She could have cared less if he gave her diamonds, she would still care for him none the less, and him kissing her was just as bad as her kissing him.

He shook his head and smiled "I don't know, I've never wanted to offer a girl anything before." There were other small problems like what would happen when he wouldn't age for a little less than 18 years, but for now he could wait. He kissed her again, passionatly entwining his tongue with hers, and then stopped. "Say the word and we're married," then some sense got knocked into him briefly "I mean, uhm, you, uh, we should have time to think but... the very day and hour you decide, please tell me." the world's least romantic proposal had just been delivered with appropriate ackwardness.

She placed a finger over his mouth and gave a stern look, almost like you would to a child, but then she smiled, giving a small laugh, "We shouln't have to think about that this early on in a relationship." Her lips soon followed his, locking once more, her hands now gently resting on the back of his head, fingers spread between his hair. At the time, marriage sounded safe, but she wanted that to be the last thing on her to do list, her still a bit scared about the whole idea of doing it all over again..

"Then are we at least engaged?" he asked, the hope behind his voice obvious. He loved that she was playing with his hair, and bent down for another kiss. Nuzzling her neck, his lips trailed up to her ear. Nibbling on it lightly, he stopped and spoke: "I meant what I said. You're the only person I've ever been in love with before. My mother and I always destroy our future through stupid mistakes. How can I let something so good get away? Whenever you're ready, so am I."

She let out a small laugh, "You are determined huh?" Just playing around, she gave him a jab to his shoulder, just buying enough time to wiggle her way out of his grasp so she could sit indian style in front of him. "How could you let something so good away? Well, being sidetracked." Her face was glowing, grinning ear to ear. "Now if I recall Mister Mordrid, it was you who seemed to play hard to get." Her just remembering him leaving the party for some odd reason, teasing him almost fun, but it nothing personal.

"Absolutly determined" he got up and sat next to her "I only left so that I could talk to Rivven! I tried to warn the man but I doubt it did any good. He saw her face and kissed her cheek "You're right. Good is a understatement. I need to improve my vocabulary!"

Standing up, her still smiling, "Now lets see how long it takes yuo to get it back." She was up for a game of some sort, her legs starting to carry her off over the feild, stopping maybe twenty feet away from him. "Looks like you are falling behind in this race against times." She then started to skip off, looking over her shoulder now and then at him, throwing him a few fancy glances. (people are yelling at me. gotta go.)

For the last few months he'd spent a lot of his time hunting with elves, he was naturally a fast runner...but not an idiot. He kept a careful pace behind Rayne, enjoying it, the words I'm going to to marry her. I'm going to marry her! rolling over and over in his head. He was, Mordrid was full of excitement and hope... finally he decided to catch up to her and did so by running beside her laughing.

She was indeed an extremely fast runner. She would usually drive herself physically when she was upset, so she was pretty strong. Seeing that he was indeed caught up with her, she quickened the pace some, only a few feet in front of him, her soon running into the forest. It was a pretty shaded area, her pupils still ajusting, but her dodging branches and trees like nothing.

When Mordrid hit the branches he left onto them and started moving from branch to branch in that manner. He was going at roughly the same speed as when he had been on foot. "Rayne, where are you taking us?' he yelled down to her.

"Well, I remember a small lake when I was once here. There is a water fall and ever--" She gasped as she started to fall off the rock into the water, it maybe a ten foot water fall, a nice belly flop being displayed. When she surfaced, all she could do was breath heavy and hold onto a rock, her hair covering her entire face, her stomach tingling.

Modrid hid his face to keep from laughing at her. "So how's the water?" he yelled to Rayne. Planning to join her, he stopped and took off his top. Leaving it to fall on the ground, he looked for a good place to jump.

She dunked under water and fliped her hair back. "Pretty cold..." The water from the falls was just splashing her, it causing some chill. So, she swam a bit away from it, her hand still rubbing her stomach.

"Perfect then!" he dived (tried, he landed in the water knees first by the time he made contact) in and surfaced quickly. He shook his head and wiped his eyes, then swam over to her.

"Nicely done..." Rolling her eyes, she dove under, coming back up with a handful or rocks. Even though they were just rocks, some were very different; red, blue, green, and other colors. "This is why I like this place. I use these rocks for the dinect light I have in... Oh nevermind." Dropping the rocks, she then began to float on her back, her body rocking with the small current.
