bolt of lightning he hand was swift and unavoidable. He struck her across the face and gripped her neck with his other hand. "You fool, Focus on the Otokage and your task. Don't waste your time on a problematic, man child like him." He snapped, almost half tempted to tighten his full grip on her neck and NEVER let go until her breathing subsides. "Why, Seika? Why do you do it? Why keep fighting this issue? It's just self torture!" Seika hadn't even made an effort to move or retaliate. She just returned his gaze with a dull stare, Not saying a word. She was obviously done talking to him, This compelled Kazuo to continue speaking. "Do you believe you're fighting for something? Can you tell me what it is, do you even know?!" He asked, jolting her with his hand once to recapture her attention. However, Seika didn't answer...she just responded by spitting in his face.

He drove his fist into her stomach before releasing his grip on her. Seika dropped to the ground, clutching her stomach. She couldn't even scream in pain, the wind was completely knocked out of her. "It's pointless to keep perusing happiness, friendship...or even love. Just keep your head down and do what you're told, Like a good girl. Okay?" Feeling rather accomplished, Kazuo smirked and pat the top of Seika's head warmly. However, only Seika knew...that he was just teasing her, Rubbing his logic in her face. Like a puppy that peed on the floor.

With a hard swipe of her hand, Seika swat his hand away and gave him a furious glare. She threatened him with labored breaths.

Kazuo simply chucked and straightened his posture, looking down at his miserable looking child with the same cold stare as always. "Before I leave..there's something I think you should know. Or maybe just...food for thought." He shifted uncomfortably and rolled his shoulder before speaking again. "I did love your mother, which is exactly why I took the liberty of putting her down myself. Poison..is such a wonderful thing, you know that? Anyway...I made the mistake of loving somebody like her. A fool, and you're turning into her. You'll probably die, but I only hope that you'll get burned harder than I. Then maybe you'll understand with your last dying thought, that things such as Friendship and Love are merely illusions of a false happiness."

Not even half way into his little speech and Seika had already looked completely mortified. Her pupils were narrowed and Her mouth was moving, but words could not escape her. She was choking. Hell, she couldn't even BELIEVE this. And he said it so casually. All sorts of emotions had flooded her mind, the most noticeable one was- "YOU MURDERER!" Rage, her body trembled with it. She gripped at his ankle and continued to scream at him. "WHY?! Y-YOU MONSTER! SHE DIDN'T DO ANYTHING! SHE TRUSTED YOU, LOVED YOU! HOW COULD YOU DO SOMETHING LIKE THAT TO MOTHER?!"

"It was inevitable, Seika."
He shrugged casually, rolling his eyes at Seika's sudden outburst of emotions.
"HORRIBLE, YOU'RE HORRIBLE!" She yelped with a stream of tears running softly down her cheek.
"Why are you crying? It was her own fault. You shouldn't be sad for Senri." He ripped his leg from her grasp and turned, trailing off in the other direction. Seika just curled up in a small fetal ball. Whatever piece of mind she had had completely disappeared. Her hope, her ideals. Everything crushed along with her heart. This hurt almost as bad as the Otokage's mental torture.

Before completely trailing off, he turned slightly, raising a brow at her trembling figure. "...Why don't you just take his advise instead? It's obvious that your advise is...well, stupid. Like I said, Keep your head down and do what your told. And for ******** sake, stop that idealistic crap and be a Sound nin! THAT'S what your mother really wanted. It's why she encouraged you to go out on your own. So you'd get a bitter taste of what life here is really like. She didn't want you to die like her." He paused for a moment, waiting for a mutter, a word, any sort of responc- Oh there it was. The middle finger. "Come home soon~!" He cooed, making a small wave and left Seika to go sulk.

To Seika, it could have seemed like hours, even days since her little talk with her father. However, only a good ten minutes have passed. There were dried up streams of tears on her cheeks, while the edges of her eyes were a raw pink. She sat there in a zombified state. Her small figure was completely motionless. Like a dusty old doll on the highest shelf, She might as well be dead. Nothing made sense to her anymore. Or maybe....everything did make sense now, it was just hard to accept it. The truth. Her father came here specifically for the purpose of cutting Seika down. A girl that walked by her had tripped over her leg. Seika didn't even respond to the pain of being stepped on. Maybe he cut too much down...

Everything seemed so...plastic to her. Like it was fake, all of this was just a bad dream. She'd wake up and she'd still be in her bed. Her mother would still be alive, her father would be off on a mission. However, Seika knew that this was real. It was just hard to accept. She had been lied to...Seika hated liars...just as much as Shun hated hypocrites. Her fingers twitched unconsciously, letting itself know she was still alive. What should she do now? Her mother was murdered for being to soft...well, it goes deeper than that, but it's the basics. The thing that bugged Seika the most...was his very last statement. Was that really what mom meant?

....She understood now. Seika had been thinking to much about the world OUTSIDE of Sound. The love people had shared for one another. She had witnessed it, and it was real. However, Seika was a Sound nin...her world was supposed to be only as Vast as the Village. She had tricked herself into thinking that the same type of love exists here in this dismal ******** up Village. It doesn't, that's not how it works. If she wished to continue surviving, she needed to destroy her ideals and take advise from somebody who knows better. Ouch...Seika could feel her pride dying. Maybe...she'd give it a try. That's what...mother wanted. She wanted Seika to understand her place in this village.

Seika ran away because things got too tough. She made the mistake of trusting outsiders and considering them "Friends". When she noticed it, she'd try and shut her feelings away, but there was a big hole in her heart that kept leaking until she was drowned in her own feelings. And here she is now...sulking after getting a reality check from somebody who had nothing to do with her until now. It was because...Seika wouldn't listen if it was anybody else. She'd repeat her mistakes until she died. However, there was no way Seika would go back home after that. Kazuo probably knew that, but if it was what it took for her to understand, then it was a necessary sacrifice. Just like Senri, her Mother.

Seika clenched her fists and groaned at the painful thought. The first movement she had made in the last five minutes that passed since her zombie-like pondering. She understood now. It wasn't about her own happiness, but serving the Village, the Otokage at the extent of her own life. Seika didn't mind being disposable. Maybe she just hated the idea of dying unhappily. That didn't matter now...The life to her eyes had returned with a new determination. A new goal...She slowly stood up, gripping her stomach. That punch still hurt...she could tell her father restrained himself, Even when punching her.

Seika glanced up, checking if Shun was still in the same place. Yeeeep. She hopped down from the mangled mess of bars and did a small barrel roll for a softer landing. "Hey, You..." She was so dazed she couldn't even remember Shun's name. Seika paused for a moment. Let's try this again. "Shun." She started with a slight look of irritation at herself. It was difficult for her to talk about things like this. Therefor for somebody who was anti-social..."It turns out I hate my father because he's a lying murdering piece of trash, and to keep myself from going to jail for man slaughter, I need to find a different place to live." .....That could have been phrased better, but Seika was still upset so it didn't matter to her. "I realized how asinine my ideals were, that I was wrong about some things." Seika wasn't going to specify, her pride was already dying. "I've strayed from the point of being a Sound nin and I'd like to re-educate myself... However, I can't get along with anybody here...and if I tried to do it myself I'd probably throw myself in a repetitive cycle of feelings again...so it's sort of pointless." She mumbled, getting more quieter as she spoke. Seika glared at the ground with her fists clenched. She must have realized how stupid she sounded. That...or she was having trouble with saying "You were right and I was wrong". Either was a high possibility. Though it was true. Shuniji practically worshiped the Otokage. He'd be the perfect person to learn from....but that also meant having to put up with his....Shuniji-ness. Which was hard for her to do....like pulling teeth from a baby. Seika hated herself now.

Shuniji had no idea what was up with that obnoxious guy or that man who was turned out to be Seika's father. (Why did he feel so familiar?) Of course, now that Seika had confronted him about the ordeal personally, his blank, frankly disturbed expression switched from being caused by what had just happened to what was currently happening.

"...Are you sucking up to me so that you can... live with me?"

Yes, disturbed was probably the right word. Shuniji wondered exactly how many languages he knew the word "no" in.

Unfortunately for Shuniji, he actually started to register Seika's explanation. She wanted to become a better ninja.

"Daaammniiiiit..." he whined mostly to himself. If Seika wanted to become a better, more professional shinobi then that made it his duty as a fellow warrior and supporter of the Otokage to make sure that happened. 'Curse you, nationalistic pride! Curse youuuuu!'

"Temporarily," Shuniji blurted out, which was probably for the best because actually taking time to think about what was going on made his head hurt. "And I mean very temporary. I'm going to drill Sound values into your head so hard you will leave through the hole the pressure breaks in my floor. And only pack an overnight bag. I don't have room in my room for your crap."

'Whhaaaat am I doooiiiiing??'

Seika kept her head down as Shun spoke. She couldn't really blame him ...it was weird asking such things. Especially when they were on such rocky terms. Was it always like that? Ouch, Her pride was dying. Or maybe it was already dead...and that was just her dignity slowly withering away. Or maybe it was just stomach cramps. However, she flinched when he finally answered. She half expected him to beat the hell out of her for even suggesting it. Though Seika wasn't going to question his answer, not when he was offering to teach her how to be a better Ninja....emotionally...or morally, Both needed work. "R-right. Thank you..." She replied and gave a deep bow in gratitude. He didn't have to do it, help her like she requested. But he was anyway, so Seika wasn't going to be a brat to him. And it's not like she actually watched herself for it, it's normally accidental.

Seika straightened her posture and winced, she was still hurting from that Run in with Akashii....or whatever that man creature was. It filled her with joy to know he was gone now. She gently slid her sleeve up over her hand to get a better look at it. The wound was spread from her middle finger to her wrist. It was deep and a bit swollen. Seika scowled as she inspected it further. There was poison on his weapons. The swelling was an obvious sign. However, it wasn't really lethal. No...it was more of an irritant. He meant to disarm her and keep her from using her Scythe. This was actually the worst wound she had received from him. He might have actually killed her if he took a strike at her chest, but she doubted that was his intention.

Seika let a lazy sigh escape her before reaching behind her belt and taking out a small, mangled roll of bandages. "You needn't worry. I'll only pack a small suitcase. It'll be big enough for a couple changes of clothes and a few cleanly items." Her voice was much calmer and more relaxed as she spoke. Her hand seemed to shake feverishly as she tried to bandage it up. A normal symptom for most deep wounds. It hurt...a lot, and Seika was trying to distract herself by talking to Shun....it sort of worked.

For the sake of not experiencing uncomfortable silence, Seika continued with what she was doing and plopped down on the cold ground in a cross legged position. Her facial expression was much more blank and dull, as if seeing something much closer to a broken record. It wasn't anything new. Here she was, back home where she belonged. Though, to her it was more like rehab. Seika was recovering from her new found feelings, they were like drugs in a way. Addicting, wonderful and harmful to her health at the same time. They were no good here, and caused problems. It felt like she had been diseased by the outside world. However, Seika knew a way to fix it. She could make herself better. She could make herself stronger, mentally at least.

Seika raised her head to gaze upon Shun once more. There was no contempt, no emotion conveyed to him what so ever. Her intentions couldn't be read like this. In one swift motion, she tossed her Scythe his direction. "Hold this, please." Seika requested in a dry tone and took in a deep breath, trying to relieve herself of any bothersome surroundings. It was time to train a very special Genjutsu. A specific one that has been passed down the Cheshiru family. Of course, knowing Seika, she'd find a way to alter it a bit to her liking. She would create a Genjutsu that would reflect her Nightmares. Yes....much like one. However, in order to do that. Seika needed to experience it herself, to make sure she was doing it right and understand it's effects. The headphones needed to come off in order to use it.

Seika motioned to un-clip her headphones, but hesitated. She didn't really know what to expect if she removed them. It was different every time. When Seika was small, and she was getting used to the headphones. There were times where she'd remove them quite frequently. Seika wanted to believe there was nothing wrong with her, that they were a mere figment of her imagination in which she could overcome. Which it was, but the only problem was. Her tireless training as a Genjutsu artist had long term effects. Without her headphones, Seika would be susceptible to her own Genjutsu and slowly fall out of her head. She would become unable to differentiate illusions from reality. Which made her a danger to herself and others. Seika's insomnia only fed this factor. Was she really ready to relive this experience again?

After a long pause, Seika finally removed her headphones and set them on the ground beside her. It felt sort of weird without any noise...or music blaring in her ears. It was...quiet. Seika turned her gaze back over to Shun and carefully inspected his features. There wasn't anything disfigured or abnormal about him. Come to think of it...everything was normal? A bit paranoid, Seika stood up and glanced around at her surroundings. There wasn't anything out of the ordinary. This is what bugged Seika the most. Something was very wrong. However, Her composure remained calm and somewhat normal. This may be a test of some sorts. Maybe the Genjutsu was lulling her into a sense of comfort before striking. Wait, the Genjutsu did start, right? Where were the Nightmares she had been cursed with since childhood? Where was Saika?!

Outside the Genjutsu:

Seika seemed to be giving Shun a strange look, it was almost like she was disgusted with him. Which didn't last long of course. Without warning, she dropped to her knee's and started regurgitating her lunch and whatever she may have had today. However, there just seemed to be no end to her vomiting, It was everywhere. It seems the Genjutsu made it so you could move freely about, but anything that happened inside the Genjutsu seemed to have some effect on you physically. The effects were basically self inflicted. The black goo that seemed to ooze out of her mouth in the Genjutsu, was actually just her regurgitating last night's dinner outside of the Genjutsu

-----------

Inside the Genjutsu:

A few minutes had gone by since she took her headphones off, now Seika started to consider the possibility that she may have outgrown her Nightmares. This would be bad for her, because then the Genjutsu wouldn't work. However, Seika didn't let her guard down for even a second. Something was wrong, she could feel it in her gut. The fact that nothing was wrong was actually the problem. Her paranoia seemed to increase as she kept investigating her surroundings, being over skeptical about every detail in the dim lighted area. Seika wouldn't know, but her paranoia was only the beginning of the hell she cursed upon herself.

Maybe it was best if Seika asked Shuniji to volunteer. She may be doing something wrong. Or maybe it just wasn't possible for her to see it. Why though? If Dad could do it...couldn't she? Then again...Dad was a prodigy at Genjutsu, without the mental issues even. Seika motioned to call for Shun, but found her voice had been...muted? She tried to speak once more, but felt something swell up in her throat until it leaked out of her mouth. Seika's eyes widened as she slowly dabbed her fingers on her lips to find....a thick, black liquid oozing out of her mouth. She tried desperately to spit the goo out, but to no avail. Only more would come to take it's place. However, what was more disturbing to her was the lack of sound, she couldn't live without it. In-fact...the only thing she could hear was her own heart beat racing. Her cries, her struggling...had yet to be heard.

Seika's heart began to feel heavier as time progressed. Each beat was labored and stung like hell. She winced and tried to take deep breathes, but as soon as she inhaled, the black goo seemed to intercept and make her gag. Even breathing through her nose was a difficult process. Then came a smell...it was putrid and repulsive, like rotting flesh. Which made her not want to breathe at all. Chills ran down Seika's spine, giving her a cold sweat. Everything had started to slowly spin around her. Now she wasn't quite sure if this was real or not, but her body felt everything as if it were real. And everything around her seemed to grow darker, even Shun's appearance seemed to morph into a grotesque figure. His eyes seemed to sink into the back of his skull, while his skin took on a grayish tone. Even the taste of his chakra seemed to change with his appearance. Which sent her into a panicked state. She couldn't breathe, yet she could still taste the putrid, dead stench that he was producing.

Seika dropped to her knee's and struggled to breathe, she was choking, and too scared to try and overcome the situation. Seconds before Seika was about to pass out, there was a voice that whispered to her. "What are you afraid of?" The voice was feminine. It was sweet and soothing, however there was a faint undertone of something sinister in the voice. It was evil. However, Seika knew exactly what this voice was. Some say it would be like looking into a mirror, and staring at the dark corner behind you. This was Seika's original personality. Of course not to be mistaken for a split personality. It was more like...suppressing certain feelings and urges for the sake of normalcy. It was Seika's true face.

Outside the Genjutsu::

After puking up yesterdays supper, Seika slowly stood up and wobbled around like a drunk. Her eyes seemed to be hollow and tired. Then, without warning Seika wrapped her hands around her own neck and started choking herself until she passed out on the floor. Her training was done for now. It was obvious this Genjutsu would be handled differently, if used on another person, but Seika just needed to grasp the concept of her Genjutsu. It...obviously worked. Though it's noted that she should use this Genjutsu at her own discretion. It not only effected the opponent, but herself too. This could become a problem.

Inside the Genjutsu::

The goo that was laboring Seika's breathing had merely turned to dust, causing her to let out a series of loud, hoarse coughs. Her nails dug aggressive into the ground as she wheezed in an attempt to clear her throat. When Seika glanced up, there was an anonymous mirror that stood in-front of her. While it seemed harmless, It's presence was making her feel uneasy.

Seika slowly stood up to face the mirror with a grimace. There was an aura of something foreboding that came from the mirror...something terrible and misgiving. Though it's not like she could avoid it though. She figured it had something to do with the plot of this Genjutsu. Or maybe her mind felt like playing more games with her. As Seika gazed at the mirror, she noticed something strange in the reflection. She took a step closer to get a better look at it. The mirror seemed to be playing small scenes of her life, most of them were reflecting on the painful, selfish choices she made. Which didn't really bother Seika, until it started reeling in on the more sensitive memories. Something she was actually trying to recover from.

There, in the mirror. Stood the reflection of Ichite-ru. He looked moderately normal, there wasn't anything disfigured about him. Seika gave the image a sharp glare and pursed her lip. Seeing him, even in a Genjutsu was enough to piss her off. "T-two faced." His reflection stuttered before reshaping itself into a more recent companion. "Liars like you should burn and die." It spoke with a childlike voice. Which was none other than Tatsuya. Seika froze briefly before clenching her fists in anger. "Shut up...You annoy me." She growled at the taunting reflections of her friends. They just smiled and ignored the threat. "You're such a disgrace, you don't belong with real people."
"I said enough!" Seika barked pulled her fist back to punch the mirror, but before she could do so. Something burst out of the mirror and tackled Seika to the ground, taking all the broken shards of glass with it. The shady figure slowly wrapped it's hands tightly around Seika's neck. She tried her best to wrench the strangers hands off her neck, but it's grip was much too strong.

Then, slowly...the assailants identity was revealed. It was...herself? Only the appearance was slightly different. Her hair was purple, while there seemed to be some sort of zipper running across her left eye. And the outfit was even more unsettling. It looked like something from beetle juice. "Kekeke~! Can you still breathe?" The girl asked with a sinister smile and tightened her grip, even digging her nails into Seika's neck. There wasn't any answer from Seika though, she struggled to breathe, but it was already too late. She was out of air, and the girls grip was relentless. There wasn't anything she could do. So Seika passed out.

Poke, poke, poke.
Seika had been awakened by something sharp jabbing her in the side. She had been passed out for well over seven hours. Even when Seika was being prodded by small Genin, she hadn't budged from her laying position. Hell, Seika didn't even bother to open her eyes. She was exhausted and had a headache from hell. She even started to question her motivation to continue breathing. Miserable was how Miss Seika Cheshiru felt. Maybe she should just take a Kunai and- Poke, poke, poke.

"I think she's dead or something."
Spoke a young boy as he prodded her with a spear like weapon.
"....I don't know, try poking her eye." Suggested his partner.

"Touch me with that again, and it's going straight up your a**." Seika replied and shot the two younger ninja a horrid glare. Though her main focus was on the one holding a sharp spear only inches from her eye. The two of them almost jumped out of their skin and took off hastily in the other direction. Seika didn't even bother moving to peruse them, there wasn't any point in it. Never mind the fact that she could get in serious trouble for killing small children. Nah, she'd be doing them a favor. They'd thank her later when they're not dying of some sort of skin cancer from being burned alive. Something like that..

After a few minutes of motivating herself to move her a** and get something done, Seika groaned and sat up with a less than pleased look on her face. She turned her gaze over to her headphones that lay exactly where she left them. Though for some reason, Seika wasn't too enthused about putting them back on either. Really? Something about her was...different; Not in the good way either. It was like somebody turned the b***h dial up to x40. Though it's likely that her lack of headphones had something to do with it. Without them, she was a complete mess. The kind of mess that involves arson and a new meaning to the phrase eat s**t and die.

Seika slipped her headphones on and let them hang loosely around her neck. The faint sound of music could be heard, but it was only loud enough for her to hear. She surveyed the area for a moment before retrieving a few pieces of chakra papers from her arm band. It was time to train her second element. That or occupy her time by productively harassing other people. Or...at least she'd like to call it productive activity. Seika heaved a sigh and straightened her posture before starting this soon to be aggravating training.

Five minutes into the training and she was already starting a pile of crumpled up papers. Some of them were a tad bit damp, but nothing near to what she wanted. If Seika couldn't wad them up, throw them on the ceiling, and make them stick there. It wasn't damp enough. Throwing them at people was always an option. Maybe she needed to concentrate on something water related. Though that was easier said than done. Her mind was currently the thing that was troubling her.

Seika was unhappy, and pretty damn fed up with herself, and he who should not be mentioned. Why the hell would Wild Card target Sound anyway? Yeah, they were a Village full of freaks with the emotional range of a teaspoon, but it's no reason to nuke the place. Or maybe it's just the Otokage they want dead. She wouldn't blame them. Then again, Seika was bound to the Otokage like some horrible arranged marrage; You had no choice in the matter. and against her will too! Ew, No, horrible example. Kill it with fire! Seika cringed. She shouldn't be thinking about him like that anyway. Manipulative, pencil dicked, selfish man child. She scowled at the thought of sucking up to him. To think she'd have to do that for pretty much...her whole life. Or at least until he's sick of her. Seika slapped a damp chakra paper over her face to express the enthusiasm she had for that very thought. 'Dammit, why do you do this to meeee!?'

This sort of thing just wouldn't do. And there really wasn't a way to escape it. Unless she died or something. It was a considerable option. Seika gave a long sigh in depression and tossed the crumpled, damp chakra paper at the wall nearest to her. There really wasn't a way around this, was there? Not to mention she was still upset with Shun for that whole backstabbing ordeal, but she had to stay and put up with him, because he was all she had when it came to socializing with people. Just being reminded of what he did made her accidentally rip the next piece of chakra paper. Well, it's not like Seika HATED the Otokage and Shun. She just didn't agree with how they handled things.

Seika's eye twitched in mild irritation at the thought of them both. The Otokage was excused from her s**t list because Seika convinced herself his PMS was genetic or something. Maybe the guy is really a chick, wait no...he was bitching about a "clone" or whatever. That must mean he's a...He? 'WHY AM I TRYING TO FIGURE OUT SOMETHING LIKE THAT!?' Seika briefly considered bashing her head against the wall a few times. In any case. She may have brushed off what Shun did to her, but she didn't forget. Oh hell no. Seika would get him back for what he did. And she had the perfect plan. However, it would require a great amount of patience and careful timing. Yes...Shuniji Fuku would pay. She would just have to put up with him for a little while longer. A smile crept across her lips as she waved the damp paper around. Seika had been so indulged in her thoughts, she hadn't noticed the chakra paper and the progress she made. It was completely damp this time. After a few seconds of carefully inspecting her work, Seika crumpled the damp paper and threw it against the wall. This time it stuck to the wall like glue. It looks like she was done here.

After a small drinking break, Seika trailed back over to the stands of the arena with a small juice box in hand. With a content look on her face, she leaned against the railing of the upper level, watching everybody train themselves on the bottom level. The best thing about being Seika, was that nobody really payed her much mind. They didn't bug her she didn't bother them. There were a few that would go to great lengths to avoid her, but interaction with other people was rare. Seika liked it this way. It sort of made her long for the older days, when she did her own thing. Though she didn't really have to worry about that. Seika didn't have any friends, family, nobody. Her father wasn't included either, he was dead to her. So the fact was, that she was already alone. This was how she wanted it, this is what made her happy.

Seika took another sip of her juice box, smiling all the while. Of course she didn't forget about her training. There was still much to learn...and so little time. There was a flash of disappointment in Seika's eyes. She was reminded of her current situation once more. Well, it wasn't really something she could avoid. But she'd rather not dwell on something so depressing. Though if Seika were to compare who had the crappiest life so far, Shun would have won...if she really cared, but she didn't. It's always nice to pretend though. Seika read in a book somewhere that it makes people "Feel better" and "Trust" you, when concern is shown for their well being or whatever. Seika let a small sigh escape her as she allowed herself to slouch over the railing. It was cold down here...she should have brought a coat or something.

Seika sniffled a bit and took another small sip of her juice box. It's not like she hated him, but sometimes he's a bit more than she can handle. Eh...she wasn't going to let Shun get to her this time. For once, she was alone and content. Let's not ruin the moment with distasteful thoughts of a Drama King. In fact, Seika began singing a small note to help distract herself from such troublesome thoughts. "So I'll find what lies beneath your sick, twisted smile~! As I lay underneath...your cold, jaded eyes."
Siiiiip
"Now you turn the tide on me, 'cause you're so unkind. I will always be here for the rest of my life~!"
That...didn't help at all. Seika needed to be working on her Genjutsu, not sitting around drinking juice boxes like an underage drunk. Ugh...but there wasn't much she could do- Wait a second. Seika had a brilliant idea, but it would require an experimental object person.

Seika glanced around the bottom area for a good candidate for some experimental Genjutsu. It didn't take her long to find somebody of course. Her gaze had been stolen by a rather tall, masculine man. He was at least twice the size of Shuniji....and could probably break Seika like a toothpick. Though to her, she only saw it as a small challenge. He didn't seem to be hanging around anybody. So it told her he was either flying solo, or his teammates, buddies or whatever, were off doing something else. A small smirk crept across her lips as she carefully inspected this man. There was no way Seika could approach this man directly, he'd snap her in half. It was clear that the only way to get the upper hand, is if she lured him. Most body builders were hot headed...Shun would be a fine example, if he wasn't such a f**.

After much contemplating on how she'd approach this man, Seika took one last swig of her juice box and crushed it in her hand. Her devious smile was barley visible through the face mask. She was confident this would work. With one swift motion, Seika threw the juice box at the large man, and watched it bounce off his head with little effect. Though it was more than enough to catch his attention. The man even called out to Seika a few times, but she didn't acknowledge him. The best response to an insult is silence....in this case. If he got no response from her, he'll think she can't hear him, thus getting him even more angry and personally confronting her face to face. This was too easy.

Seika patiently waited for the masculine man to make his way over to her. Though once he started getting a bit closer, She had finally realized how freakishly tall this man was. He didn't seem to talk much though. At least he seemed to express himself through his angry gestures. It might have been a good thing Seika could read them like a book. Once she found he was getting at an acceptable range from her, Seika reached for her Scythe and swung it over her shoulder just in case this didn't work out the way she planned. There was always a backup plan.

Seika motioned to do something, but was interrupted by a nasty sneeze. Oh s**t...she wasn't sick, was she? 'This was a crappy time to be sick! Dammit, I knew the cold weather was trying to kill me.' Seika silently scolded herself while keeping a sharp eye on her freakishly tall target. Her nose felt like it was going to fall off. And with the latex and all...it was hard to ignore. Now the man was merely inches from her, If Seika was going to strike, now was the time to do it. As the tall, built man raised his large fist to strike, but froze in place. There was a look of panic and confusion on his face as he tried to force himself to move, but he was frozen like a statue.

A smirk became visible from Seika's lips while she watched his emotional response to her Genjutsu. She could see his muscles tense up, which told her that he was doing all he could to try and free himself from his statue-like state. Though for him it would just be a waste of strength. This Genjutsu was meant to keep your body still while the assailant chopped you into little pieces, or whatever your fancy for killing. Luckily, Seika wasn't into the whole crazy happy body dismemberment parade. She'd just kill you and be done with it. There was rarely ever a time when she'd "play with her food." Unless it was a Genjutsu of sorts.

There was a point for all of this of course. Seika wanted to try something. It's not like the man was going anywhere soon. With a light sigh, she dismounted her Scythe from her shoulder and swung it around once, getting a feel for the heavy weapon. Fear struck the Man as he watched Seika juggle her Scythe around. A fellow Sound nin wouldn't kill another without reason, right? There was a faint whistling noise coming from the Scythe as it was twirled around like a baton. The noise gradually got louder the more she swung it around. This would make it so if the Man somehow broke himself out of the Genjutsu, he'd still be a bit dizzy and delusional. Though there was no such luck for him. His build was probably pure Taijutsu. Not that Seika cared in the least. He was just a stranger to her. Therefore his existence was not important to her.

The aura surrounding the area started to tense as the two seemed to be in a stand off. Seika could strike at any moment she pleased, but that's not what she wanted to do. Genjutsu binding was easy enough. However, Seika wanted to cast this Genjutsu a different way, only with the same outcome. So if what she predicted was true. The moment she stopped swinging her Scythe around, the the man would be able to move again. Was this a problem for her? Being that he was a Taijutsu user. Yes. This is what Seika wanted though. She needed to put herself in a tough spot to properly learn this Genjutsu. Seika carefully pulled her mask down to her neck, the cold air making each breath she took visible. She was going to try and bind him with the sound of her voice.

The built Ninja's muscles began to tense up as Seika slowed the twirling pace of her Scythe until it almost came to a complete stop. "Had enough?" She finally spoke with a uneven and sickly tone. It was barley noticeable, but she had a small cold. This may be a bit more difficult than she thought. If Seika's current opponent picked up on this, a simple lung shot would take her out with ease. Because breathing seemed like a problem for her at the moment. The air seemed to tense up again as Seika allowed her Scythe to slow to a complete stop. Her opponent had finally been released. The moment the Genjutsu stopped suppressing his movement, the muscular man lunged forward at Seika, charging his fist at her midriff area. Seika quickly countered with a sidestep to the left and hoisted herself over his shoulder, using his arm as a lift. It seems all she was doing was avoiding direct contact with him. Seika was merely biding her time.

Sadly, She seemed to have forgotten that this man was a Taijutsu specialist, and instantly reacted to her movements, sweeping his leg under Seika just as she landed. As she landed on her back, the man rounded on her and threw a punch at her face. There wasn't much time to think, much less react for Seika. She barley managed to counter his attack by launching a high kick to his chest before his punch could connect. The man stumbled back, but remained on his feet. Which wasn't surprising to her, but she'd be stupid not to take advantage of the brief situation. Seika quickly hoisted herself upright and took a One-Leg stance with her left knee up, while her Scythe was pointed downwards, acting as a crutch to keep her flamingo-like position steady. Her breathing became steady and lighter as she became a bit more focused on him.

Once the man regained his footing, he stood there motionlessly, watching Seika's every move. Something was strange about that posture. With a loud grunt, he rolled his shoulders and cracked his masculine neck. It seemed he was getting ready to charge. This urged Seika to rehearse a small battle cry with a bit more confidence. "Come on...Reach your hand out more, Violently make my pain disappear, and defeat me." She urged him with the same snark tone from before. Like a bull to the red cloth, he took the taunt and charged her head on. In one swift motion, Seika spun around in a circle and made a diagonal slice at his midriff area. Luckily, his reaction time was better than she thought. He backed out just in time so it didn't spill his guts, but he still had a pretty nasty gash across his stomach. Seika stood there quietly, resuming her position, poised to strike once more. If she was going to do anything. Now was the time to do it.

It didn't take the man long to recover from that nasty gash on his midriff, because now he wanted to tear Seika's head off. Which is why she was already one step ahead of him. Seika quickly took a sharp breath and started to sing a small tune. "La, la, la, la, la, la-lie." Her voice was small and sweet, however with her recent cold, it seemed to be a bit more scratchy. The man paused for a moment, but it was only out of confusion. The Genjutsu wasn't working. It needed something...a tune. It needed something that would split his ears. Seika thrust her Scythe forwards with both hands, pushing the man back, and began twirling it in a circle. The Scythe had started to make a howling noise as she did so. As Seika predicted, Man's body immediately began to freeze up once more.

Well, her method worked. Though for some reason she didn't seem too happy about what she had discovered. Though, it wasn't that surprising. Seika was tired and somewhat sick. She wanted to rest for awhile. However, she couldn't very well leave this man alive. He was guaranteed to go after her when he was released. Seika approached his statue-like body rather casually, her Scythe was being held dangerously close to his neck. She could do it...At any given moment she could chop his head clean off his shoulders. However...that would make Seika no better than the rest of these sleaze bags. No...she'd make him suffer, like herself. With a small sigh, Seika lowered her Scythe and raised her hand to his face, gently touching his forehead. Within seconds the man fell to the ground, his body limp and motionless as ever. He merely fell asleep to the sound of the death rattle. He'd wake up and wouldn't remember Seika...or anything else that had anything to do with her. Her solemn gaze wandered over to the horrific gash across his stomach and acknowledged it with a curt nod. She left her mark, so there was nothing more for her to do here. And with that, Seika turned, letting out a small hoarse cough. And left him at the mercy of his wound.

"ACHOOOO~!" Was the only sort of noise Seika made after a cramped but good night sleep at Shun's house. The dust in his house only made things worse for her. In-fact she explicitly remembered trying to clean his house up a bit...which probably caused all the dust to be disrupted. Sniff. Well, at least with this cold, she couldn't smell Shun's watermelon flavored Chakra....or anything else for that matter. Ah, but it was still another cold day in Otokagure. Seika would bundle up in a sweater if she was interested in seeing her dad again....or going through Shun's boxes of crap to look for one. Oh well, all this cold air would make Seika's training easier. "ACHOOO!-Ugh.." Sniff. Or maybe the opposite. Either way she felt miserable as hell.

With a small sniffle, Seika sat off to the side of the arena on the first floor. Her cross legged position made it look like she was trying to meditate...which was exactly what she was doing. Seika wanted to grasp the abilities of her water element more. If she could do that...maybe at some point she could combine elements to make something else....eventually. Though for now she needed to focus on her newer element. And Seika of all people was a picky person when it came to certain Ninjutsu. She wanted something that would compliment her Genjutsu, Or knock the opponent back when they got too close. Though at the moment...she wanted something that would conceal her presence, something that would allow her to move around without being detected. Seika wanted to disappear.

Wasn't that the dream of all Sound Ninja? Nah...just Seika. Though despite how depressing her current mind set was, she held on to that thought. "To disappear" That's a pretty difficult thing to do, especially when it didn't involve hiding behind a tree or the bushes....which was something Seika found rather cowardly. Speaking of cowards...that was another thing that She hated. Pussies, and people that think everybody can get along. Seika hated that sort of thing...especially when she saw it in Men of all people. Stupid, ignorant little puss-powders. Now Seika was just getting herself worked up again and decided to return her focus on training.

Seika had an idea of what she could do. However it wouldn't be easy at first. Though that's why they call it training. You don't ever just "Learn" things without trying something reckless or applying some effort. She didn't mind of course, training something until it was perfect. Because the end result was always nice. Seika let out a nasty cough before starting her official training. Ugh...this cold was going to kill her. After a few seconds of situating herself, she started to concentrate her chakra into the cold air around her. It wasn't that hard of a task, but she could definitely feel the chakra being taken from her. Which was a good sign, because it meant she was doing something. Her eyes were shut tight, helping to elude any visual distractions. And slowly...the area started to become enshrouded in a thick layer of pearly white mist. The more chakra she kneaded into it, the thicker it became.

Soon the whole entire lower arena was enshrouded in the thick mist. Seika opened her eyes and slowly stood up, letting out another nasty cough as she did. To become invisible, meant obscuring the opponents field of vision. Which essentially, judging by the angry commotion and the sound of people running into each-other, Seika accomplished. She also heard people accusing said pink Genjutsuist for the heavy mist, and decided to slink to the darker end of the arena before somebody accidentally ran into her.

Shuniji raised an eyebrow in interest. He'd been spending the better part of the morning leaning against the arena's balcony practicing his voice-throwing by starting fights between strangers. Now, however, his entertainment had been obscured by a thick cloud of chakra-laden mist. Shuniji heard the sharp sneezes of his temporary roommate and figured out what was going on.

He leaned back from the railing and held his hands out in front. Tiny chakra sparks jumped between his fingers. He looked on with disinterest as he suddenly clutched the railing.

With a snap, a crackle and a KABOOM, the railing conducted the electricity into the mist, effectively turning it into one, giant thundercloud and electrocuting everyone in the room.

The rumble warmed something inside Shuniji. It was like a baseline to his awesomeness. He liked that.

"Oi, Seika! That was pretty cool! Maybe if you concentrate the mist a little more, we can make some kind of railgun together!"

Shuniji returned to leaning against the railing, this time with his head in both hands and a Cheshire grin on his face as he took in the angry shouts of the sparking ninja down below. He'd managed to simultaneously point out Seika as the source of the fog and pin the electrocution on her, all without moving an inch. Tricky b*****d.

Seika was busy trying to blend in with the wall until the chaos was gone...that was when Shun started barbecuing the confused and slightly irritated crowd. It was pretty cool to watch actually. She tilted her head with a small smirk as she looked on with pride. Yeah, this would be really useful. Especially in combination with Shun....Seika sort of forgot about his nifty lightning element. However, her smile quickly deteriorated when Shun addressed her with a...compliment? That was weir- OH, NO! I SEE WHAT YOU DID THERE! As soon as Seika caught on to his shenanigans, So did everybody else. Only...they weren't looking at Shun, they were looking at Seika. The mist itself had held itself up for quite some time. Though now it was more of a light fog...and she was wearing bright pink. Seika...wasn't really hard to find. She had her back paved against the wall in an alerted pose. Like a criminal that just got caught under the search light. And as much as she wished it, blending into the wall wasn't working. Seika shot a dirty glare at Shun. She couldn't think of something witty to say to him, so she just settled with flailing her middle finger his direction and took off with about six people chasing her down.

"ACHOO! GOD DAMMIT, I HATE YOU SO MUCH RIGHT NOW!" Seika shouted while running around the arena like a chicken with it's head cut off. Shitshitshit! Now she needed to do something about the crazy people that were hot on her tail- FFFFFFFF WAS THAT A ******** AXE THAT JUST FLEW OVER HER SHOULDER!? Okay, these people were REALLY pissed off. If Seika wasn't busy running for her life, she would've laughed at the funny but similar Afro hair they now had. Static electricity was funny...The sound of another sharp instrument whizzing past her head snapped her back to the problem at hand. People were trying to KILL her. Well, she couldn't turn and fight them all...because she really sucked at Taijutsu. Genjutsu would work, but that really wasn't what she wanted to waste her chakra on today- Wait, REALLY? Seika's life was in danger and she was being STINGY?! Typical. Though it wasn't all that bad. She had a small trick up her sleeve. Something....new. If she could just bide her time a little more.

Seika took a sharp turn and swung her Scythe around once, forcing the angry mob to take a few steps back before charging after her again. Luckily she was quick on her feet and managed to stay ahead of them by only a few feet. Seika could feel the chakra slowly building up in her stomach. It was only a matter of time before she could clean the floor with them...and possibly get a revenge shot at Shun, Yeah...that would be nice. The group that perused Seika seemed to have gotten desperate, they started using Jutsu on her. A particularly dangerous jutsu that consisted of a mass fireball heading after her. She barley had time to leap out of the way, and ended up barrel roll, luckily her recovery time was a bit faster. Seika found herself in a crouched position, holding her Scythe in an outward position away from her body. She was poised to strike, but this didn't intimidate the group at all.

Seika could take them, but that would require her to use chakra of course...and she was still trying to store it. <******** Shuniji and his stupid mouth. Seika gritted her teeth and shot Shun another nasty glare. Of course this wasn't a good time to be sending said a*****e dagger like glares. One of the taller Ninja managed to sneak up behind Seika and snatch her up by her arms. She let out a small squeak as he did and squirmed around to try and free herself from his grasp, but he was too strong. Of course...Seika could use Genjutsu, some of her strongest at that, but noooooo. The larger, more masculine one of the group approached Seika. Cracking his knuckles with a twisted smile....Oh wait a sec. That was the guy she was messing with earlier. Greeaat. Just ********> It'll hurt twice as much being that a few of those punches were going to be revenge shots! Yeah...there was no way she was sticking around. With a small heave of her lower body, she snapped her leg up and nailed the guy behind her in the face with her boot. Which caused him to release her and coddle his bleeding face. In less than two seconds, Seika had already bolted off in the other direction while the rest of the group chased after her.

At least now it was time to initiate her supposed "plan." Now she just needed a little bit more space between them. Seika managed to fish some sen-bon out of her small arm pocket. It wouldn't do much of anything, but if she could just get them to pause even for the slightest second, she'd be a good distance to cast this jutsu. Seika quickly twirled around on one heel and launched the sen-bon their way. They quickly leaped out of the way to avoid the barrage of needles. Well...they didn't exactly stop, but it would allow her to get enough distance on them. Once Seika reached the wall, she quickly leaped up and climbed it until she stood on the bars....right by Shuniji, she would have kicked him in the nards if she wasn't so preoccupied with her paparazzi. Just as the group was about to leap up the wall after her, Seika quickly made a single hand sign, took a deep breathe and exhaled at least a four truck loads of water. The Ninja were caught off guard and were swept off their feet and washed away upon impact. At first, Seika was pretty proud of herself....that was until she noticed the water was barley shin deep. Wait...really? Seika must have done something wrong...did she use enough chakra? It should have been deeper. She was too busy trying to figure out her error to really pay attention to the mob of angry Ninja getting back up.
