I also started Prince of Tennis and I'm suddenly attracted to Fuji. Off the courts, nicest guy around. On the courts, downright scary. And I kinda like how his moves are associated with animals, like Bear Drop and Dragonfly Illusion.
He doesn't even look like he's in middle school.

I like PoT despite that the tennis in the show is sometimes unrealistic. But I guess that what makes it more interesting. I mean, Kikamaru makes a clone of himself when he plays singles! Made the referee confused and even made him pass out! I mean, sure that couldn't happen in real life, but it was freakin' awesome.

I don't trust youtube these days....there were, like, 10 episodes of Air gear the other day, and the day after they were all taken down because of copyright policy stuffs.....They be taking anime away crying

So far the only animes I've that have stayed up on youtube is Cardcaptor Sakura and Prince of Tennis. And I think there is more to it than copyright infringement. I want to watch Gravitation, darn it!

Fuji was my ultimate favorite for a long time. Now... now it's Atobe, the silver haired narcissist. xd heart heart And Oshitari Yuushi with his voice that makes you melt. You should hear some of that Seiyuu's song, he MOANS them. eek But yeah, Fuji's still awesome because he's a secret sadist with a girl's voice and plays tennis just for the fun of it, not competiton(Though it's not like he HAS any competion. I think there are only two or three characters that have ever beat him.) Atobe... heart
I am obsessed with Hyoutei. They're the BEST team. And need to win agaisnt Seigaku. stare
I'm currently on episode... well, actually, I finished all 178 episode and am now onto the OVAs, but I stopped at the 8th one because the next three aren't subbed yet, they're so recent. All on youtube. Oh, and I've seen the Live Action movie, the animated movie, most of the musicals, and the short movie. O.O
And no worries, the only characters that look like they're in middle school are Ryoma and Dan from Yamabuki. o.O Which makes me feel less bad for liking 15-year-old anime characters. Tezuka's an adult, I swear. Just like Yukimura from Rikkai is a girl. Along with those Jyousei Shounan twins. >.>
Most of the moves in the show, if not practical, COULD be possible maybe, except for like Juno said, Eiji's cloning move. o.O That was just weird. Or if you saw either the animated or live action movies. No way is Tezuka able to summon Meteor and kill off the dinasaurs as a legal move. Or Ryoma and Ryoga flying above a sinking ship and getting their clothes torn off. Or sudden, out-of-the blue rainclouds turning the sky completely dark. WTH.
Or the 7th OVA at the beach. That was just WRONG. In so many ways. *shudders* Priority seats... sardines... Inui's shorts getting pulled off... RYUZAKI-SENSEI burning_eyes

Then I liked Kaido in episode 27 where he was playing with Ryoma's cat. No matter how many times I watch it, I always crack up. It's like this:
Red = What I think Kaido is thinking.
Cat: *staring at the cat toy on Ryoma's bag*
Kaido: What's that doing there? Oh well. *comes closer* Okay, nice kitty.
Cat: *Does nothing*
Kaido: *Crawls closer* Good kitty....
Cat: *does nothing*
Kaido: *crawls closer, then stops and looks away as the cat watches him* Almost there---CRAP, he's looking!
Cat: *Watches him*
Kaido: *looks in the other direction* Come on, look the other way.
Cat: *looks the other way*
Kaido: *grabs the cat toy* HA! I got it! Joke's on you, ya furball!
After he plays with the cat:

I just about laughed when Ryoma told his overweight opponent from the Okinawa middle school tennis club (I can't remember the name of the school.) to learn Japanese and go on a diet. Then the guy grabbed him by his shirt and lifted Ryoma off the ground. Needless to say, I kinda saw that coming.

And Inui Juice. Well, you remember that time when the Ichinen Trio saw him catching bugs...  And the chibi episodes!!! Those are HILARIOUS! The western, the baseball one, the TeniPuri family ones with Sanada always going 'YUKIMURA!!!' not to mention that in those Momo is a girl and so are Oishi and Fuji. And Tezuka zooooone. And the Snow white one and the one where they're dressed in animal fur loincloths... So great. The short movie 'a present from Atobe' was so funny, too! You even got to see Inui's eyes for a split second. My only problem with the series is the lack of characters with long hair. There are only a small handfull. sad Like maybe Oshitari from Hyoutei, Ryou from Rokkaku, Nioh from Rikkaidai, Yohei(I think) from Jyousei Shounan and then a few from schools that don't appear often like Higa and the American team. And the younger Nanjirou Echizen with his hair that magically gets longer and shorter.

I mostly like everyone on the Seigaku tennis club. I pretty much like every character to some degree, but my top favorites are: Atobe(SILVER HAIRED NARCISSIST!!! My favorite type...) Fuji(sadist!) Oshitari(Guh... voice of sexyness...) Mizuki(XD XD Oh, how I love Mizuki...) Gakuto(FROG!) Shinji(Mumblemumble) Kajimoto(is he bendy or what? XD) Saeki(because when people call him Sae-san, I think they're talking to me. -.-) Yukimura(Who I STILL think is somehow a girl) Tezuka(He is so...hillarious if you can pick up on certain books he reads. He reads smutty books and O.O He reads GRAVITATION. Maybe he didn't mean such innocent things when asking Ryoma to become the 'pillar of Seigaku.' >.>) Ryoma(snarky brat. XD) Shishido(I MOURN HIS HAIR!!) Choutarou(Too cute. Ikyunyukon!) Eiji(Can't NOT like him.) Oishi(Mom!!) Rin(He actually has LONG HAIR and is good looking) Kaidoh(His weakness for small furry animals...) Kamio(LOL, Jazz... >.>) Yuuta(Poor him and his incestuous brother. >.>) Dan(Oh, Dan-kun. I mostly like everyone on the Seigaku tennis club. I pretty much like every character to some degree, but my top favorites are: Atobe(SILVER HAIRED NARCISSIST!!! My favorite type...) Fuji(sadist!) Oshitari(Guh... voice of sexyness...) Mizuki(XD XD Oh, how I love Mizuki...) Gakuto(FROG!) Shinji(Mumblemumble) Kajimoto(is he bendy or what? XD) Saeki(because when people call him Sae-san, I think they're talking to me. -.-) Yukimura(Who I STILL think is somehow a girl) Tezuka(He is so...hillarious if you can pick up on certain books he reads. He reads smutty books and O.O He reads GRAVITATION. Maybe he didn't mean such innocent things when asking Ryoma to become the 'pillar of Seigaku.' >.>) Ryoma(snarky brat. XD) Shishido(I MOURN HIS HAIR!!) Choutarou(Too cute. Ikyunyukon!) Eiji(Can't NOT like him.) Oishi(Mom!!) Rin(He actually has LONG HAIR and is good looking) Kaidoh(His weakness for small furry animals...) Kamio(LOL, Jazz... >.>) Yuuta(Poor him and his incestuous brother. >.>) Dan(Oh, Dan-kun. You're so...desu.) Jirou(FANGIRL!) Dabide(Oh, the PUNishment, pfft!) Niou and Yagyuu(Because they are the platinum pair and can't be separated) Sanada(YUKIMURAAAA!)

Juno_Dagger Saerenna Juno_Dagger Saerenna Juno_Dagger Saerenna PoT!!!!!!!!!!! <--- My current super-obsession. Like, it's scary, I haven't been this obsessed with something since Final Fantasy. O.O; Fuji was my ultimate favorite for a long time. Now... now it's Atobe, the silver haired narcissist. xd heart heart And Oshitari Yuushi with his voice that makes you melt. You should hear some of that Seiyuu's song, he MOANS them. eek But yeah, Fuji's still awesome because he's a secret sadist with a girl's voice and plays tennis just for the fun of it, not competiton(Though it's not like he HAS any competion. I think there are only two or three characters that have ever beat him.) Atobe... heart I am obsessed with Hyoutei. They're the BEST team. And need to win agaisnt Seigaku. stare I'm currently on episode... well, actually, I finished all 178 episode and am now onto the OVAs, but I stopped at the 8th one because the next three aren't subbed yet, they're so recent. All on youtube. Oh, and I've seen the Live Action movie, the animated movie, most of the musicals, and the short movie. O.O And no worries, the only characters that look like they're in middle school are Ryoma and Dan from Yamabuki. o.O Which makes me feel less bad for liking 15-year-old anime characters. Tezuka's an adult, I swear. Just like Yukimura from Rikkai is a girl. Along with those Jyousei Shounan twins. >.> Most of the moves in the show, if not practical, COULD be possible maybe, except for like Juno said, Eiji's cloning move. o.O That was just weird. Or if you saw either the animated or live action movies. No way is Tezuka able to summon Meteor and kill off the dinasaurs as a legal move. Or Ryoma and Ryoga flying above a sinking ship and getting their clothes torn off. Or sudden, out-of-the blue rainclouds turning the sky completely dark. WTH. Or the 7th OVA at the beach. That was just WRONG. In so many ways. *shudders* Priority seats... sardines... Inui's shorts getting pulled off... RYUZAKI-SENSEI burning_eyes
Then I liked Kaido in episode 27 where he was playing with Ryoma's cat. No matter how many times I watch it, I always crack up. It's like this:
Red = What I think Kaido is thinking.
Cat: *staring at the cat toy on Ryoma's bag*
Kaido: What's that doing there? Oh well. *comes closer* Okay, nice kitty.
Cat: *Does nothing*
Kaido: *Crawls closer* Good kitty....
Cat: *does nothing*
Kaido: *crawls closer, then stops and looks away as the cat watches him* Almost there---CRAP, he's looking!
Cat: *Watches him*
Kaido: *looks in the other direction* Come on, look the other way.
Cat: *looks the other way*
Kaido: *grabs the cat toy* HA! I got it! Joke's on you, ya furball!
After he plays with the cat:
Inui: Hello.
Kaido: Afternoon. *walks away*
Inui: He's in a good mood....
Freshman: YOU CAN TELL?!
I started watching the OVAs too. I just about laughed when Ryoma told his overweight opponent from the Okinawa middle school tennis club (I can't remember the name of the school.) to learn Japanese and go on a diet. Then the guy grabbed him by his shirt and lifted Ryoma off the ground. Needless to say, I kinda saw that coming.I love the cracky episodes!! Yes, Kaidoh and his weakness for cute, fluffy animals. And Inui Juice. Well, you remember that time when the Ichinen Trio saw him catching bugs... And the chibi episodes!!! Those are HILARIOUS! The western, the baseball one, the TeniPuri family ones with Sanada always going 'YUKIMURA!!!' not to mention that in those Momo is a girl and so are Oishi and Fuji. And Tezuka zooooone. And the Snow white one and the one where they're dressed in animal fur loincloths... So great. The short movie 'a present from Atobe' was so funny, too! You even got to see Inui's eyes for a split second. My only problem with the series is the lack of characters with long hair. There are only a small handfull. sad Like maybe Oshitari from Hyoutei, Ryou from Rokkaku, Nioh from Rikkaidai, Yohei(I think) from Jyousei Shounan and then a few from schools that don't appear often like Higa and the American team. And the younger Nanjirou Echizen with his hair that magically gets longer and shorter.

I always though this was one of Eiji's cuter moments:

Some of the characters look like they should be in high school or adults even. Akatsu kinda scared me at first, the guy with the really violent streak and who served rocks at Ryoma, beat the tar out of one of the juniors, and poured coke on Kawamura's head. Every time I look at his hairstyle and keep thinking of Vergil from Devil May Cry 3. (Vergil beating Dante with a tennis racket. *dies*) Or that guy with the Deep Impulse serve. I thought he was a bit tall for his age. And all he's interested in is tennis. He's going to be lonely for the rest of his life.
