Haru watched as the pup wondered off, and got up himself to follow to pup to make sure she was not going to get hurt.
Kipcha grinned at Kona's seemingly better attitude from before, hoping that no one would lash out in anger any time soon. I guess after all of this is over, I will return to by ally, but I'm not sure about the others... Kipcha thought to herself, she enjoyed company, but problems can come up if there are too many dogs in one area.

Silver sighed and sat still. "...My name is Silver..." she rasped after a few moments. She closed her eyes again and laid her head on the ground. She was tired and wanted to sleep. But she knew she couldn't if she wanted to live. Sighing again she opened one eye to assess the others in the group and to keep herself from drifting to sleep. She watched the male named Scat first. He seemed to know what he was doing, so she trusted him for now. She lifted her head again to watch Kona and Kaya lift a bored over. "...When do I have to flip over?..." she asked Scat, her eyes still on the two females.

Felicia curled up asleep...dreaming of the wilderness on a warm summer day. she would sometimes snore every now and then.

Kaya helped to carry the board over to Silver. "Shh. Be queit. It'll be okay." Kaya told Silver, licking her forehead gently. "Youu'll be okay. Um...where are you from?" Kaya asked, hoping to keep her talking as long as possible.

"...I don't have a home. But I used to live with humans..." Silver replied, laying her head back on the ground. "...I won't trouble you for too long... I'm just so tired...." her eyes slowly drifted closed. No! Don't fall asleep! she screamed in her head. But, I have to. I'm so tired... another part of her thought. She whimpered once.

"Stay awake! Don't die now!" Kaya screamed to Silver. "Augh!" she screamed. She lightly scratched Silver's leg, to keep her awake at all costs. "Come on! Kipcha! Scat! Kona! Help! She's falling asleep!" Kaya yelled to the others.

Kipcha immediantly started pulling Silver's ear, which was lightly clutched between her jaws. "Silver, listen to me Silver! You cannot sleep, come towards my voice! Open your eyes Silver," Kipcha said through her teeth. She hoped this would be enough to keep her awake long enough for the others to help.

Silver drowsily opened one eye. "...it...hurts..." she muttered, shifting slightly. "...stay awake..." she mumbled to herself. "...stay....awake..." Her eye drifted closed again. Wait! Don't leave me! The air filled with screeching and then all was black. Silver's breathing became slightly more even as she fell asleep.

"NO!" Kaya called. She bit Silver's nose, knowing it would hurt and bring her back. "Come on! Don't you DARE die." Kaya screeched. "Kipcha! Do something!" Kaya was desprate, knowing the older dog would try to help.

Silver's eyes opened again. "...so...tired..." she muttered, shivering a little. She kept her eyes open this time, trying to watch Kaya to stay awake. She shivered again. Why am I so cold? Is it because I'm dying? she thought, wanting to say it aloud, but unable to. Part of her still could not believe she was going to die, and she could not bring herself to say it out loud. Instead she just gave Kaya and Kipcha a pleading look.

"You're gonna be fine....Fine....Don't worry." Kaya said. She didn't know this dog well, but it was sad seeing her die. "Don't die!" Kaya exploded.

Kipcha's fur bristled, "Silver... you can't lay down and allow yourself to die, you must fight! Look inside yourself and find something to live for! You must fight it!" Kipcha said, her emotions leaking into a giant puddle that was her yelling. Why...? Why am I doing this...? I..., Kipcha's inner thoughts were drowned out by her continuing yelling.

Silver looked at Kipcha. Then she thought deeply for a moment. Do I have something to live for? she asked herself looking back and forth between the two strange dogs. And then she knew. I have to live for them. I have to live for me, and the sheer joy of running and the warmth of the sun in my fur. They may be little things, but that's all I've got. Little things. She smiled at them, as if to let them know she was trying now.

Kipcha slightly smiled, but there was no emotion behind it. This feeling... it frightened Kipcha. She turned away and walked off a ways, enveloped in her own world. What have I done? I accidently let go of my emotions... I feel so happy that Silver is slowly coming back, but that happiness seems empty. Why? ....Kaa-san... (Mother), Kipcha thought to herself, but remained silent.
Haru heard the crying voice of a female, and another female voice near him, his hasty mind quickly decided on the fact that it would be the dog from before that was there. "Wait for me here, I'll be back soon," Haru called out before bolting off towards the voices.

Kona watched the dogs in silence as they tried to wake Silver. She looked at Scat, worried.
Scat was watching Silver carefully, making sure he could pinpoint where he needed to set her ribs. "Alright you guys. We're going to flip her, back legs first". He helped push the board behind her so that it would act as an inclined plane, helping them to roll her over. "Just hold still Silver, this is going to hurt a little, but it'll be over quick".
