I'm officially a mezzo-soprano, according to my voice instructor. But I sing Alto most of the time. Sometimes, I'll jump to the tenor or the soprano line if needed.

I'm a soprano. Well, I am at my church choir. My singing teacher at school makes me sing alto. I can't sing alto. It's way too low.

I am an alto, like many. I may have posted here already. Can't remember.
I'm totally a soprano wannabe though. I can sing second soprano as long as the part isn't too insanely high. *coughMOZARTcough*
I'm such a nerd though. I'll have headphones on and be listening to music and harmonizing. So all people here is harmony. ^^;

I'm one of those who can flop around to almost anything.
I'm a baritone by nature.
However, I have been called upon to sing everything from bass (and I mean LOW bass) to Soprano II. I was usually a Tenor I in choir, though.

w00t. I though I posted here already, but I guess I didn't...I'm a first soprano, have been most of my singing experience, but I did sing alto once, because there were a bunch of new altos, and I knew their part bacause we did mostly the same songs as the previous year, and, yeah. There was this girl who never came to practice and still managed to get a shitload of solos....but now I'm at a different school with a freakin' awesome chior program. I'm in the all-girl audition group Les Chanteuses, and we sing classical music 1st sememster and showchoir 2nd. I'm also in church choir, where I actually prefer singing descant to melody. I'm the only soprano in there, though, so most of the songs are low anyway.
Also, in response to previous posts, I can read music as I have been taking piano lessons for 9 years. at my audition last year, there were some seniors watching, and when I fifnished my sight-reading bit, one said, "That was the best sight reading I heard all day", andthe choir director said, "that was the only sight reading we heard all day." ^^

I sing the Soprano 2 part.
Although, I was an alto when I was in primary school. It was great - loved singing harmonies. Now, however, I can't keep my voice floating around middle C for a great length of time: it's a little painful.

Strictly Tenor 2. I just started chorus this year and I don't have much of a range yet.

I'm a First Soprano and I l o v e it!!! I get mad at the altos bunches- they always get the cooler part... I'm tired of the melody, but I adore singing higher than everybody else. I also don't like all of those soprano jokes 'bout how we can't sightread and all of that crap. We totally can, but we never get the chance to practice and get better because we are always handed the stupid melody. I need to write some choir music that has sopranos on the harmony part all of the time. That's be nice.

1st Tenor, but put on 2nd Tenor for our current competition because our Tenor 2s aren't doing so well.... Or even paying attention... BUT! I'll be back where I belong when we start working on our Spring Concert (yay!)

 ♥ Well firstly, i'm a new member smile
I've been singing since i was a little child, thanks to my lovely aunt who is the reason why i can even sing today smile Freshman year, i learned that i was a Sopralto. xd Than i moved schools and the teacher told me to go into Soprano 1, and i've been singing that ever since. I'm now a senior at my school, meaning i'm graduating this year! (YAY!) And if you need to know more, please feel free to PM me! ♥
